Hewwo I’ll be getting my first post up as soon as I can. However anyone can start as it should be everyone arriving at the academy for the first time!

Cora & Cain
Cora and Cain has known each other for a while as they were both beings of the forest, creatures that resided within the shrubbery and nature of worlds. Their relationship was a simple one at that, Cain could communicate with the horned horse. It made things easier for her in the long run so she stuck with him, not caring for ranks at all.

Cora's hooves hit the stone placed walk way with a few clicks and clacks, slowly approaching what would be their school for some time now. She was only here because Cain wanted to, otherwise she'd stay far away from any other creatures. Her way sort of swayed with each of her steps and she halted in front of the huge school, it was intimidating in a way.

"Here we are!" Cain chimed with his cute little voice. His wispy self jumped off her back and looked around for anyone, they must have been the first ones there. He did prefer to get to places earlier than most, see what he could find.

Cora put her head down next to him and let out a snort of breath that passed right through him. Cain hadn't even felt it at all. The blue wisp giggled a bit and put a tiny hand on her snout. "It'll be okay! I'm sure they have a garden for you to relax in..." She nodded her head in hope before they continued on inside the school.

As they both expected, the place was huge inside and out. The quiet that echoed in the halls made it all the more ominous and scary. Cain didn't seem to mind but the shy unicorn definitely did. It was a very well put together place as well, fancy even. Someone had definitely taken their time to take care of it for students, this wasn't some public school anyone could get into.

From there, Cora and Cain decided it best to keep exploring. They'd have to learn the academy eventually and now was the best time, when no one was here yet. At least they were sure no one was there. Cora clopped around the halls with Cain on her backside, looking around corners and looking for a garden to lay down in.

Damien Lykos

"So, this is the school, huh? Looks... passable."

Damien gazed up at the particularly-grand-looking Academy, but as he admired the exterior of the building, he lowered his head just as quickly. This place was where he would be seemingly forced into a career choice that he didn't initially want, despite his own protestations. It wasn't so much that he didn't think himself intelligent enough to join the family business of pharmaceutics, but rather, that he had grown quite jaded of his parents' stuck-up attitudes towards the lower classes and the work they did. This irritation had fostered a great hatred for the entire system in his heart, and even if his parents viewed working in a mine as "commoner work", Damien himself thought it was a particularly clever position for a werewolf-- they were strong, fast, and as he would be working underground quite a lot of the time, he also wouldn't have to worry about "full moon madness". Not to mention, beating through rock could be fantastic stress relief.

Reaching into his backpack, Damien produced two items-- a cigarette carton and an engraved metal lighter possessing a picture of a phoenix. After removing a single cigarette from the carton, he placed it between his lips and lit it with the lighter, striking the old-fashioned mechanism it contained. Damien didn't want to enter the Academy just yet, and so he instead walked over to one side. At present, he looked like a human from the waist up (albeit with particularly sharp-looking fingernails and a few razor-sharp teeth) and a wolf from the waist down, with digitigrade legs ending in large wolf paws and a tail hanging limply from his backside, all of which possessed jet-black fur, the same color as his own hair. As he walked around, the ground crunched beneath his paws, leaving light prints in the soft ground. Once at one wall of the Academy, he leaned his back against it, his arms folded and his cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Presumably, the staff wouldn't permit him to have a lit cigarette anywhere inside the building, and so he would wait until he was done with it before he officially decided to look around the campus for himself.

Interactions: None, but Damien is open for interactions (though, expect him to not be too nice just yet)

Telith&Arlosk
walking together onto the campus grounds was a pair of creatures one was a tall female her red skin horns and long tail let on that she was definitely a demon. her clothing or lack thereof... and rather curvy body did narrow it down to exactly what demon she was a succubus. the creature next to her... was different they wore what looked like leathery armour and a hoodie his clawed hands clicking together as he looked at the ground only 2 glowing orange dots could be seen within the hoodie as it was covered by a shroud of darkness. What exactly they where was very hard to tell exactly what he was. though any demon might recognise the strange fellow as the adopted son of a particular arch-duke galath, meaning it was a odd dragon known as Telith, and the succubus was arlosk. "Telith it's not gonna be that bad just relax your doing much better then a few years ago sweetie" arlosk gave telith a grin lifting his head up gently the boy letting out a little sigh. "Yeah I'll just err try.. i- it's ok." telith replied sheepishly g giving her a little hug.

Folen
Folen was rather confident in how he was feeling sure he might just be a Slime but it.wasn't like back home where he was basically a massive wimp no he could be much tougher yeah even if everyone else was big and scary and... ok folen form melted suddenly form a muscular looking humanoid to just w puddle by the side of the path... mabye he could just sit here for a little

Nico
Nico sauntered into school in a tailored black suit, dress shoes clattering against the stone floor. So this was Nightshade Academy. It was quite elegant. He walked through the gates, and chose not to address the smoking werewolf at the perimeter of campus. He walked further into campus, exploring the premises. There didn't seem to be too many people around yet, and it was just as well. He would have to socialize with the lower classes eventually for PR reasons, but for now, he was just going to enjoy his morning. Hopefully, as the day wore on, he wouldn't JUST be meeting lower classes though. Surely there were some people actually worth his time that were going to show up.

He glanced over at some chattering just within earshot, and found a B and C class talking about gardens or some inane drivel. These people wanted equality and couldn't even handle a city? Pathetic. If he could help it, he wasn't going to waste his time with those people; he had already deemed them inferior with a glance. Instead, he quickly walked away from the unicorn and the pixie thing and continued to wander the school.

Alba
Alba, in contrast, was overjoyed at her first day of this new school. Her human legs were weak especially with all this stuff to lug around, but she still ended up running through the gates quite quickly. She was going to make so many friends here, and there was a chance that they wouldn't all just be mermaids! She would actually get to interact with the people that so many members of her family still thought were so bad. But like mermaids were good and bad, she knew that other creatures could be the same way! Like goblins, and zombies, and incubi and succubi and --

"Oooh, a unicorn!" she said softly to herself, seeing one through an open window. Alba had no sense of boundaries, and she ended up entering the building and barreling down the hall towards them. "Hey, wait up!!" It was only as she drew closer that she noticed the Will-o-Wisp flitting around the equine. "You have a very pretty mane! I'm Alba, would you like to be friends?!"

Leo
Leo trudged on into school, dressed in jeans and a T-shirt both because it was all his family could afford and because it didn't really feel like any other day to him, even though he knew cognitively that he was starting at another school today. The school was real shiny and looked like it had a lot of money poured into it, but that only made him more sure that nothing about the current order was going to change through these diplomatic means alone. This was a front, a flashy gesture that wasn't going to do much as long as the only solution was to throw money at the problem.

He dug in his bag and took out a cereal bar, opening the wrapper and gnawing on it. Breakfast was nice, and this didn't taste half bad, with all the sugar in it. Though he wasn't too hyped up, his family sure was, as Leo was the first of their family with even a hope at an education. Though Leo was obviously a goblin, with his pointed ears and sharp teeth, he'd gotten slightly more humanoid features than the rest of his family, and his mom especially thought that this might help him reach a social status beyond janitor or maid. Leo doubted it. Maybe instead of being a janitor or maid, he'd get to do a menial desk job or, the pinnacle for a goblin, be a bank teller. Ooooooh. Exciting prospects.

However, he didn't even make it that far. As he neared the gates, he suddenly was whacked in the head hard by some dumb girl's bag flying everywhere, and he could only watch prone from the ground as her and her stupid white pigtails bolted off, having not even known that he was there. He noticed some Werewolf that watched the whole thing, but he just decided he would... lay here for a while. Perhaps if he lay here, he'd just melt into the ground and not have to deal with any of this.

Elyn Rowe
I am sharper than my fangs darling.

Beginning of the academy year, heralding a fresh start, marked in with the cluster of new students and the like. Elyn was one such fresh face, but— she tightened her fingers against the suitcase, perfectly manicured nails handling her luggage with an aura of being forlorn. She wasn't against attending, but, the division of the ranks now becoming a quiet murmur, a disdained sort of idea and even welcomed amongst the lower populace. She wasn't sure— that was the entire basis for the unblemished glint in her eyes, clarity, ringing through with a droplet of hesitation. Fire against the furnace only made that burn so much brighter, she supposed, as the idiom was a fleeting thing in thought, referencing that perhaps the student body wasn't ready for the big change, for the world to be shifted onto the axis. To be pulled from the scales of normalcy, or maybe, Elyn was feeling that her superiority was a quaint thing to be challenged, tracing over that she was far more powerful. Loading a sigh from pearly pink lips, Elyn deigned the entrance with herself, rolling one suitcase and another bag, perched on top with security locks and one notable purple tag, sprawled with her name. She had spent a little time making sure she was organized before coming here, all so obvious from the elegant scripture and little hearts she dotted. Trailing through the gravel, grand arches, architecture likely spanning years of ancient history and prestige, but all the older vampire mustered was a sort of in itself queasy glance. The type of look which bordered on slightly constipated— as the sound beneath her expensive boots crackled and tumbled, so did just etches of confidence, restored, naturally by the swagger in her shoulders. Fear is inconsequential, with that rattling around her pretty head, Elyn gladly and performed with a little twirl in her step, up to her place of presumably she might be staying. "Move." She commanded to the lesser elites, watching the flickering shadows, bumbled drones of the lesser, clearing her path. Quickly as she had spoken the first vowel. No student managed to look her in the eye, and the elder Vampire was fine with that, encouraged with an accepted hum.

Elyn did have a reputation for being a diva, sharp and smooth. She was fitting into her skin better, the taste of fresh air and the drizzle of sunlight, drowning out the more pesky speculations that didn't do anyone any good. She was glad for the distraction. First day and she was dressed to the nines, red elegant halter top, leather skirt, and of course, stylized boots, just adding an inch to her dominating visage. She was the visual snack bar of refined clothing and high-dining, even her status was clear as day, aside from her looming notability. She was worth it in every way and Elyn was soon growing accustomed to entering the nightshade academy, all worries aside. "Cheers to a new year and new shit." She muttered to herself, eyeing up her domain, residency, tugging a smile of injected ease.

Rev
Rev wasn't exactly looking forward to having spend time around monsters she didn't know. She never really paid much attention to other people, simply existing in the abandoned house she spent most of her life or rather unlife in.

She was vaguely aware of the ranking system in which the world functioned in but really didn't care enough to say anything about it, not that she ever said much of anything at all.
It was better to let people say what they wanted and not speak up. Anyone with any kind of opinion usually had already made their mind up strongly about it anyways and talking was too much effort anyways. Of course this led everyone to either fear her or simply ignore her more often than not, and being a wraith only cemented this. It wasn't like she really cared enough, she had no real motives or purpose to do anything so most of the time she simply existed and floated around aimlessly. After all what point was in doing anything? It would only result in trouble and Rev wasn't fond of trouble.

The academy building seemed like just another building to Rev, although she guessed everyone else had emotions going into this or atleast some amount of fascination being here.
Perhaps if she just stayed quiet nothing would bother her.

Lydia

Okay so getting to go to some crazy school where monsters lived was exciting for Lydia, she definitely had always wanted to study other monsters and races up close. One time when she was venturing from her village in the north she encountered a slime and trapped it but it complained so long so she had to let it go. Lydia was kind of disappointed, she didn't really even get to perform rituals or dissect it.

Although she didn't really think she'd get away with friendly-mutilation here at the academy, she hoped atleast she'd be popular enough that nobody would notice if she started causing minor problems around school. Lydia also enjoyed really messing with people. Pranks, gossip, spreading rumors, sneaking on conversations. Most people usually thought she was quite weird but most of the time she get away with less consequences by being cute. The academy seemed like a fun place. Quite big. Hopefully comfy beds. She wondered what they were really supposed to be doing right now. Would there be a teacher coming to announce anything?

npkCXI.png

The tiny neko was staggering up the school grounds, the earth crunching softly beneath her combat boots. Dressed in an oversized black hoodie and matching miniskirt, the girl was dragging behind her a suitcase that appeared to be nearly as big as she was, deep brown tail twitching with the effort. Where the heck was Ambrose? He said to meet him out front. She smiled to herself, thinking of her sweet cerberus; if Jinx knew her boyfriend, it was no doubt so he could be chivalrous and carry her luggage for her. But he'd have his own bags to carry, and the boy was obviously running quite late, so Jinx figured she might just get settled in quickly so she could help Ambrose with his own stuff when he arrived.

But first, a rest. Jinx dragged her luggage to the nearest side of the building, dropping it beside her with a huge sigh of relief. Resting against it, she turned her head lazily to glance around. A tall, brooding fellow stood a few feet away, also leaning against the same wall. "Oh, hiiii!" Jinx chirped, sidling up closer to him. Though he didn't respond right away, she was no less excited to meet her first new friend at the academy. The perky girl simply flashed a sunny smile at him and reiterated her greeting, then proceeded to chatter on cheerfully. "Hiiieee! I'm Jinx. What's your name? This place seems cool, right? Are you excited? First day, after all. I'm a bit nervous, but I'm sure it'll be fine. What did you say your name was?"

The past few weeks have been... Trying, though that's putting it lightly. Like, calling-a-dragon-lizard lightly.

Her first morning back in her home realm was spent marinating in her own vomit. Gross. Even grosser was that she had no change of clothes handy—none that she would wear unless at knifepoint, anyway—and had landed in the middle of nowhere. Not a sign of civilization for miles around. Only the trees, which stretched on in all directions, served as her one companion. That, and Megan. Though, the trees were far more friendly, especially since Megan didn't seem to be in the mood for chatting. Not after their little tiff.

In hindsight, the fight was stupid. Chunhwa's pretty sure that all those heated words were really just the stress building-up. That nothing was really meant in sincerity. Still... It hurt. And Chunhwa's not ready to let bygones be bygones just yet. Not until she hears an apology. (Sure, she may have been a damper on their already dwindling morale and she did make catty comebacks, but it's not her fault that she isn't used to living the wild life! It just can't be helped.)

Still, she gave a sidelong glance at Megan, pouting. She missed Megan. A lot. Usually, she'd have had an arm slung across the other's shoulders, and would have rejoiced at being able to attend. Megan would have gushed on and on and on and on... Probably about the prospect of learning more of that occult stuff, and she would nod along, just glad that they could finally make some headway on their shared affliction (and her ascension.) Instead, here they were, keeping themselves at the maximum distance that metaphorical 'red string' of theirs could go and avoiding eye contact the whole way. Chunhwa couldn't help but deflate.

Can't be helped, she supposed. And far too late to do anything about now, since Megan had gotten 'lost'. Not a good sign, for sure. But someone's bound to have seen her, right?

Concerned, she turned to the first person she spotted, a dark haired man with really red eyes. Hands clasped together, she looked up at him and, with the full strength of her Chunhwa Charm™. "Soooo, I'm super sorry to bother you, but, like, have you seen a girl around?" She waved her hand vaguely below her height, continuing: "Kinda around here? Maybe a lot shorter actually. Specifically one with brown hair and glasses? Looks super nerdy? You know the feel."

Damien Lykos

Right when Damien thought he had a moment to himself, his sensitive ears picked up the sounds of soft footfalls. Taking his eyes off of the ground for a split second to see who was approaching him, he noticed a cat-eared girl lugging around a huge suitcase (or, at least, the suitcase looked huge compared to the girl's own size) and rolled his eyes before gazing back at the grass he was standing on.

After the Neko, who introduced themself as "Jinx", finished with her overly perky introduction, Damien let out a sound that resembled a cross between a mildly annoyed exhale and a low, wolf-like growl, the lit tip of his cigarette glowing brightly for a moment. He temporarily removed the cigarette from his lips and lightly tapped the bottom of it with his ring finger, allowing any accumulated ash to fall to the ground, then slid it right back into his mouth, his arms returning to their folded state.

It seemed for a moment that Damien was not going to respond to Jinx's inquiries at all after at least a couple minutes of straight silence, but then, five solitary words escaped Damien's mouth as his eyes narrowed slightly:

"...Are you done, kitty cat?"

"Ummm..." Jinx tapped her chin, pretending to think. His annoyance didn't seem to faze her one bit; she adored the dark and brooding vibe he gave off, and it only encouraged her to continue on in the same annoyingly cheerful tone. "I dunno, are we friends yet?" She asked, giggling. "No? Then I'm not done yet!" She squeaked happily, launching into another string of lighthearted ramblings. "I'm Jinx, if ya didn't hear me say.." She joked, quite positive he heard the first time but just didn't care. "Nice to meet ya!"

"Not gonna tell me your name, huh? You a werewolf?" Jinx nudged her chin in his direction, towards the wolf-like tail behind him. "If you won't tell me your name, I'll just call yooou...Wolfy!" She teased, clearly enjoying herself in the knowledge that this man certainly wouldn't appreciate these nicknames. "Orrrr...how 'bout Puppy? No, Fluffy!"

Megan the 'Awestruck and Lost'

Her breath caught in her throat as awe stopped her heart. They had arrived. The early morning sun reflected off the white stone of the Nightshade castle. Looking up at the mountainous building, she could not help but feel small. Like an ant trying to climb the Tree of All Knowledge. Her hands traced the cold gates of the academy as she took her first steps into the opulent halls.

It looked as if a lot of money had been poured into the building, but Megan realised she had no way of telling. It certainly looked better than the motel she and Hana had stayed in the previous night but still, she reckoned magic would make construction much easier. For all she knew, the other students were mocking the shoddy construction work whilst she stared like a slack-jawed dumbass.

A motel. She had stayed in a motel. In a magical world. A motel. A magical world motel. It was just so bizarrely normal! This new world was just too familiar, it was uncanny. She had to wonder why? Was it just convergence - similar conditions in both worlds leading to similar inventions? Had the human realm somehow influenced the magical one? Or vice versa... Had all ‘human’ innovation ultimately arose in the magical world? Only to be later aped by its lesser, shallower, reflection?

In her heart she knew that this world had existed for a long time now. All her research pointed to it. ‘Nothing would make sense if it didn’t.’ But still, she had not been prepared. She remembered the forest she and Chunhwa had been stranded in. The abundant magic was overwhelming; it was earth-shattering for Megan to see how omnipresent it was. Hana had to shake some sense into her to get her back to reality. In that forest, the grass was greener then anything she’d ever seen before, it was more natural and smelt so fresh, the stars were more mysterious and the very air tinged with wonder. There was this great longing inside her that had been fulfilled and the feeling just grew with each step she took.

She was in the other world. She was so, so far away from home. Home, that is a funny word. She has never really had a home. Places she has lived in, yes. But not a home.

She felt a tug on her left arm that she largely ignored before she stopped to look at a painting. It was a portrait of someone she did not know but who had the biggest, goofiest smile on their face. Her mind turned towards her… traveling companion, the Goddess Konohanasakuya. Also known as Chunwha, or (more commonly) just Hana. She didn’t know what to think about her right now. Their little spat had left a bitter taste in her mouth. Megan did not appreciate having such a stupid argument during such a stressful time and she demanded an apology.

'We were friends though, right?' At least by Megan's standards. The months leading up to them crossing over were fun. She honestly enjoyed it. Working as a team, stealing that highly expensive vase and planning on how to deal with all the other problems their mad plan ran straight into. Well now they had a new problem, this ‘string’ that bound them together, and they sure as hell needed a new plan. Though Megan wasn’t sure they’d ever even talk to each other again.

She stood on the precipice. A lonely woman in the echoing halls of Nightshade Academy. Her old life lay behind her and, with slowly more students trickling in, the promise of untold wonder stood before her. That was the weirdest thing about her new world she reckoned: her fellow students. The unicorns, the goblins, the dragons and all the rest! To see such mythic creatures walking down the sidewalk was breath-taking. And yet they could all choose to look human. Perhaps with a tail or two, or multi-coloured skin or even no skin at all - having something else in it's place. But every single inhabitant of this realm was able to take a humanoid form - she had yet to encounter any exception - and it was just fascinating. What implications did this have on the connection between the two worlds? It was the perfect metaphor for the feelings churning in Megan stomach, blatant displays of magic mixed with the uncanny human-ness of it all.

Of course, none of them were human. She was not a human! Or at least not one related to the Homo sapiens she grown up with. It was stilll difficult to fully take that in. She had always felt different, but she did not know how right she was until Chunwha revealed the truth to her.

She was not a human. She was a sorcerer, a creature of magic, and she had finally come home.

Today was the day indeed. A day the angel had both loathed and been excited for. He was finally free of his tomb, his task set before him as he made his final preps to leave for earth. Still despite his excitement at being free the task set before him was confusing, he didn’t understand his task nor how to accomplish such thing. Tirelius had only ever known war and combat, to be expected to not do just that was unknown to the angel and yet still he was determined to complete his task. As Tirelius slowly strode through the golden halls he came upon the sight of prayers and took a kneel before the holy light. The tip of his spear pressed against the ground and held up with his right hand while his left hand laid in a fist over his chest.

“Holy father, give me the strength to travel the road laid out before me. Let me not sway from the path and fail.” He said softly as his head rose to look directly into the light. He basked in the subtle warmth of the holy fathers light a little more before deciding he was ready. In an instant he was engulfed in a bright light. His armor looked as if it heated up before in an instant the massive angel was gone from the heavens. It took only a few moments before he would be at Nightshade. A white streak across the sky that came hurtling down to the front entrance of the academy.

Tirelius wasn’t one for theatrics though his entrance was rather theatrical. He landed in a kneeled position. His armor glowing white as he landed would quickly fade to a hot orange then slowly back to its normal gold. His wings would lay on the ground and slowly rise as he did to there normal position held out as he rose to his feet to stare at the academy. “Truly an awful place. Filled with such sin.” He grumbled quietly to himself as he stared over the academy for now with distaste but to also steel himself as his fathers task echoed in the angels mind.

Nico
Nico looked towards his side and found a... very pink girl asking him to help her find her friend or something. With the way she was looking at him though, it was clear that she was totally into him. And why wouldn't she be? He was absolutely gorgeous and of high status, both in rank and financially.

But what was she? He couldn't tell from looking at her; again, she was just very pink. Still, she didn't have that... how should he put it... C-class stink that lower beings had. She was actually quite beautiful, in fact. Moreover, he felt a magical energy about her, and the nearby flowers seemed to stretch themselves towards her. He did have a keen eye for these sorts of things. She was likely a dryad, he mused; he probably had time to fraternize with an A rank for a bit.

"Unfortunately, madam, I have not seen anyone matching that description," he said, speaking through his princely façade. "Would you like help looking for her?" Aw yeah. He was so regal. So princely. So handsome.

Damien Lykos

Damien clutched a hand against his face when Jinx continued to pester him. As the werewolf grew progressively more irritated, the growl he was emitting seemed to be getting progressively more intense. Reaching into one of his pockets, he produced what appeared to be a red-and-grey pill and briefly removed his cigarette as he placed the pill in his mouth and swallowed it before returning to his normal posture and returning the cigarette to the corner of his mouth.

/Shoulda saved that for the full moon, but... don't wanna rip anyone's throat out on the first day.../
Anyone with enough medical knowledge would recognize the pill as Lykozine, a not-quite-perfected medicine created for werewolves to help suppress the rage fits associated with a certain phase of the lunar cycle, though it could also (somewhat irresponsibly) be used as a stress reliever in a pinch.

"I... heard you the first time." Damien responded to Jinx when she gave her name again. "And... Damien-- my name." He snarled when Jinx started coming up with nicknames for him. "Now, kindly screw off, kitty." It was here that Damien began to bare his teeth at the Neko as his irises seemingly began to redden. "Let me let you in on some advice... if you don't wanna get bit, don't piss off the wolf." With a "hmph", Damien removed the butt of his now-finished cigarette from his mouth, threw it on the ground, then stomped it out.

just laying there on the ground like a puddle for a while probably wasn’t the best of choices for the slime... not that he really cared much anyone who stepped on him would get a nasty surprise. Then some well what folen thought was a goblin but.. distinctly not very goblin got smacked on the head by a bag and landed with a thump right next to the slime. Raising his form slightly eyes formed from the mass tho they were not something he actually needed folen felt it was only respectable to have them for the show so to speak. “Umm.. hey there so.. you just laying in the dirt too? Yeah“ Folen stopped realizing he wasn’t exactly projecting a very imposing image of himself.. he‘d probably made a laughing stock if he didn’t pull his act together. Raising his form up again he retook that muscular male-looking form he‘d had prior to offering the goblin a hand up. “I’m folen nice to meet you” he’d respond trying to make his tone sound Gruffer then it really way.

Another large figure stepped onto the campus grounds small curled horns long flowing raven black hair and equally dark feathery wing folded behind the tall figure, they were obviously a demon though their looks might have been better placed on an incubus they wore a worried expression on there face, however. This was Zexzad.. of course despite being an S rank new places always made him worried... thing would go ok right? he didn't know as he walked carefully around the place his wings wrapped around himself almost in an attempt to hide. hopefully he could settle in before getting spotted

Niri was needless to say anxious about coming. She’d never been one for... self confidence among people that weren’t scylla’s so to be going to a school where she was the only one of her kind was somewhat daunting and made her a nervous wreak. Still she had to try and at least seem confident in herself as she slowly made her way into the school. Her hands gently held together as her eyes didn’t go up to meet anyone’s eyes thanks to her anxiousness but still she moved.

Quickly wandering from the front entrance of the school to avoid as many people as possible Niri relaxed a little once she felt she was away. The Scylla knew how a lot of others where. How the high ranks seemed to see all below them as low and inferior and hopped she wouldn’t run into any. But sadly for the poor girl her wish wasn’t granted as she gently bumped into the back of a guy while deep in thought for a moment her confidence stepped up as her look turned to a glare and she moved back. Her tentacles lifting her up a little more as she glared up for a moment before she noticed the magical energy of the man she just bumped into and could feel her nervousness growing once more. Not noticing the pink girl infront of him. Quickly she spoke to try and get out of the situation. “S-s-sorry.” She said quietly

    QUINN ARCHERON
The young seelie fae had long awaited the taste of freedom. For nineteen years, she had mostly been tucked away at her father's manor within the bounds of Seelie. While she might have received a good education under the guidance of private tutors and had been given or taken whatever material things she wanted, she had had little opportunity to travel beyond her family home and the court of deception. But, somehow, the ruby-haired trickster had been blessed with a rare opportunity that she did not hesitate to snatch at first sight. The muscular man beside her just so happened to be one of the pieces in her game of chess.

The architecture of the building was unlike that of the Seelie Court and, by all means, much grander than she had imagined. It was almost as if it had just popped out of a prestigious painting. The corners of her mouth tugged up a bit as she looked to her brother, who looked positively disinterested in the sight before them.

"My, my, Dear Brother, no need to look so bored." The two of them were no particularly close due to the large age gap between them and her brother's tendency to leave for extended periods of time. Despite this and to her surprise, Dane had reluctantly agreed to embark on this journey with her. If he had not, her father would have definitely not let her attend such an academy. "I'm sure there will be plenty of fun for you here," she commented, giving him a knowing look. She then offered him an arm.

"Now, shall we go see what is beyond the gates, brother?"

Telith&Arlosk

interaction: Daniel Reaving Daniel Reaving
Telith jumped a little as one of the students with a flasher entrance decided to make there debut shining light and gold orange smashing down into the campus ground like some meteorite streaked across the sky Telith managing to catch himself before falling over. “I’m I’m ok” he‘d mumble softly.
Arlosk on the other hand gave Telith a smile, not being startled more intrigued bu the fellow clearly an angel or something. “Aww Telith just release that pent up tension a little your doing great honestly“ she’d respond in a caring tone giving the hooded boy a quick hug.
Telith letting out a soft purr he‘d pull away form the hug looking back at the big glowing guy. Sure they might be big and scary and kinda weird.. talking to new people was a good idea right? It was just one person he could totally handle this.. taking a deep breath he‘d walk over to the guy looking up at them as always only 2 orange dots of light floated in a sea of blackness Within the hoodie. “Umm err h—h-I…..” Teltih managed to blurt out mustering a weak wave.

at the same time Arlosk took note of this as Telith ambled off a big grin on her face. She’d hardly needed to say anything for Telith to go try and socialise in his own awkward little way, and well she was proud of the boy for trying. But she could smell the angels annoyance with the situation here, so Arlosk followed close behind Telith leaning a little against him. “Hi cutie quiet an entrance you made there hey~” her tone and words have a flirtatiousness to them even how she was standing, though Arlosk wasn’t intentional trying to flirt but subconscious she did it without noticing much like an accent.

Maluon

Maluon didn't like going to school, he hated it with a passion. It did not matter what labels one gave such a place, whether that was 'academy', 'university' or 'college', it didn't make a difference as far as Maluon was concerned. In his mind, this place was a glorified prison, and as such, he was going to do the minimum to get out with a passing grade. He believed such places were simply puppets of the establishment, pushing the ideologies of consumerism and capitalism, and discouraging other lines of thought in a way that wasn't obvious to most. He believed that governments as they currently stood would prefer a people not capable of thinking critically enough to question said government.

Maluon was uncomfortable in other ways as well. Being a shapeshifter whose animal form was a sea creature, he didn't care much for dry land, especially if it was hot and dry out, and due to the fact it also made him rather hard of hearing. He is also prefers to keep to himself for the most part.

Maluon walked slowly into the school with his head down enough so people didn't see his face, but not so much as to lose his glasses or bump into someone else. He had a map of the place in his possession, so he wouldn't get lost, but he also started to use it to figure out where other students would gather to socialize, with the intent of avoiding these places as best as the layout would allow. Maluon was an awkward and non social individual who would much prefer to be lurking around Davy Jones's locker than around this place.

"Oh, but maybe I wanna get bitten, Wolfy," Jinx purred back flirtatiously, tossing her glossy chocolate locks back from her face before finally dissolving into a fit of giggles. "I'm kidding! Don't get your panties in a wad, Pooch," She laughed, thrilled that her words got an annoyed snarl out of the wolf. She had curiously watched him grab some sort of pill and swallow it down dry, nearly asking him what it was for but ultimately deciding that would be too rude a question for a first meeting.

"Soooo...what are we doing, buddy?" Jinx gazed up at him with friendly amber eyes. "What's on the agenda? We going inside this place or what?" She jerked her chin toward the huge building behind him, shrugging with a playful grin. "Or we could just stand outside all day, that's cool with me too."

Isla
Location: Nightshade entrance
Interactions: BOKEH. BOKEH. Asteria

Isla was needless to say excited for this coming adventure as she came to the entrance of nightshade. Her dead eyes looking over the building with curious study as her lips curled into a smile, an innocent yet at the same time evil and dead smile as she spoke to her self. “So many new play things hehehehe I do hope to make lots of new friends here.” She couldn’t help but mutter to herself with a creepy chuckle. In all honesty though Isla knew she didn’t have to come here, there was no need for her to come to a school and yet here the necromancer was out of pure curiosity for what would go on inside. Did they allow the dead? Would they let Isla continue her experiments and fun? All these questions swam through her head as she walked onto the grounds, unknowing of the deep cut on her arm that was pouring blood and with that same dead smile on her lips. She saw no point in “dressing up” and such wore her usual outfit (look to photo) as it was comfy for her and allowed her all her needed things. Her book hung off her right hip with the knives, the tattered ends of her dress stained red as usual from her bleeding as well as her hands. Truly she was an unnerving sight to see but the girl didn’t care. They where all just play things to her, just hosts temporarily holding onto there bodies before leaving this world behind and her with the corpses to have her fun. The thoughts alone where a mouth to make Isla giggle excitedly to her self.

“all the fun I could have here!” She squeaked excitedly to herself, hugging her self happily as she trotted around in a somewhat aimless fashion before her demeanor changed. Her excitement quickly turned to strain as her hands went to her head. Dizziness started to take as the voices came. Whispers and distant screams of the dead, some that couldn’t be understood and others that where crystal clear as if they where right in her ear. Why now of all times did they have to come?! One of the few things that could cripple her just had to show up as she came to this school. A school who's body worked on who's strongest! God she couldn’t show weakness now and yet here Isla found herself. Clutching her head in her hands as she stumbled forward. Still unknowing of the trail of red that followed her Isla could only make it a few more steps before she reached out with her bloodied hand for anything to support herself with.

Expecting to find a wall or something else Isla’s hand landed on another girl’s back. Feeling the warmth of the girls body Isla quickly moved in, stumbling into the girls back and burying her face into the girls shoulder blades as she panted and groaned, trying to fight the voices back, trying to quell there screams that rang in her ears. She was so focused up in fighting them off that Asteria was all but unknown to the girl. All she was to Isla right now was a warm soft place to rest and clutch onto while she dealt with her issues of insanity. Slowly Isla’s arms wrapped around the girls waist to keep Asteria in place while she groaned and struggled. Gently rubbing her head against Asteria’s left shoulder with a look of pain and weakness on her face. Still completely unaware of the blood from her left arm that she was currently putting onto Asteria’s outfit

Cairi & Viole

Cairi and Viole are the best of friends since childhood, that would be the only explanation why Cairi would allow Viole to sleep on her while she is in her Akhlut form.
After a long journey to the academy they finally arrived with Viole still sleeping on Cairi’s back, but not wanting to look bad she slowly turned into her human form and put Viole on the ground or at least that was her plan but sadly Viole fell while she was transforming and fell on his bum waking him up.
“Have we arrived Cairi? Also thanks for the ride here you know how hard it is for me to fall asleep and coming to the academy as tired as a dead man doesn't look nice!”
Said Viole and after Cairi cleaned herself and fixed her clothes she replied
“Yeah I know you pile of lazy bones. Now get up! Or maybe you want to lay there?”.
Then Cairi held out a helping hand to Viole to help him stand back up.
“Ok now get your bag and let's get going we can see the academy right ahead.”.
Viole gladly accepted Cairi’s help and stood up cleaned himself from the dirt and dust that covered him, then he took his bag from Cairi and checked if his pet raccoon Rascal is there and there he was sleeping in his bag eating a cookie.
“So let's go forth, my Queen!”
Said Viole with a smirk and a pinch of sarcasm to Cairi.
She only responded with a quick sigh at his words then they went towards the academy, with little Rascal popping his head out of Viole’s bag and waving his hand at a Neko girl while they were passing by and he was holding a bag of cookies at that.
Perhaps he wanted to give her a cookie or just tease her with it, but no one knows what this raccoon thinks not even Viole.

Another year, another start — a stuttered breath was caught between chattering teeth as Drancis finally emerged. He was released from the tender song of nature, uncoiled from her protective arms and into the harsh world. It felt harsh. Even as his bare feet touched the ground, stoned pathways were too crisp under him. Far too unrelenting against bare skin, in which the nymph drew a frown. Drancis had a complicated history with magic, the human world and supernaturals. Spanning over a dark canyon of emotion and resentment. Too much to unpack on the first day, the first bristle of sunshine and the sound of chaos interwoven amongst the students. Carrying himself like a warrior into battle, with a floral bag over his shoulder and bracing his heels against the ground (shoes were just a nuisance to him and his kind). The hum of harmony became so faint to him, brushing out the outer reaches of his eyelashes, kissed on the tips of his fingers and into the air. He never got used to the process. How could he? What creature could understand the vital importance of his connection? The empathy which resonated in his chest and throughout? Upon his tongue in an unperceived melody to the masses. It made the dryad a bit grumpy, starting his day through the splendour of a bad mood. Urgh.

The hallways were a cluttered cloud of unknown and known faces, a rushing river that stemmed both ways.

Drancis didn't feel the need to placate his worries any further, stepping to his right and somewhere more quiet. Away from the boring conversations. Only stimulated by the simple and small-talk, the awkward 'how are you,' to get thrown right up against him — to be heckled for answers. He was a creature who preferred some semblance of quiet. But yet, his ears were strained with a million voices, a million (exaggerated), of different words that harboured so little meaning. There was one piece of the picture which didn't conform. In the name, or rather, element of one such girl who was admiring a painting, a portrait of someone that Drancis didn't know personally. It was his first day like everyone else, pushed by his family to experience more of the world and lose the edge in his voice. To lose the knife in which he wielded carefully by two smiling cheeks. "How much do you wanna bet that smile is fake?" Drancis hazard a guess, drifting his eyes up to the wash of colours and doubt, sprinkled into each line of his lips. He was serious in asking and how he approached the student (Megan), he might come to know. "So artificial - the greatest truth and lie everyone has ever participated in." That gave enough sense in how Drancis operated. The pink daisy-head like dryad whose every thought was soaked and baked in cynicism, couldn't even compare to the ridiculous spotty t-shirt that was wrapped around him. It was irrelevant if the girl didn't agree but he did stop for a few moments, hulking the bag up over his side.
