Lord Legendary
There is a very thin line between the upper class and lower class of today's England- and that line was defined by power and money.
Times are tough nowadays. It's hard for even the most respectable peasants to find jobs in England, or anywhere in Europe, actually. The solution, some of the uneducated decided, was to kill the nobles and take some loot: spread the money around a bit.
Typical peasants. Greedy, greedy peasants.
But the nobles fought back. Most of the ones who broke into noble's homes were immediately decimated, and the ones who escaped came with serious injuries. The nobles were outraged, insisting upon the deaths of many innocent lower-class-men to make up for the deaths of a few nobles.
Typical nobles. Bloodthirsty, sadistic nobles.
And then came the Rage. If there's proof out there that there is no sense of justice on planet Earth, this is it: a giant plague swept over everything and almost completely took out almost all of the rustics there were. It didn't touch a hair on any aristocrat's head.
It didn't kill anyone. It just...changed them. Into soul-eating, red-eyed, cannibalistic monsters. Who particularly liked to eat lord's and lady's, but weren't all that picky.
And the only way to stop the spread is to murder them in their tracks. But these are your old friends: you don't really want to kill them, do you? Even if it saves you and other innocent people from catching it or being devoured?
No.
On the other hand, who are you protecting? These nobles are the same ones that killed your family and friends.
It's your choice, mate. Just remember: There is no middle ground.
