Realistic or Modern North

Christian:

Christian had managed to open the door of the station and found it deserted, it was the perfect shelter.

He heard a shrill whistle and went back outside. He whistled himself and while it was not an official whistle it was loud enough.

He began to put stick in the ground to act as a guide back to the station and began to head back towards the sound of the whistle.

They could use the sticks as a guide since they were sticking out of the ground.

He continued walking until he could hear Mark. He shouted for you and continued putting the sticks in the ground before finding you.

Ranger.....Station...Back...there....plenty....of....room..and.....shelter

He explained panting as he did

(Oh I expected a wasteland xs)

"Well, the sun's getting ready to set soo I'ma get something done before I freeze."Terrance shrugged, letting them set off for wood, then bent down to begin on his own igloo. It wasn't so easy, and he cursed every time the hapless wall crumbled over.

He packed the walls thicker with snow and as he finally structured an endurable wall, he heard Marks calls for Christian.

He looked off into the distance but couldn't see past the trees. He waited a moment.

The wind blew hard on Lars' face, stiffening up his jaw. He was busy helping gather much he would seem to find useful. His hands felt numb for a minute and had gathered a fair amount of branches fit for prepping up a fire to last the night. He looks around and pocketed his hands for warmth. He sees Mark and follows him. He sees a finger sticking out of the snow pile Mark had been. It had sent shivers more than the cold breeze. He wonders if it had been one of them. He suddenly heard a whistle from afar and decided to follow it seeing that it was also where Mark is going to.

"Wait, really? That's really good!" Mark ran towards where Christian had said the station was and found it. Opening it up, it seemed like there was nobody there. There was a fireplace on one wall and some maps nearby. Mark checked upstairs and found a fridge with some rotted fruit and spoiled milk, but there was still some old beef jerky that was still edible. Mark gave a bit of the jerky to Caba, then saved the rest for later. When he left the building and checked around back, he found yet another corpse, this one looking like it had been mauled to death and then partially eaten, probably by wolves. Mark decided to leave this one alone and go back out front. He blew the whistle several times so everyone would know to come to the station.

Lars had arrived seeing an abandoned station. He went in and placed the branches he found near the fireplace inside. He plans on lighting it now but he hears his stomach rumble. He ate the crackers from his bag but it barely made him full. He didn't bother to complain knowing that they are already facing a lot of trouble. He doesn't want to burden them.

Where are the others? He whispers to himself. He then sit and wait near the fireplace. He gulps down a few of his water. He reaches for his pockets and grabs another stick. He calmly lights and displaces himself from this harsh reality he lives in right now.

Terrance heard the shrill call, and looked behind him as he started to construct the far side of his ice wall. He shrugged it off and continued his building until he heard another come and then another.

"You guys gonna check it out or...?" He spoke to the others who were still in their huddled circle. He got up and brushed the snow from his knees, "Well, I'm going to check it out if anyone wants to join."

He picked up his pack and slung it over his shoulder as he followed the call.

"Where are you guys?" He called, as he squinted through the darkening forest. He saw an angular, unnaturally shaped silhouette in the distance. Going forward he could tell at once it was a station, and a man's figure was in the front.

"This is great!" He told Mark when he reached the entrance, happy to forget the sad progress he'd had with the igloo. He went inside to investigate the space.

Christian:

Christian looked around the cabin, they had done it, they had found a shelter that would work. But the next big thing was working together. Out in a place like this, survival depended on who you worked with. As the good old saying went, there is no I in team.

Pulling out some spare blankets stored away he made sure the beds in the rangers bunk room were cosied up for when it got cold. The

station had a simple fire place that would barely heat the place on a good day.

Sighing he sat down as everyone trickled inside the station, the mood was still somber despite their great find.

Lars went and started the fire, seeing people come in. He sees Christian sitting down after fixing up some rooms. He grabbed small twigs and ignited them with his lighter before throwing it with the branches he found. It was difficult but later succeeded. He palms over the fire feeling the warmth and rubbing it all over him. He backs off a bit and calmly listened to the crackling of wood. It's going to be alright...
