Okay @TheHappyPikachu question before I post. All the adults who are fairy-tale characters are trapped in the town with no way to escape right? Only the fairy-tale children can enter and leave the town.

All the adults who are fairy tale character are.. trapped in the town kinda, there's nothing blocking them fro leaving but certain things make them pretty much just not consider the idea all together, and if they do try to leave something horrible happens. Only the fairy tale children can enter the town and they 'can' leave but they'll still get bad luck from doing so... (just no where near as horrible.)
