Lol. Will knows how to summon to summon his Number card within one turn depending if he believes hard in the heart of the cards that he will draw the right cards.

I imagine Zexal takes place waaaaaaaaaaaaaay into the future. Like after GX, 5D's and all that stuff. Like 80 years or so after 5D's? So I'm pretty sure Yugi would be long dead by this point.
 
Alright. How far in the future is that? Most of the old cards such as Dark Magician and Blue Eyes white dragon are considered "legendary" monsters so I don't know how far into the future that is.

I imagine pretty far? At least like 80 or so years after 5D's? Or like a different timeline that branches off it?

Well I mean, I don't think Yugi would have still be alive to teach Will? 'Cause GX takes place ten years after the original, we all know this, 5D's had that big city explosion that wiped a lot of people out and they had to rebuild the city after that. Then comes Zexal.

But you wouldn't have galaxy eyes on the field because crush card virus would prevent you from summoning one on the field.
