Hi my loves. I'm back from a very very very long break… If you are a partner I've had in the past and want to rejuvenate older threads, ideas, etc., feel free to shoot me a message and let's rekindle our love for our characters, please! This is an old string of ideas that I’ve shimmied over to a new thread (this one lol). That being said if we had something going previously, let me know!
A few general things
Some of these are song/lyric-based ideas. Below my ideas are pairings I am craving and have plot ideas for.
**ALSO - any ideas that deal with younger girl x older guy or more 'high school' stuff, all characters will be 18+
this should go w/o saying, but you never know lol.
The Ideas
1) And She Will Love Him
Boy has had a drug addiction for as long as she could remember, his issues going all the way back into the start of high school. Now they are both graduated and in college, but his drug addiction is getting worse and she could see the downward spirals his life is beginning to take on not just her, but him as well. She spends more nights sitting with him through his withdrawals than she would like to admit. She has spent countless nights bailing him out of jail due to drug-induced crimes and is always the one to drive him to his favorite diners to sober him up. Worst of all, she has spent countless nights staring at his arms covered in track marks, IVs, and breathing tubes jammed into different body parts in hospital beds, not knowing if he would wake up again. The reason she does it? Because she is in love with him, but she isn't sure how much more she can handle.
2) To Find a Home
Character A and Character B have never met before. He had been a bartender at a small dive bar on the outskirts of a not-so-nice town. One night she ends up on the other side of the bar, drinking away her problems. They both had very different personalities but they both had one very big thing in common. They both had messed up in a big way, resulting in running away from their home towns, and starting a new life. He had settled into his new life and while on the run, she ends up in his bar.
3) Married In Vegas
She's so, so ready
We've been going steady
She wants to take it to the next step
Red lips, champagne, white dress
We live with no regrets
She, for the most part, had never taken part in rebellious acts against her parents. She was innocent, never bothered anyone, and truly didn't have a bad bone in her body. One night, however, she grabs her fake ID and head out to a small bar on the edge of town. That is whenever she lands in a seat next to him, an older, attractive male, with a mysterious background. They get to talking, and she winds up going home with him - the rest being history.
I want a shotgun wedding on a Friday night
Slow dancing with your girl dressed up in white
Say yes, say yes, baby wear that dress
Say yes, say yes, let's get married in Vegas
As they had fallen more and more in love, an unexpected pregnancy takes place. Knowing that her parents would never approve of having a child outside of marriage, they decide to throw together a shotgun wedding.
4) Now You're Famous, Finally Famous
Character A is a musician that became popular overnight. Seemingly dropping next to everything, including his best friend, he moved to pursue his dreams - forgetting about those people that helped him the most. His best friend that he left behind is a journalist and eventually works their way up to an interview with their once best friend. But what happens whenever the journalist finds out about their best friend's drug addiction, one that he sings about the addiction but covers it up as some sort of love song?
5) Apartment 3B
Your character is home early and is just about to go into their apartment when they hear a gunshot ring out from the apartment across the hall. Too scared to make a sound or call the police, sleep never comes to them that night. When they manage to stumble out of their apartment, they come face to face with the man across the hall. An unfamiliar face, one that stirs something inside of them and makes their hair stand on end. The man across the hall is now claiming the previous tenant was their brother, said brother had to skip town, and he was there to hold his apartment and pay rent. Your character knows what they saw though, and something about the seedy man across the hall doesn't sit right with them.
6) Undercover Romance
There was a string of robberies, each getting more violent, and each becoming more and more daring. What the criminals don't know is that the police are closing in at a rapid rate. Whenever they need to know more information about their culprits, they send in two agents that are undercover. She is a well-respected, well-known undercover agent, he on the other hand is a criminal informant that they bring on board for his knowledge of the criminal world. How will these two different personalities work undercover with one another?
7) Their parents were best friends, so, therefore, their kids were bound to be best friends, even if they didn't want to be. Similar in age, they have spent their holidays and school years together, and have always had a "thing" for each other, but it was never the right timing. Now, grown adults but working for the same company, he watches as she hurls herself into a relationship with an older man. He watches her as she begins to cover up bruises with long sleeves and scarfs, and he watches her slowly detach herself from not only her family but from him as well. He is quickly losing the one he loves most, and he knows if he doesn't act soon, he will lose her forever.

A few general things
- 24-year-old female, est time zone.
- My ideas are always super dark and twisted. Lots of angst, lots of twists. However, I love romance, slice of life, and slow burn as much as the next person. Just let me know what you want!
- I mostly play male characters, but I am comfortable playing male or female.
- I have a Grammarly subscription that points out grammatical things to me. I'm not super strict on grammar as I still manage to use a lot of commas and way too many dashes. If I can understand what you're saying, we're good.
- I match post length, but I prefer at least one decent-sized paragraph per response. Quality over quantity, always.
- I should, in a perfect world, have a decent chunk of time on my hands. You can expect at the very least, a response per day from me. On days that I'm manic or super excited, expect more and we can whip out some storylines. I will never expect constant replies and will never drop if you have to take some time. Communication is key!
- OOC is definitely welcome but not required. I have a discord account so we can RP on there or here, whatever you’re comfortable with.
- When I'm super into a roleplay I love and get excited when coming up with ideas, elements, and twists. Please contribute to the writing process and let's build some awesome stories and characters.
