Garret is, well, odd. Not odd in a bad way, but odd in a way where you just don't understand him. He isn't dumb, that's for sure, however people always think he is. Maybe it's because he always seems to have girls around him at any point in time, which really isn't his fault. But back to the odd thing, Garret has this weird obsession for art. It's not really an obsession, more like an appreciation, but since most of his friends don't get it, he labels it as an obsession. Most of his friends don't get a lot of things about him, like how he isn't really a bad person, he just has a problem with breaking girls' hearts. And he isn't all beauty, there are some brains in there too. Most of his time is divided between his friends and girls, and any little time he has left is put towards practicing the drums or studying. When Garret is angry, he's a force to be reckon with. He can either be a little bit mad, or a lot angry, there's no in between. When he's a little bit mad, he's a lot easier to deal with, considering the anger hasn't gone to his head yet. But when he's really angry, there's no stopping him.


Just give him some time and space to cool down, or he might end up punching you.


Now on to the real topic, his relationship with girls. There are many words to describe Garret when it comes to this, "fuckboy" and "douchebag" are only two, and there are many more. When trying to "flirt", all his previous troubles disappear, and he focuses solely on the one task at hand: getting in her pants. Yes, it may make Garret sound like a fuckboy, but it's the best part of the whole ordeal. Do you know how many lies he has to come up with just to make them believe him? But, that's only for the girls with self-respect. It's much easier to bed the ones that follow him around all day or instantly find him attractive enough to have sex with. But he kind of likes going for the more difficult girls. The idea of a challenge is fun to him, but if he's really desperate, he'll find a girl and have a quickie behind the school somewhere.


All in all, Garret is a smart, art-loving fuckboy who just wants people to love him and just wants girls to fuck him.

Garret was born April 14, 1998, to Victor and Leigh Ann Hawkins. He was the oldest of 3 children, with one younger brother and one younger sister. His family wasn't rich, but they fell on the scale of upper-middle class. Garret's mother, Leigh Ann, was a stay at home mom/artist. She would paint vivid descriptions of her everyday life and the things around her, while taking care of 3 kids. Most of her paintings, she'd sell, while others would be hung around the house. Garret's father, however, is very different. He's a lawyer, and a successful one at that, who usually brings in all the income. He's very pompous and arrogant, and he belittles his wife because he makes more money than her. He isn't physically abusive, but the words he's thrown at her could rival it.


Ever since he was born, Garret was a star. He was spoiled by his mother, and pretty much anyone else he met. Who could blame 'em? He had a cute face as a child, and he still does. His father didn't agree with any of Leigh Ann's methods on how to raise Garret. Victor wanted a strong man who was clever, cunning, and intimidating. Leigh Ann, however, just wanted to raise her son to live a normal life, because she'd be happy with whatever he'd turn out to be. This led to many disagreements between the two, but eventually, Leigh Ann got her way. At the age of 3, Garret's little brother, Jacob, was born. This time, Victor got his way with Jacob. He made all the major decisions for Jacob without Leigh Ann's approval, whether she liked it or not. His brother had to undergo a lot from his dad, but he eventually got used to it. Garret felt extremely sorry for his brother anytime his dad made him do something, because even at a young age, he knew this was wrong. Garret became very protective of Jacob growing up, and would often help his little brother when his father became too much. Eventually, Jacob became stronger and stronger and learned to not need anyone's help.


Garret was 15 when he entered high school. He wasn't exactly small, he'd grown muscles from working out with his dad, but he wasn't big either. The school he went to was one of the best in his town, and he was lucky enough to get in. There, he met his first girlfriend, who turned out to be a no good, lying, back-stabbing bitch. That's not the point though, the point is that she was the one who showed him how good it feels to break up with someone. She didn't know that he knew of her infidelity, so she was utterly shocked when he broke up with her in front of the school. He called her a few names, and provided her with complete humiliation. Did Garret go too far? Nope, she was wrong for playing him in that way. In a completely non-hypocritical way, breaking up with her taught Garret a few of his own tricks. Like to never get caught cheating, and to break up with girls before they get too attached. It was only a year later that his sister, Annaleise, was born and Garret was just starting his second year of high school. He finished it off turning into the heart breaker he is now while his sister was close to turning one. His parents didn't fight as much over Annaleise as they did over Garret and Jacob, because they were tired of the fighting. Well, Leigh Ann was, which is why she lets Victor get away with most of the stuff he does.


Around Annaleise's first birthday, Victor told the family they had to move, due to his firm moving to another state. No one wanted to go, it was there home and Garret expected to grow old there, but his father's job was more important than his silly little dreams. They moved a few weeks later, and ended up settling pretty quickly into their new home, despite them all wanting to move back (well, except Victor. He could care less where they lived). Garret settled into his new high school where he made really close friends and finished off his last two years of high school.

• Pretty smart and a perfectionist, well not really smart, but yeah. If it's not done right he'll start over. Unexpectedly he carries himself very confidently, he's unexpectedly cares for his looks. Gareth is a paradox of a person. In the public eye, he is a privileged, spoiled kid that comes from a family legacy of strong, powerful, rich men. He's used to getting everything he wants and, thus, he expects to get things handed to him and for people to throw themselves at him. He's aware of his attractive physical appearance and uses it to the best of his ability, never staying loyal to any one girl and hopping into bed whenever he can. He can afford the best tutors and his parents make sure that he has them so his grades stay where he needs them to get into the ivy league school of his choice, though everyone knows he'll go to Princeton like his father and his father's father and every father before them. He loves to party. He has a high alcohol tolerance and he's not afraid to experiment in narcotics and if you're lucky enough to be invited to his parties, you are one step up in the world. He doesn't talk to just anyone and he's known to be quite the cocky, narcissistic, asshole to the people he does socialize with. But in private, those unpleasant walls come down brick by brick and Gareth is a vulnerable, trapped, broken soul. He tortures himself with self-loathing. He drinks and loses himself in drugs not for the "cool" appearance but to drown himself and in the hopes that he might be able to escape himself for a little while. He craves true affection and true loyalty. He craves attention and human touch that isn't meant to hurt him and that is meant for his heart, not for his money. He's quite smart all on his own and but he wants to go into social work, rather than the family business, to help people in the same situation he is in.

He comes from a broken home and parents who are in a broken marriage that they only keep appearances up for his father's career as a well known politician and business man. His father is an alcoholic with anger issues and a cold heart who's never showed his son an ounce of affection but he's certainly shown him his fist. His mother is a disassociated, disconnected woman who acts only as a face for her husbands campaigns and public appearance and she has always pushed her son off for other people to care for him. It has been expected of Gareth from the day he was born that he would go into the family business and become a politician like every man in the family before him. He's been forced into a life path that he doesn't want to follow, mostly because he doesn't want to live a life so bitterly unhappy as his parents'. He's put on a mask of happiness and pride since he was old enough to realize that he was in a life he didn't want. Now, he's trying to find a way out of this way of living he's been forced into.

As of the time being, Gareth is expected to attended Princeton University and to major in business with a minor in political science. He is expected to continue on the legacy of the Pendleton family name. His only salvation is the trip he is hoping on going on with other high school students in the summer. If it were up to him, he'd attend Loyola University in Chicago and go into the career of a psychiatrist/social worker.

✧History✧


One would say that Lilith had the stereotypical “rich kid gone bad” backstory. Her father is a well-known Senator named Richard Hyde, and her mother is Amelia Cadwell, a Music Professor in one of the local colleges. Due to this, their family name had a ton of reputation. She grew up in a fairly crowded family, with her eldest brother Ronan (who is 21) being the first. When Lilith was in Elementary school, she had a younger twin brother named Lukas. The pair had to part ways so tragically, however, when Lukas caught a bad case of Pneumonia, and died.


For a long while, Lilith was placed through therapy, and even developed depression and anxiety throughout middle school. She was happy on the outside, but only those closest to Lilith would see her crying. Now, she helps take care of her four younger siblings at home when their parents aren’t around. They have a nanny, sure, but Lilith doesn’t trust other adults with the youngest siblings. Once she finally found stable ground, Lilith’s grades picked up again. However, she didn’t completely return to the old girl her parents and older siblings once knew; during her period of depression, she discovered rock and roll, which Lilith found was a true outlet for her emotions. Now she enjoys playing the guitar, as well as singing and writing her own music. One day, she hopes to be successful enough to start her own band.


In her Sophomore year, she got in a relationship with one of the former Senior jocks, who ended up using her and taking advantage of her. Because of this, she has a high distrust for jocks.


✦Plans After Graduation✦


Lilith plans to become a famous rock star in the future, and will be majoring in music as well as minoring in Psychology. She's very anxious about achieving her goals, and made sure to have a backup plan to join Psychology. At some point, she also hopes to get married and have her own family.

Delta is the type of girl who knows what she wants and goes after it. If anything, her rough background has showed that if she doesn’t try, then failure is the sure-fire result. This has caused her to be a very determined, very dedicated young individual - however, it has also stolen away a lot of her childhood playfulness as she has always felt the need to do well. To make up for that lost time, Delta has made an effort to be more adventurous as of late. Delta is also a closet competitive freak, and though she has tried so hard not to show it, she has not been able to reign in her ever-constant urge to come in first in any activity, regardless of whether or not she is actually good at it. Fortunately for Delta, that has helped her maintain a fairly decent GPA in school, even though she isn’t exactly the brightest of people.


Because of her upbringing, she is very humble (at least verbally so) about her talents in swim and track. Also because of her upbringing, Delta is honest to a fault and has a tendency to accidentally step on other people’s dreams if she feels they aren’t skilled or hard-working enough. Yet, despite her at first cold and prickly personality, Delta is the type of friend who remains loyal throughout all kinds of trials, and she is most definitely not someone anyone would want on their bad side. Delta also refuses to drink alcohol or do drugs in fear that it may ruin her athletic ability, but she doesn't really care if her friends are into that kind of thing (unless they're out of control).

Her hair is dark brown, almost black, but she dyed some of it blonde as an experiment towards the end of her senior year. Her eyes are green and she has a round face. Her build is slightly muscly and she has very few curves. She is also 5'6" and weighs round about 150 pounds.


Style


Delta generally likes to keep her hair up in a high ponytail. She only really dresses up when she feels like she has to, and she mainly avoids wearing heels. Delta is not normally very fashionable either, and any of the clothes she owns that are even remotely fashionable/expensive probably came as gifts from friends or her coach.

That Refused

History

​

Delta was born into a poor Cuban family in a largely Hispanic neighborhood. She has a younger sister, Lara (who is 9 years old), and a baby brother, Daniel (who is 6 years old), both of whom are in elementary school. Her mother works as a hotel maid and her father works in construction. As far as citizenship is concerned, her parents are legal, but they have a poor history of education and were thus forced into inadequate jobs. Money has always been tight for them, and Delta consistently worked a part-time job throughout high school at the local convenience store to help pay for her extracurricular expenses.


Financial difficulty does not even begin to explain why Delta is so hard working, but it is most definitely the cause for a lot of her motivation. She started swimming when she was 6 because it was one of her father's favorite pastimes, so imagine her and her parents' surprise when they discovered that she was a natural at it. At a birthday party of one of her classmates, a coach at the rec swimming pool advised Delta's parents to get her lessons immediately, but it just wasn't possible because lessons cost too much. As a result, Delta went without training for 2 more years and continued to swim recreationally in her friend's swimming pool before she became sponsored by a mysterious benefactor who provided all of the necessary funds for her to start taking real swimming lessons.


Since then, Delta's love for swimming only grew stronger, and she started running track around middle school since the cardio went hand in hand with breathing exercises. Delta has also won a number of local, state, and national swimming competitions under her rec swimming coach, Coach Natti. In her Sophomore year of high school, when she was exclusively allowed into the school's varsity swim team, Delta was recruited almost immediately by a coach from Arizona State University. From there, she was invited to a summer training program - fully funded, of course - with the National Olympic Swimming Team twice and was given an invitation to attend Arizona State with a full ride by the start of her Senior year. After graduation, Delta decided to take the summer off - since she hadn't had one for a very long time - and enjoy it with her friends. She also wanted to make sure her family would be taken care of while she was away, and many of her coaches have assured her that they would be fine. Delta has done a number of jobs (aside from the one at the convenience store) over the years to help increase their income, which has also definitely improved with all of the prize money she has won from all of her competitions.

Plans After Graduation & Summer


Delta plans to fully take advantage of her full-ride scholarship at Arizona State, and plans to take part in their college swim team. Hopefully, training there will take her right to the big leagues.
