"I need to be by myself right now, I have to think about us right now." She hurried ahead to be by herself.

Tekai sighed as he went back to their room.

Vernari returned 2 hours later with her dried up from her tears. She laid next to tekai but faced the other way.

Tekai was asleep in on the bed.

She woke up a few hours later but she olaced her fingers atound tekai,s throat.

Tekai woke up With a small yawn before he was shocked. "V-Venus... What are you doing..."

Her eyes were a deep black "you will die, you stand in are way" She passed out a few seconds later.

Tekai was shocked an laid still.

vernari woke up dazed and confused, "what the hell happened."

"I...don't...know..." Tekai answered, shocked.

"I don't remeber anything except going for a walk"

"...You tried to strangle me... You said you wanted me dead and I'm in your way..." Tekai said as he sat up.

"why the hell would I do that, I have no reason to. Oh shit, I think I know what is going on." Vernari ran away and tried to hide from him.

"What is it?" Tekai shook his head and asked.

"we kill our first mate, it's a religious and biolgical thing that happens to all of us." Tears began to run down her face.

Tekai sighed. "I'll die then..."

"no you won't, I have to send you back home. It's the only way." She stood up and stood near tekai holding him close.

Tekai stayed still and quiet.

"I'm so sorry honey, but i have to erase your memory before I send you back home." She held an orb of energy in her hand.

Terai nodded hesitantly. He didn't want this to happen but there wasn't anymore choices.

She placed the orb near his head and took all his memories. "I love you honey, hopefully we can see each other soon."

Tekai fell unconscious as a side effect, falling back onto the bed.

she inserted a special chip to make him feel like he was at home and then went to sit down near him.
