One On One with WalkingDisaster and W i s h

Jake pushed open the door to the dorm building, greeted by a blast of cool air. Rubbing the back of his neck, he started to the barn, clucking to Eclipse as he entered the barn, he stroked the black's horse's head.

(Same. -.-)

(I will be poofing...I Am doing a hundred things at once, sorry..Will you be on a lot today?)

Em walked to te barn, taking her time. She had visions of her grandmother popping up early. Oh, well. she thought. At least she is only here for the day.....Em walked into the barn and went to Spirit's stall, deciding this horse needed a workout. "Hey, my sweet boy."

(Probably, not sure though.)

Jake looked over his shoulder at Em, smiling softly. "I thought you were talking to me." he teased, shaking his head as he turned his attention to Eclipse, making his way to Hope's stall, giving Prince a pat on the neck. "Hey old boy." he greeted the Hanoverian.

Em snorted. "I am not the knid of girl who gives my boyfriend a petname," she informed, stroking Spirit's nose. She toook his halter off a rope and slipped it over Spirit's nose and fastened it, opening the stall door.

Jake nodded. "I knew that, Em. I was kidding."

Slipping the leather halter over Prince's nose, he clipped hunter green lead rope to the ring, sliding open the stall door. "Come on big boy." he crooned to the chesnut, leading the old horse from his stall. Prince whickered, lipping at Jake's hair, flicking a fly off his powerful haunches with his coarse tail. Looking back at his mom's horse, he gave the stallion a pat on the neck, starting towards one of the arena's. Once inside, Jake hauled himself onto Prince's sturdy back, using the lead rope to make a make-shift hackamore as he nudged the Hanoverian into a walk.

"Me too, Cookie Face," Em joked, taking Spirit out. The bay gelding whickered and walked with her, stopping when she did. Keeping a hyand on the lead, Em hooked him up to the cross ties, clipping the ropes into the metal loops on his halter. She walked into the tack room and grabbed his saddle, bridle and girth as Spirit waited patiently.

Jake stroked Prince's neck, loving the feel of the stallion's smooth gait and soft coat under him. Nudging the stallion's barrel, he sent him into a trot, gripping the horse's body with his thighs to stop from moving so much. Prince tossed his head as he picked up a trot, whickering softly.

Em threw the saddle over Spirit's back ontop of the saddle pads, and postioned them perfectly. She hooked the girth and tightened the straps, then walked around to do the other side. After that, she grabbed the bridle and stuck the bit in frongt of Spirit's mouth, who whinnied softly and stomped a hoof. Em clicked her tongue and moved it up. Spirit finally took it, and chewed the metal to get used to the feel. Em sighed and grabbed the reins, leading Spirit out of the barn.

Prince whinnied to the other horse, bobbing his head. Jake smiled at Em, patting Prince's neck as he nudged the horse into a canter, rocking with the stallion's movements.

Em smiled at jake, and Spirit's ears went erect at the other horse. Em pat Spirit and lead him to the gravel arena dotted with fences. She opened the door, lead Spirit in, and closed it, leading Spirit to the middle of teh arena to mount.
