I've heard that a few times. The example I was given is a big difference that makes the manga sound more intense.

Haven't watched the anime, but I finished half the manga a couple years ago and it's fantaaastic. I'm a little unsure of whether I want to watch the anime in case it doesn't give the manga justice, the manga was just so emotional and I want to have the same feelings while watching the anime, you know what I'm saying? I want the weight to be heavy, good animation and no change in the character dynamics.
