Fantasy Of A Feather (1x1 18+) Rayvin and Saffron_Majesty)

"Well you're healing fast, so as soon as those IV needles come out, we're going to get some fresh air. As your psycholigist I can't condone you sitting inside all day given that you're a cryptid meant to be outdoors." Silas said still rubbing his chin. Ohphelia stretched near the end of the wolf's sentence and her thin limbs arched through the air gracefully allowing her feathers to shine like purple and green mirrors. "You are beautiful you know." Silas said in a moment of awe.

Upon hearing his compliment her stretch seemed to stop short as she lowered her arms once more. Her face seemed to turn pink as his compliment settled in her mind.

“I.. Ah- thank you?.. I mean-“ she stuttered over her words as her thoughts conflicted Roth one another. How was she pretty? It was just her feathers.. she looked awful and felt the same.

She’d never had someone tell her that.. her mom did when she was younger but this felt different.

"Dont get yourself worked up over it." Silas said scratching his head. "But look." The man said, pointing around the room. "Look at all of these colors." Silas said with a starry look, his neck craning around the sunny room with reflects purple and green everywhere. "It's quite stunning." Silas said with a distracted smile.

He shook his head and sat back in his chair. "Anyway, back to what I said before. I want the story to mean something to you. In another week you should be on your feet and we can go to the garden on the roof. Its therapeutic." Silas said, rubbing his chin.

Her wings shifted as his eyes looked over them. “Thank you..” She said humbly. “I-I would really like that.. and-and as for your.. story.” She wasn’t sure if hearing it would help. But she couldn’t help but wonder..

"If you think you're ready to hear it now then I'll tell you. I just thought that being on the roof and more comfortable might make it easier for you to listen." Silas said with a gentle tone.

Silas walked down the hallway toward Ophelia's room. It had been a week and she was getting closer and closer to being fostered. She was coming along nicely though. Every day the two had better conversation and the fragile harpy opened up more. Today was the day though. Ophelia would be taken off of IV and given normal clothes so she could move about the hospital without feeling crippled. The two were going to the roof today.

Silas walked into the recovery room to see Dr. Pierce pulling the IV cuff from Ophelias arm. "This is a good day." Silas said to the room.

Those in the room looked towards him, except for Dr. Pierce who was focused on removing the IV’s as gently as possible. There had been some light bruising from the IV and injection site he placed some gauze and take to hold the gauze over the bleeding injection spot. “Give this 30 minutes then you can take it off.” he said before standing straight.

“I couldn’t agree with you noted Silas. Ms. Ophelia has healed up quite nicely.”

"I can see that." Silas said cheerfully, approaching the side of the harpy's bed. "Could you retrieve some standard clothing for Ophelia?" Silas asked to doctor pierce. The older man nodded and left the room, throwing the bloody IV needles into a hazard bin. When the two were alone in the room Silas looked at Ophelia, who's feathers had become even more radiant. "You ready to go outside today?" Silas asked with a smile.

Ophelia looked up at him and nodded with eagerness. Her wings popped up a little in her readiness. She hadn’t realized it until now but going outside sounded like the best thing in the world. She turned back to the window behind her and looked at the trees swaying some.
