North-Wood Palm High

Mason put his hands on her waist and pulled her closer. He kissed her, pressing a little harder. He kissed her softly on her nose and smiled. He kept his hands on her waist.

Mae slowly pulled away from him. She didn't want to, but they needed to get back to school so that she could get her car before the lot was locked. "We should get back, my car is at school," she said breathlessly. She leaned back into her seat and put on her seatbelt. The car suddenly felt like it was 100 degrees, but it was pleasant.

Mason smiled "Ok, we venture onward to the parkinglot" he said with a chuckle. He turned on the AC and started to drive. He finally got to school and opened her door for her and reached for her hand. He smiled

Mae took his hand and stepped out of the car. "Can you guess which car is mine?" She asked curiously. There were five cars left in the parking lot. A yellow dodge neon, and black Explorer and a white one parked right next to it, a baby blue 1966 Mustang, and a bright green Volkswagen Jetta.

Mason thought as he looked at the cars "The mustang, or the jetta?" he guessed as he wrapped his arms around her

"Ding ding, the mustang." Mae grabbed his hand and pulled him to her car. "She was my grandpa's, named her Estella, after my grandma who died before I was born. I love this car so much. She put down the top and brushed her hand over the cream white leather interior. "I got this car last year from him. He had it in his will for me which I think is pretty cool. But my grandpa is still alive, he just wanted me to have it sooner. It's my baby."

She leaned against the frame and twined her fingers in his.

"So, do you want to go anywhere else? Just to chill? Or would you rather just see me tomorrow?"

Mason smiled and kissed her hand he smiled at her "The car is beautiful, just like you" he said with a smile

Alissa smirked "Yes I would" she said, she'd dreamed of this day since the fith grade. She always has a crush on him. He looked at Logan and smiled she almost grabbed his hand but resisted

"Aw shucks, you make me blush," Mae said smiling. Her phone buzzed in her bag, probably a text message or something. She ignored it.

"Sooo?" she asked inquisitively.

Mason smiled "I'm not leaving you yet." he said with a smile "Why don't we take a walk downtown?" he suggested

Alissa smiled she grabbed his hand and smiled. She moved the hair out of her face and smirked. She rested her head on his big shoulder and smiled

"Okay," Mae said, opening her car door. "I know a lot where we can park without a fee. They'll be closing up the school lot soon. We don't want to be carless. Just follow me okay?"

Mae got into the drivers seat and turned the ignition. A loud booming noise blasted through the speakers from the dubstep she was listening to and she turned it down, slightly embarrassed.

"I may, or may not have saved all my money to invest in a thousand dollars worth of speakers and subs," she explained, then leaned up to kiss Mason softly.

((Okay cause I got confused, sorry.))

Mae smiled and turned up the music until she could feel it, but not so much that it was obnoxious. "If you want to change it you can, my ipod is in the cupholder."

She switched gear and headed out the lot.

"I'm warning you now, when I have my top down, and I'm in a good mood, I'm a driving show-off haha."

She rolled up to the stop sign and looked both left and right, the road was clear and with a smile she turned and sped off towards downtown.

Mason laughed "Alright" he said with a smile. He quickly kissed her cheek and sat back. He looked at the side mirror, and looked to the front.

"I dance downtown you know, so this is kind of my spot. Ballet North has free parking for company members and students." She reached a stoplight and came to a stop.

"I have this spot I really like to go to when I need to relax. It's this little hole in the wall, almost like an alley...but after you walk past all the trash and stuff there's this beautiful little spot, and the bricks are all colorfully painted with graffiti and artwork and they have a huge waterfall fountain and a garden."

She smiled to herself. "I wanna take you there."

Mason smiled and held her hand "It sounds wonderful" he said. He looked at Mae and smile brightly. He couldn't belive that Mae liked him.

((UGH does anyone else have a problem with when they try to reload the website the page is broken and totally unavailable, or is it just my crappy computer?))

They drove through most of downtown, past quaint shops and fancy restaurants. Mae finally turned left and pulled into the huge Ballet North parking lot. She ignored the giant poster of her on the front of the building as the Firebird and parked in the corner under a shade tree. She hopped out of her seat and over the door of the car, then walked around and opened Mason's door for him giggling.

"After you sir," she said with a grin.

((That just happened to me!!)!

Mason smiled and walked out of her car. "Why thank you my lady" he said with smile and a kiss

"Not a problem," Mae said closing the door behind him. She took his hand as they walked past the entrance to the building.

"Hold on one sec I need to pick up a schedule while I'm here. You can come in if you'd like."

Mae walked through the rotating doors of B North and headed straight to the office desk where flyers, brochures, and critic reviews covered several shelves.

the tack board right next to it had soloist schedules and she picked the one with her name in bold letters.
