"Mrs. Collins, I'm sorry to inform you, but you have AIDS."

Catheryn blinked, her eyes widening with what she heard. She turned her head to her best friend, Marianne, who was also her shadow and is with her everywhere she goes, only to find her as equally shocked as her and frozen in her seat.
"Come again?" Mrs. Collins repeated.

"You have--"

"Aaah! Don't repeat it! No!" Marianne exclaimed in distress, only to find herself be flicked by her best friend in the forehead. "What was that for?!"

"Be quiet, you." Catheryn grumbled at her friend, and turned to the doctor. "How long do I have left?"

"That is..,"

"Aaah! Your husband! You can't discuss details about that here while we're visiting him!"

Her best friend suddenly cried out, pointing at the nearby man who's bedridden by the side for about months now. As Marianne frantically paced up and about due to worry about her best friend, Catheyrn, on the other hand, helplessly sighed due to the actions of her friend. Just then, the doctor tapped her shoulder and said what she needed to hear.

A few hours passed before the two women left the hospital. As they drove away, none of them uttered a word. After all, who would've known that a simple visit to her comatosed husband would end up into a check-up and diagnosis of a deadly disease? Catheryn shuddered at the thought. A few blocks then passed, until Marianne, who couldn't bear the silence, finally spoke.

Marianne: Can I stop by the grocery store real quick?

Catheryn: For what?

Marianne: I need ingredients, for a consolatory pizza. You're probably feeling it right now.

Catheryn: You know me so damn well.

Marianne: Of course, I do! We've been together for years! Oh, I know! We should also invite all of your kids.

Catheryn: Not happening. They're all busy. Besides, they have their own lives now.

Marianne: You know what?

Catheryn: What?

Marianne: I saw Sixth waiting in line in front of me in the mall. (@Geek with Me | @WickedKhaleesi)

Catheryn: I would never. They brought Laduree macarons that time, didn't they? Those were delicious.

Marianne: And that time when Fifth had a broken bone?

Catheryn: He was so stupid at that time. Who uses a metal ladder to clean the bathroom, while the floor was wet? Geez, he ended up slipping, as a result.

Marianne: Yeah, but remember that he did that because you kept complaining that the bathroom was really smelly?

Catheryn: ....Yeah. Anyway, what gives? Why are you bringing up all that now?

Marianne: The point is, those are just proof that your kids really love you. Although they do have their own lives now, they never really fail to give you the attention and the love you need. Sure, First has been living separately for the past five years and hasn't come home ever since, and Seventh isn't really that vocal with her love for you, but I'm sure they have the same love for you. The same goes with Second, Fourth, and Ninth. I'm sure they'll have time for you. They should have, especially now.(@ValentineIllusion | @Keira Winston)

Catheryn: You cornball. Look what you've done, you made it rain.

Marianne: Don't be silly, just admit that you're crying.

Catheryn: Thanks, you cornball. I feel a lot better now.

Marianne: You didn't even admit it. Make sure to inform them, as well. I don't really know their numbers, much less their names.

Catheryn: Sure. Geez. Even now, you still don't know their names, you oldie with Alzheimers?

Marianne: Says the oldie with AIDS. Come on now, let's get those ingredients.

The time is 4:00 pm, and Mrs. Collins and her best friend are now planning a dinner for the entire family. You can do anything as you please and be located either away from the house or inside the family house, just make sure that all of you are in the house by the time the dinner starts. Will the secret be revealed early in the dinner, who knows? At any case, the rp now starts!

October
tumblr_m4mv3npykl1r3fhkp.gif

October sat there in front of her computer with a blank face. She heard her daughter, May playing with her friend, Alice in May's room "They must be hungry" October thought and got up from her chair. October went to May's room and knocked on the door then opened it silently "Girls, do want something eat? Do you want some watermelon?" October asked with a soft smile on her face. Once the girls replied October would nod and let them continue with their game. October went to the kitchen and grabbed half a watermelon then began to chop it into triangular pieces. She came back with a plate of juicy watermelon slices "Here you girls go" October smiled and placed it on May's bedside table next to a stack of princess books. She smiled at Alice "Your mommy is coming soon Alice" October reminded Alice "So by the time Alice's mommy is here I want everything to be put away neatly and I'll give you a treat okay?" October smirked as her brow was raised then hugged both of the girls then left and sat back down in front of the computer. She placed her fingers onto the keys and began to type "What if... someone was doing this for fun? I mean, unless they mentally insane they have to do it for a reason right?" She typed. Some guy hacked into a roller coster brakes and killed three people at the scene. October perked up as she heard the door open, it was her husband. October closed the computer then gave her husband a kiss on the cheek "Hey, Kevin. How was work?" She asked "The girls are playing in May's room and Alice's mom is coming soon to pick Alice up" October explained to Kevin then went to the coffee machine "Want a coffee?" She asked as she pressed some buttons on the machine and leaned back on the kitchen bench "You still owe me that coffee" She sarcastically reminded Kevin with a sly smirk on her face. She sat down on the couch with him and gave him another kiss on the cheek then patted him on the chest before standing up "Go say hi to your daughter while I'll get your coffee" She smiled then neatened his tie before going back to the coffee machine

Jamie

Jamie watches her daddy pack up her backpack "Daddy where are we going?" Jamie asks wondering. She wonders if she going to Nana's. She's mommy mom. Daddy never talks about his mommy and his family. She hasn't met them at all. She looks at his face and giggles "Daddy! You still have pudding on your face" She gets up and walks to him and tugs on his shirt pulling him down as she wipes it off. "Daddy you have to look good! Not silly" She says smiling at him "I love you daddy" She kisses his cheek as she holds her blankey. She walks back to her bed as she watches him softly. She turns to her nightstand and sees an picture of her mommy and stares at it softly

May

At Home May grinned as Alice twirled around the room, showing off her ballet moves. The blonde girl had just started lessons, and May was extremely jealous. But not a bitter jealousy, more of an awed type of jealousy. If that made sense. She watched with hazel eyes as the girl bent and hopped in place, while singsonging 'plie saute'. Her hair continuously bounced around her head, and each hop made a small thud. After a while, May got bored of it, and snuck up behind the girl, and started tickling her. It was as the two rolled around the floor, giggling and smacking hands away, that May's mommy popped in. She offered watermelon, and May instantly perked up, sitting up and nodding her head enthusiastically, along with Alice who was still giggling.

After her mom left, May turned back to Alice with a mischievous grin. The other knew immediately what it meant, and started crawling away, to the other side of the room. May got on her hands and knees and gave chase, loudly thumping through her bedroom. A few minutes later and her mom came back with the snacks. Both gave up playing, in order to attack the watermelon.

"Thank you, mommy," she smiled, hugging her, followed closely by Alice. Alice came over a lot, and May liked to think of her as a sort of sister. So she never really got upset when Alice hugged mommy; but if it were anyone else, she'd be very annoyed. When October left the room, both girls rushed to the plate of watermelon slices. Alice made it first, and grabbed the biggest slice, biting into it with an exaggerated force. Watermelon juice splashed everywhere and May snorted in amusement, at the sight. She followed suit and grabbed her own piece, slurping and eating crazily, the juice getting all over her hands and clothes, making a sticky mess.

They finished off the fruit like that; both giggling uncontrollably.

Let's just say, Travis doesn't do much during the continuous days throughout his scarce youth. Once they're gone, he'll never get them back; regrets. The tall teen had come home fairly late last night after smoking a blunt or two with some friends down the street; the buzz was neutral, so no one could've noticed he was high, really. Upon entering through the back door, he had made his way into the pitch-black kitchen, practically blind as he stumbled around for something to snack on. Grabbing a bag of cheese-puffs from the upper shelf of the pantry, he turned on his heel and scurried off to his room. Before he had even reached the comfort of his futon, which seemingly sat in the immediate middle of the disorganized bedroom, Travis had already opened the bag of puffs, and began chowing down. During the moments of peace, he had played a few games with some friends met through social medias, and eventually passed out, forgetting about the cheddar powdered snacks that had once rested in his left arm, but were thrown into the floor throughout his slumber.

Because of the, usually closed, window curtains being open when the sun decided to show itself, Travis ended up waking on the wrong side of the cheese-puff covered bed. Sitting up with an irritated sigh, and throbbing temples from dehydration, he placed a hand over his face and shot a cringed glanced towards the bright light that blindingly shone through the see-through lunette.
"Agh, seriously?...Th- ju- bull- sh-." That last part only managed to escaped Travis' mouth in low mumbles, so you couldn't really tell what he was saying. All in one motion, Travis stood up, shut the curtains, and stumbled towards his door, in which he them escaped into a more open area, once again being blinded by lights. In this instant, he covered his eyes with an arm, and began making his way to the kitchen; cheese puffs could be seen crushed up in his hair. "Hello~....Mom?" Oh, I should probably mention that Travis is a momma's boy, and adores her to no end. Finally reaching up and scratching some of the crumbs from his hair, Travis searched around the house, and ultimately arrived in the long-awaited kitchen. "Mom~!...." Looking around slowly, a confused expression adorned his face as he mumbled a few imperceptible words in question, "Where is she?..." Travis could be seen standing before the refrigerator, a hand seemingly resting lazily in his pants, chugging milk from the jug.

Tabitha woke up to the bright morning sun shining in her eyes, seeming as to how she forgot to close the curtains. She looked at her clock and saw that it was 10:30 A.M. "Oh my God! Why the hell didn't my alarm go off?" she panicked. She flopped out of bed and scrambled through her clothes for something to wear. "Um, phone, phone, i need my phone." She said as she grabbed her phone and sent a text to her boss.

boss
me
Hey, can i like call in sick today or maybe come in later?
them
Sure. but why? your never late.
me
Its, umm, personal problems.

As she sent the message, she could hear someone yelling outside her door. "mom! Mom!" she heard. She threw on a t-shirt and some shorts, and then shuffled out of her room and into the kitchen. "Travis?" she said as she saw her older brother standing in the kitchen covered in orange colored powder. She walked over and made herself some coffee. She went to take a sip of her coffee, but as the warm coffee started to slowly pour into her mouth, her tongue started to burn. "Ouch! too hot." she said as she immediately put her cup down. She walked over to get a jar of nutella out of the fridge, and she gave her brother a hug along the way. "Good morning Travis." she said. "What are you doing up? Much less, why are you covered in powder?" She asked.

Just before Travis could finish off the last bit of milk in the jug, his younger sister happened to walk in, startling him enough to make him drop the jug. "Tab-...Shit..." Stepping back as soon as it left his grip, Travis face-palmed with a sigh. Guess you shouldn't have been drinking from the jug, now should you!? Before walking over to the sink, he returned Tabitha's hug with one arm, trying no to soak her with the milk that seemingly did so to himself. He grabbed a rag, rinsed it off, wrung it out, then tended to the mess he made upon doing something he shouldn't have been doing. "I gotta wake up sometime or anot- Powder?" Being the person he is, Travis was about to start picking on his sister as usual, but soon directed his train of thought towards the statement about him being covered in powder. Standing up straight, he began inspecting his body by looking over his shoulder to get a glimpse at his back, ruffling his hair to see what would fall out.

Confusion swept over him for a minute before he threw his head back with a smile,
"Ohh~! The cheesey puffs." Travis balled up the dirty wash rag, and shot it into the sink. "I came home last night and got cheetos to snack on. I fell asleep with them after playing a game of Zombies with T.J. and Mike." He could now be seen leaning backwards against the island counter with his elbows. There was a brief, and neutral moment of silence until Travis suddenly realized, "Aye, aren't you supposed to be at work? Or did you not have to go today?" He was pointing a finger at her, his head tilted in a questioning manner. If I had to say there was anything else on his mind, it would be a shower. No one likes walking around with demolished cheese puffs decorating their clothes and hair.

Tabitha
"Umm, work. yeah. about work, i called in sick because I think I was supposed to babysit may and I have a lot going on right now." she responded. she went to the drawer and grabbed a spoon as she started to eat the nutella straight out of the jar. She sat down on a bar stool and looked at the news on her phone. "Travis, i need to talk to you for a minute." Tabitha said with a worried look. She took the ponytail off her wrist and put her hair up in a bun.

Travis listened nonchalantly as his sister talked about work, and how she probably has to babysit May, yada, yada, yada. The usual. He had pretty much zoned out halfway through her sentence, staring down at the floor, and chewing his bottom lip with a furrowed brow as though he were focusing on something important. However, as soon as Tabitha stated that she had something to talk about, he instantly stood up off the counter, giving a look of suspicion, "Huh!?...W-what?" Oh, oh. She's pinning up her hair...I wonder if that means something...? Relaxing his shoulders a bit, Travis continued to stare at Tabitha, hoping to god that it wasn't what he thought it was. All he could think of was the shoe-box kept hidden beneath his bed in which bags, and bags of different titled cannabis sat bundled together; money as well.

Tabitha knew that she couldn't tell travis the truth, so she started to have a small panic attack, hoping that he wouldn't notice. "Umm, yeah. I need to talk to you about something that happened the other night. I was just out with some friends and we were having sort of a pity party for taylor, because her boyfriend dumped her. And so the night carried on and we met up with these boys and they were interesting." Tabitha started to stutter as she got closer to the issue. "And t-they were like these t-total hippies. And i think that I g-got, no i don't think, T-travis ... i got high. we , we smoked marijuana and I just, i don't know who to tell. your the only one that knows." she said nerveously waiting for his response.

When Tabitha started breathing hard, Travis had no idea what to do. He thought about making an attempt to calm her down by reaching a hand out, but soon re-coiled while averting his gaze somewhere else. "The other night?" Whenever someone says this, you always think...When exactly is the other night? You know?...I do. And Travis was thinking the same thing, but just remained quiet because Tabitha isn't the only one who's panicking here. Upon hearing the mention of Taylor, Travis began to wonder who that was exactly. He hasn't met a whole lot of his siblings friends, but they haven't met his either; except for Mike. Mike used to come over a lot before they both go into smoking pot. Because they can't smoke it at his house, everyone prefers to stay at T.J's.

Travis had calmed down a little by now. He knew that the situation had nothing to do with him entirely, until Tabby suddenly mentioned that she smoked pot...His sweet, little sister got high with some friends the other day. Tsk, tsk, tsk. What a shame. No, not really.
"...W-....?" He didn't know what to say, but shock was clear on his expression as he placed a hand on the back of his neck, turning to examine their surroundings and make sure no one else was around. Looking back at Tabitha, Travis stepped a little closer, leaning down a bit, "Calm down, man...It's all good, it's fine. Not a big deal." Of course, it would be a big deal if someone else had found out, but because it's Travis...him being a dope dealer and all. With who? Was the only question he had for Tabby, and it wasn't going to go unanswered. "Do you know who they were? Like..." He could now be seen leaning against the refrigerator crossing his arms, legs also. "Their names?..." Travis gave a quick shake of his hand, dismissing any possible thoughts she could be having as to why he was asking this question, "I don't have a specific reason for asking, I just want to see if I know them....Probably don't, but might."

@morpheusing

Tabitha
"Umm, one of their names, was Dylan, I think. we all split into pairs when we smoked." she said nervously. "I remember he was pretty tall, and he had umm, like brown hair. A lot of tattoos, really thin. I'm pretty sure i got his number. God, Travis this was a total mistake." she said as she put her hands over her face. "How, would you know any of them?" she asked curiously.

Christian Collins

Christian's Apartment | Preoccupied with packing things

@LiaDreamer

"Clothes, my papers, Jamie's toys..."

The male muttered as he frantically shuffled through the things that were placed on a table, stuffing them all into a huge backpack. It was quite a busy day for Christian, since it was finally the day he returns to his home, the place where he grew up with nine other siblings and experienced being raised by two more other fathers other than his own. Nevertheless, his youth was a fun-filled one and mostly, it was all thanks to his family, especially his mom who carried the burden of raising all ten siblings. Now that he was a middle-aged adult, he figured that he repay everything his family has done for him, but unfortunately, as of the moment, Christian had nothing to give them.

As he was frantic and up and about, Christian heard a small voice, and when he turned around, he saw his little angel, Jamie. Upon asking where they were going, Christian gave a small smile and pat her head.
"We're going to daddy's home, Jamie." While he wanted to stay a bit with the petite girl, there was no time, and so Christian continued packing up his things. Again, his daughter then pointed out something, which made Christian's hands traced up towards his cheek, and made him chuckle. "I guess you're right, sweetie. Daddy is a handsome man, after all! Thanks for that." He grinned, as the girl wiped off the pudding from his cheek. Upon seeing the little girl reach out to him with puckered up lips, the man helplessly smiled and picked up the girl, who gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I love you too, Jamie." And with that, she walked off to her room.

After a while of packing, Christian was finally finished. He walks off to pick up Jamie from her room and saw her staring intently at a picture of her mom.
"I guess I almost forgot to put this in the bag. Shall we bring it with us?" He gave a hollow smile as he asked Jamie, before putting the picture in his bag. "Are we all set now? Let's get going, then!"

Jamie

She looks at her Daddy and says softly "Yea we should take it" Jamie stands up and nods "Yea daddy I'm ready. " She waits for him to pick her up and asks "Is daddy's family gonna like me? Or will they hate me? " She says quietly as she looks at her daddy. Jamie hates meeting new people. She holds her blanket smiling as she looks at her daddy. "How far is Daddy's family house?" She learns a lot of words from reading and watching tv. She loves watching Peg + Cat the most.

After hearing the guy's name, Travis began to grow lost in thought, also taking in the brief description of him as well. The person sounded familiar, but if he knew him, it would only be from a small deal a while back. Stepping towards his sister as she covered her face, he placed a hand on her head and gave her hair a good makeover, not that it wasn't a disaster already. "Aye, Tabby, calm down. It's fine." A small laugh escaped his lungs before he began making his way out of the kitchen to finally be relived of this powdered cheese. But, that's when Tabitha asked how he would've known the guy, causing Travis to turn around on one foot, pointing a small hand gun towards her with an awkward expression, "Right...about that...Uhm..." Lifting his hand to chew on his thumb nail, he gave a soft sigh before glancing over his shoulder, slightly curious as to where everyone else was. "...I kind of..." Once again, he stepped closer to his sister, talking in a whisper, "...I sell it...Like...pot..." An with that, Travis awaited Tabitha's reaction with a cringed expression.

@morpheusing

Tabitha
"You sell pot? Like, as in marijuana pot?" She asked curiously. "So does this me I could get like a family discount?" She said with a small laugh. "No, I'm just kidding. So when did you start selling pot?" She asked as she got up and walked towards the living room, making hand motions that indicated she wanted travis to follow her. She sat down on the couch and turned on the news, watching intently. She undid her hair and started to do a french braid as she waited for travis to join her.

@Suzumaki Arakai

Robyn had lied in bed the majority of the day sleeping, having completely overslept from her constant studying. Managing a social life and school was hard for a sixteen year old. She finally awoke, the sun far to high in the sky for it to be morning. Groaning, the girl rubbed her eyes and pulled herself out of bed. Her hair was surprisingly tame as she attempted to wake herself up. What time was it? What day was it even? Having final exams coming up in a week had put a lot of stress on her, as she had stayed up past midnight causing the days to start to blend together. With a panicked expression, Robyn realized that it could very likely be a school day. Instead of fumbling for her phone like she usually would, the families youngest sibling bolted through her door exclaiming frantically, "What day is it?! And if anyone days hump day, I will slap you into next Wednesday." It was obvious that Robyn was not a morning person, especially with the levels of stress she was feeling now.

She didn't see anyone until she made her way to the kitchen, where she could just peek into the living room to reveal her full siblings. It was obvious she had interrupted them, "Oh.. Heh.. Sorry about that.." Robyn trailed off nervously.

Tabitha
Tabitha was checking her phone when her sister walked in, and then suddenly walked out. "Robyn! come back!" She shouted to her sister, hoping she could still hear her. "Hey Travis, I'm gonna put our little chat on pause for a minute. unless you care to join me and robyn, that is if she comes back." She said to travis.

@RedLikeRoses @Suzumaki Arakai

Robyn heard Tabitha call her from inside the living room and popped back into view, "Yeah? I just wanna know what day it is.. Sorry for interupting." She muttered, not yet leaving the room as she looked at Tabitha and Travis. Robyn often wondered why her name didn't start with a T, like both of her siblings, but she couldn't very well ask her father now could she? Racking her head of stupid thoughts, Robyn tried to focus back in on her siblings waiting to hear a reply to her question. @morpheusing @Suzumaki Arakai
