So, since things seem to be slowing down a bit, I'd like to nudge things into action.


If you're happy with current activities, please keep the assorted conversations moving. If you want or need a hook from me, I'm open to suggestions. Otherwise, I'm going to bump the timeline up a couple of days and drop a crisis on your characters to sort out.
 
I'm going with the silence as a yesh.


I'm going to move people ahead to the 3rd day of calibration, and post a bit of plot relevant material.
 
Unfortunate, I liked the atmosphere and the characters. I'm tempted to post a reply and see what happens. If midterms give me time, I might work on one.
 
Apologies for the silence guys. Kind of fell off the radar for some time due to various problems and obligations but i've somewhat returned and if there is enough interest i'd probably be up for continuing to play, even if not in too fast a pace. (I was actually waiting for my initiative order back then, in the battle, but no responses ever came, so i guessed the game was frozen or smth).
 
I was under the impression that through some fluke, just about everyone was active on the current tick. I'd say, go ahead and post something. Knowing someone else is actually interested is really all the motivation I need to put something up. With Finals over on Tuesday, I should have something up this week.
 
Oh, hey! If two people are still in, I can fire this puppy back up.


Tell you what, I'll give until thursday, noon, PST for anyone else still interested in the game to post, then we move on and anyone left behind gets made into an object lesson. Deal?


Edit: Also, everyone's acting within the same 2 tick period, rather than the same tick...

Thanks for still being interested Arion Wind and Golentan. Hopefully i won't drown in another rl crisis soon and wil be able to participate properly. :D
 
Just a question regarding these homework we are to have during our studies at Heptagram and especially regarding the first question of our teacher. Is this theory he asked about written in any official exalted book? I haven't read all of them in detail but i couldn't find it anywhere, so i was wondering if it's something that we should know or search more about or ask you in-game in case our character knows it and can recall it, by a successfull Intelligence+Lore roll for example.
 
The question is mostly just fluff. Feel free to magitechnobabble a response, or I could suggest some magitechnobabble. It's basically "there are things called motes, and they pick up the characteristics of things around them, and creation is built around 5 characteristics they can pick up." You both have a high enough intelligence + lore that you can go into some basics.


The actual homework will be an adventure in its own thread which I'll post tomorrow.
 
Apologies for the delay, things are a bit chaotic here right now. Dad had a heart attack yesterday morning, but it looks like he will recover soon-ish. I should have time to sit down and actually put something up in a few days.
 
Family health issues can be devastating, i know from personal experience. Best wishes for speedy recovery to your father and may everything turn out well.
 
Thanks for the understanding. At this point his biggest concern is the inability to have a cigarrete, so we're not too worried about his heart right now. Things are settling down here and I'm working on posts right now. Should be back in the swing of things shortly. :)

No worries. My postgraduate degree "duties" are catching up with me as well and my free time undergoes various fluctuations at the moment.
 
Unacceptable. I'm the only one allowed to delay the game for real-life reasons here. :wink:


In all seriousness, no problem. Life happens to all of us from time to time.
