Empress Maraina

Maraina was sitting at the edge of the reef next to her palace. She overlooked the underwater city as the morning sun began to glow through the water. She loved her home but sometimes it could be a little lonely. Flapping her fin she rose from her perch and swam towards the palace. When she neared she swam higher to her daughter's balcony where she leaned against the doors leading out to it. She smiled as she watched her daughter sleep. She was so beautiful. She turned and looked out towards the city again. She hoped she could give her daughter another parent soon. She felt so guilty for her father's death and for bringing her into the impossible and desolate world of a royal.​

As raven swam around the reefs she could be seen looking through the corals and pulling some out or even breaking some into peices placing them in a bag she was carrying. As she worked she found several clams which she grabbed and wondered if she could make something out of them before she swam back to the city and to her home where she ran a small daycare like area but sadly didnt get many young ones to take care of due to her not being trusted because of her being a deep sea mer which where looked down upon by those in the city, while she worked she saw the palace and sighed as she went about getting things ready for the next day but knew that she probably wouldn't be getting many if not any young mers which upset her greatly.
