Hello everyone! I've been plodding through my character sheet. Almost done, though. I've really enjoyed the IC posts! I look forward to playing my overdramatic, charming, wannabe-ambitious musician with y'all :)

Good to see ya! Hah, now that I think of it, the two characters are a bit different. But your two are super unique! They give off completely different vibes while still being really fun. I love Imazda's burning focus just as much as Silas' tender soul.

Made a post few days ago. Could you give me a quick yes - no before I stall the game for too long?

Oh, pardon me - there's nothing to stop her taking a few more chunks, but she'll need a way to store them so they don't dissipate.

Anyway, concerning my last post:

[Imzada utilizes one of her Blasphemies - Integration, attempting to adopt the force-repulsive and Essence-leeching properties of the ghostfence material to her body.]

I'll just add the rest here as I did not want to crowd much the IC section with OOC text:

[... However, by virtue of one of her Expressions, Great Unmaker, she shares her Essence with the hammer, thus also imbuing her hammer with the aforementioned properties. Considering the material needs Essence to maintaining integrity/in order to work, I imagined the attributes/Integrated Conditions working only by spending Resonance and in such a way enhancing any action with the hammer.]

Queries:

1. Could something be done along those lines?
2. Would this cost 2 Essence, as the aforementioned Blasphemy does incur 1 Essence per Condition?
3. Could the aforementioned effects, if adopted as permanent, be added as a part of her previously mentioned Expression?

2. Condition actually refers to the physical Condition points - each fist-sized chunk is 2 Condition, and you must specify where in or on her body it is integrated. My guess is a kind of plate.

  • 2.2 Considering her aforementioned Expression, can she imbue her hammer without utilizing Crafting?
  • 2.3 Can I recover her Condition pool back to its limit back down the road, without removing the augmentations? Like some sort of naturalization of foreign parts into the body after a period of time?
  • 2.4 Considering Imzada ate more than one handful, could I assume I have more of the material in reserve? I wish to keep the properties of this material as an option for future activities/projects!

Exactly right.

Certainly - I'd suggest melding a lump of the stuff with the hammer's face.

Absolutely.

Until she digests it, yes. I strongly suggest she fashions a receptacle for the material.

Until her Resonance increases by 1, which will be a dramatically appropriate moment - so essentially, don't discard these additions until I let you know it's safe to do so.

No need to apologize for engaging with the material. :)
 
As soon as Patrjulf snorts dismissal at Dog, I'll have the abbess emerge and the pilgrimage can begin.
 
No massive rush, just don't want to lose our momentum if possible.

I'm sure the other characters can bicker about something in the meantime.
 
ThaDruid ThaDruid gonna move the scene on tonight, so Patrjulf can always follow up on Dog's question afterward. I feel like Dog isn't going to let it go.

Hello! How is everyone doing?
Does anyone have anything specific that they want their character to accomplish within the game?

I have several ideas for the resident demon-engine one of them being to create a vehicle (maybe even we bind a demon into it?) and go vroom! vroom! over some apocalyptic limbo-battlefield scavenging and smashing thing around on our quest to the Ur-City.

If I could bother you for those specifics?
Namely, we were discussing how the essence-leeching and force-repulsive properties would manifest in the Crucible. Imzada integrated the ghostfence material onto one of the two faces of her hammer and over the length of her arms. Hence - three locations?
Integration – Integrate devices and objects into the body. 1 Essence per Condition replaced with machine.

That would be 6 Condition points/Essence from the current 10?
 
You Condition doesn't change, and you lose 6 Essence.

The material worked into the arm will add +1 to your Soak and Magic Resistance.
The hammer will dispel Essence-fueled effects when the modified face strikes a Demon or object imbued with Essence.
 
Gonna have us a wee encounter to teach some more mechanics and then move to meet the last character to join...
