Fantasy Night Star Academy

Virgil said nothing, only continued to hide himself. He took deep breaths, trying to calm down.

Tadashi Kihara: A well known name in this town behind a barrier. Shizuka Kihara.... Another well known name. These two people happened to be father and daughter. But, they both did not see it that way. This Shizuka Kihara roamed the halls of Night Star Academy in search of the place she should be located at the moment. She was not used to being this late to anything. Many people gave her quick looks or long stares, some might not even know who she was. This was one of the first several times that she officially left the cruel walls of her household. If you didn't keep up with the news, and things such as this, you probably would never recognize her face at first glance. But, it was rare not to at least know the family name of Kihara that she held. Shizuka was disliking being so crowded in that small auditorium that she finally came across, so she made her way to a board that contained who she would be rooming with. Usually, she would never be allowed to get up and leave while another person is speaking, but no one was there to stop he. At least that's what she thought. A teenage male and female were close behind watching her every movement, but they seemed to keep a low profile. Shizuka skimmed the board quickly, not finding her name the first time around. Before she searched once again, she turned to see most people avoiding the board that she was looking upon. She took a quick look around. She appeared to be calm yet holding a cold expression at the same time; at first anyway. Her face started to redden a bit and her head completely shifted back to the board in search for her name. She was used to the attention, but she still didn't like it in anyway shape or form.

Meanwhile, Katsuo was devouring the snack table nearby. Every now and then he would hide a few things in his pockets, like he often did at lunch also. But, not too many people would see it. He wasn't exactly using an illusion, but he was using a trick he learned to lead other's eyes off of some of his actions with just a sprinkle of raw energy. Another guy was behind him sighing with his arms crossed, "Every year..." Shiro spoke under all of the chatter.

Yet another boy stood behind Shiro with his mouth right behind his year as he said, "At least it's not as bad as last year." The boy with glasses almost jumped, but not as much as someone else would. He was still not used to Tatsuya sneaking up on others like that.

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Shiro said fixing his glasses, like a cliche smart guy in an anime. Both teenagers turned to see a beautiful girl with captivating curly, pink hair passing by, heading towards the dorm room board. Katsuo's chick radar went off causing him to also turn and give a slight glance, only to turn back to the food and continue to consume the snacks that were meant for all of the students. It was unusual for Katsuo to stop eyeing a girl like that, even if he was eating, something he liked doing equally as much. Usually he would either get "dibs" or already be speaking to an attractive female like herself. He had yet to realize that he knew this girl, and knew her rather well. Shiro and Tatsuya both looked over at Katsuo's strange behavior and then looked at each other. "Shouldn't we be heading to our dorms?"

Katsuo lifted his head once again, picking one last snack from the table into his pockets, "Yup," He said quickly swallowing down one last mouth full of food. "Let's go." Tatsuya's gloomy expression then made the room's mood change completely. Both Shiro and Katsuo looked at him with a confused look, "What's up, Tatsu?" Katsuo spoke slightly worried, yet used to his emotions often changing just like that.

Tatsuya spoke in a quiet voice, "I'm rooming with Shiro...."

Shiro quickly grew an angered look on his face as he fixed his glasses, "What's that supposed to mean?"

Tatsuya blinked slightly at Shiro, "I wanted Onii-chan," he said as if his words were completely obvious.

All Shiro did was slightly whimper before Katsuo laughed a bit. "Wait, then who am I rooming with?" He said looking like an abandoned puppy on the side of the road. "Yukio possibly?"

Tatsuya looked up at "Onii-chan" and said, "Your rooming with someone named Violet Vendetta, Katsy-chan.." Katsuo had a sparkled in his eye as he ran down the hall, towards the dorms, without knowing what room number he was assigned to. Tatsuya hissed in his quiet and soft manner of speaking, "He's mine, Violet...." He ran off right behind Katsuo without realizing what his statement sounded like.

"W-Wait up guys!" Shiro said running after the rather energetic pair of oddballs.

"Saved from the clutches of wherever, et cetera."

Mumbling a paraphrased section of Shiro's speech, Emil sat among the back row of students in the auditorium. This was the start of a new year, a fresh chance for inspiration and progress. Yet opening the ceremony with this girl certainly wasn't something he would take as a promising sign. Not that he had any kind of grudge against her personally. Admittedly he hadn't even bothered to speak to her. Those who weren't fresh faces to the academy would be hard pressed to know of her though. Her followers were quite vocal, making that strange club she ran thrive as they aspired to...do whatever it is they did. What were they about again? Oh well, no matter.

Continuing to listen to the model student talk he could feel his attention begin to drift off. Admittedly he couldn't help but be disappointed. Remaining here wasn't a matter of acclimating himself to the campus now having been enrolled for several years. It was more for trying to pinpoint potential. Inspiration. Yet everyone seemed so dull. So boring! Even Miss Kanashimi seemed to be struggling to prevent herself from spacing out mid-sentence. Standing up from his seat Emil flicked the bottom of his coat in a dramatic fashion, unwittingly slapping the student adjacent to him in the face with it. Oblivious to the daggers now being glared at him he made his way past the crowd toward the bulletin board, scanning the object for his new dorm assignment.

She tapped her chin. Maybe I should try a different approach. How hard is it to make friends?! She took a piece of paper and wrote on it.

I am Mira Elder, and I am not going to hurt you. I guess you're afraid of girls, which is just fine. Is this way of communication better than actual talking? (Trust me, I totally understand, last year I didn't talk to anybody and it took the same trick for me to make friends.)

She made a paper airplane out of it and tossed it to Virgil, hoping he would reply. If not...she would have to think of something else.

Virgil was thinking up an elaborate plan to escape when a paper airplane flew straight into his head. He let out a tiny yelp of pain and picked it up. He unfolded it and read the message written, and an eyebrow rise in suspicion. He took out a pencil from his pocket and began writing on it.

'I can talk, just not easily. You...things frighten me beyond anything else I know.'

Mira looked at the paper, relieved that he had replied.

So you are afraid of girls? she wrote. That really must be difficult. I'll try not to act too....girlish, if that will help. She gave the paper back.

'Nothing helps. I was born this way; I won't change.'

He wearily pushed the note back over the island.

I understand that. Just not in the same way.

Mira hesitated to pass the paper over, but after two minutes of debating, gave it to him.

'With all due respect, it's better to keep your past to yourself.'

He passed the note back onto the island and silently sprinted back to his room and jumped onto his bed, face in the pillow.

Pandora was by all means dejected. Things just didn't seem to be going her way. One bad event just led to another one and that just exasperated her. At first, she woke up late and ended up forgetting about the meeting in the auditorium. When she did get there, she was immediately pulled to the side. She still could still hear the voice of the teacher. She didn't understand anything the teacher was saying but she just knew this teacher really loved to talk next to her ear. After that horrid ordeal, Pandora went to seat herself. The moment her bottom touched the seat, the opening ceremony ended. She wanted to stay seated just to rest her legs but that wish was unattainable as she was forcefully dragged by the sea of people. She swore she felt someone purposely pull her out the chair [which was not true].

After that incident, Pandora wanted to eat at the cafeteria but she was excited [a controlled kind] to see who her new roommate would be. That was an impracticable feat as the board was practically shielded from her view by other students. She decided to head to the cafeteria but when she got there, the line was too long for her taste. She wasn't about to spend her new school year waiting. And so, she walked around the school a few times. All the while calming and easing herself. It was all good until she saw a bumped into a student holding a doll. She was cool at first. At least, she tried to be. She stiffly walked away but the student suddenly noticed her fear. She could see the evil grin the student sported. They started coming closer and closer until in the end, Pandora shrieked and ran like a madman.

This caused a lot of things to happen as well. Such as ramming people to the side, stumbling a few times, slowly letting her powers get loose, etc. Thankfully, the power thing didn't get too bad other than a few things floating for awhile. The result of the whole episode was multiple people kissing the ground, multiple people getting hurt, multiple people getting bumped into [which was the least serious], getting hurt herself and part of the school to be a mess. Pandora knew she was in trouble but she couldn't care less. She was safe from that creepy little kid. What wasn't good was her condition. She started to wheeze and sweat bullets. She always was physically weak. She greedily sucked in breaths to calm herself down. After a few minutes, Pandora looked around and saw she was at near the room assignment board. How convenient and amazing. She ran around the whole school. That was certainly her personal achievement. With that in mind, her mood was mended and she made her way to the room assignment board.

Violet sat trough the speech, with of course with no enthusiasm. She quickly stood up and went to see who she was room with instead. She reached the board and looked for her name. IT was side-by-side with... A guy. She sighed in annoyance and ran to her dorm, quickly. Jazmyne her cat, followed closely.

Violet had made it to her dorm, and entered. Thankfully no one was actually there yet. She snapped her fingers, and used transportation magic to set up her room in seconds. Jazmyne of course, went to the desk that was set up and set upon it like it was her own. Violet smiled. "Who's a good, kitty?" She asked, petting the feline.

@Crimson Night (Violet probably isn't going to shun him, but tolerate him. Heh.)

The amount of people surrounding Shizuka grew in size. This caused a girl to bump into her and almost make her to fall onto her face. She was caught by someone else bumping into her from the other side. Shizuka slowly got swept away by the crowd, "H-hey excuse m- Ow! Wait-" Confusion was brought upon the female by the sudden uproar of students that didn't seem to care if they knocked someone over. They all must have been heading to their dorm to unpack their belongings. She somehow managed to steadily get back on her feet after being pushed around for a bit longer, but she bumped into someone's back as a cushion to her landing. She was back where she started, at the board containing roommate match ups. Shizuka backed up a couple of steps and looked up at the tall, blonde male before her. She quickly bowed her head mostly to avoid eye contact, "My apologies," She kept her head low as she stared at her feet, awaiting for his approval of her apology; if he even forgave her.

Katsuo was sprinting down the hall; Tatsuya close behind; Shiro far behind. Katsuo stopped in front of his dorm room door somehow knowing it was his own. He took a deep breath as he turned the door knob. The door flew open while he had kind of a big, stupid yet cute grin on his face. It quickly got swept off and replaced by a blush as the dorm roommates made eye contact. He gulped as he noticed how pretty she was. Her slender figure.... Her short, dark, purple hair.... Eyes that you could just fall into... All of her features that smoothly blended together... Maybe he was exaggerating her beauty a bit too much, but he did this with almost all women he came across. Katsuo would be rooming with her for the rest of the year; if she didn't request a different roommate of course. Could she do that? Hopefully not. He cleared his throat as a hint of the blush remained on his face, "H-Hello, I'm Katsuo Yoshida... You must be Violet. It's a pleasure to meet you." He was being rather polite, actually caring to make a good impression on this girl who seemed to be new to the academy. A faint voice was heard down the hallway and a person soon stood behind Katsuo, but he was still facing the female as his hands found the knob and the door swiftly closed just as this person appeared. He smiled slightly rubbing the back of his head, "Sorry 'bout that. H-heh..." He moved on from that rather quickly, "I wasn't expecting such a beautiful girl as my roommate." Katsuo's flirty side was showing as the shy blush was no where to be found. Instead a smirk sat on his face. Katsuo's eyes couldn't help but travel to her side of the room, seeing how it was already set up. She must have gotten here quite earlier. Then a black cat sitting upon a desk on Violet's side of the room caught his eye. This must mean that she loves animals, or at least cats. They had something in common already.

With a hum, Pandora walked the corridors. She had a slight bounce to her walk. She looked to her side and couldn't help but feel cold sweat running down her forehead as guilt wash over her. By the way all the students were sprawled on the ground, she could tell she ran her. She jolted in shock when one of her 'victim' shot her a glare followed by other recovering students. Pandora started sweating profusely and slowly bowed her head in an act of saying sorry. After a few seconds of that, Pandora bolted to the board. She skidded to halt when she went a little further than planned. When she looked around, she saw the board was still kind of crowded, amidst those crowds, Pandora saw someone she knew. "Hey Dren~" She called out as she neared him.

Dren was her friend [only in her mind, really]. She heard that he also caused a lot of destruction wherever he went. Hearing that, she immediately wanted to befriend him. She tried hard to but there were all futile. For some reason, she could never get to him. Once she tried to near him but then a teacher asked her to help him carry some stuff. Then she'd forget about him until she saw him again which wasn't usual. Sometimes, she has the opportunity but she decided to leave him be seeing he was mad and or preoccupied. Now was the time to greet her similarly destructive buddy. Nearing him, she looked seemingly oblivious to the danger that was soon to come. But mind you, she knew fully well this guy could easily burn her into crisps. Still, she put a rather convincing front. @NyxNightmare

She blinked as her roommate entered the dorm room. To her, he seemed quite shy, or at least flustered. She found him quite adorable, actually. His black hair, and big eyes. He was shorter obviously, as well. She smiled at the compliment given to her. "Thank you..." She mumbled. "My name is Violet Vendetta." She responded, then sat at her desk calmly. "Are you a conjuration and illusionist, as well?" She asked, as Jazmyne the black cat, jumped from her desk and towards Katsuo. Violet took her wand from her desk, and situated the chair so she could face him. "I delve in all magic, but Conjuration and Illusion are my favorites."

Andrew had finished unpacking, staring at the quiet little dorm. He decorated his room a little to suit his needs: Over his bed hung the flag of Zimonja. Though many considered it a traitors flag, Andrew wore it with pride, and would not have it anywhere else. His shelf was filled with various books, some with strange titles such as "Exploring the Spirit Realm" "The Destruction of the mage city of Xavior" "The Purity of Fire" "The History of the Arcane Warriors" and the titles went on. They were not fiction books, these were first hand accounts and history books.

Andrew placed the amulet on the table as he entered the kitchen. It was a love talisman, given to him by his older sister. He smiled as he remembered her giving it to him, but pushed the memory back. "No Andrew.......that'll only lead to pain......You'll give the bastards that killed her what's coming to them, just be patient...."Andrew said, putting pots and pans in the kitchen. There were the basic's in his dorm, but Andrew learned many different ways to cook during his two years travelling the human world. The one good thing about out there was that learning to cook was relatively easy. Andrew decided that he'd cook a meal for his new room-mate. He saw it was a guy that went by the name Lucien. He knew the family name, they were a predominant light user family. He'd no doubt that his name would be recognized as the 'Traitor Prince' but he figured that, if the man was worth anything, he could enjoy the meal he was making.

Opening the windows to the outside, taking a deep breath as he saw the school in front of him, Andrew swore to himself. "When I finish my schooling, this will be the only place I'll spare.....on that day, the entire city will feel the fury of my flame. "Andrew said, placing a number of potted plant's on the balcony. It was mainly cooking ingredient plants, so he didn't have to constantly buy them. He had money, but he knew he'd need it later in life, so he was trying to be careful.

Hearing a portal open, he smiled as he saw a skeleton carrying in stuff for the Meal. Quickly dispelling him back to the realm he was summoned from, Andrew looked at what he had to work with. It was T-bone steak, but Andrew was going to fix up his own as he went along. Along with it, he planned on adding Pasta, along with a couple of dinner rolls. It was a simple meal, but it was something Andrew had a taste for, for awhile now. Andrew just let the smell envelope the apartment.

(Yup, my guy can cook xD )

Lucian walked into school, his black hair wildly placed as he silently walked up to the bulletin board and looked it over. He'd missed the opening ceremony which he didn't care about, having heard it twice already a third or fourth time wasn't necessary. His eyes glanced over the board to find his roommate, Andrew Zimonja..? Ugh.. I hope I'm not stuck with someone loud and obnoxious.. The boy thought as he walked up to his room, many people avoiding contact with the dark destruction user. Walking inside the room he threw his stuff on the empty bed and silently sat down, crossing his legs he began meditating.

Calvin paid no attention to the opening ceremony. He never liked that kind of stuff, but all he wanted to do was to lay down and take a nap. Getting to this school was a pain, so he was just happy to be here. After some bored looking girls little speach he went over to look at the builtin board. Floor two, room 56, and his roommate was Kuro Kanashimi. Wait.... that's a girl! There must be a mistake... wait... some guys are also paired up with girls. Jeez this is some weird school.

A short walk later Calvin unlocked the door to his dorm, and slowly opened the door. Luckily he was the first one to arrive, but after taking a quick look into both the rooms he was unsure if it was proper to choose now, or wait for his roommate to get here. He chose the ladder, and awkwardly stood there, waiting for his roommate to arrive.

Bartram.

Bartram.

Standing a few feet away from the board Emil leaned forward slightly, taking advantage of his size to look over the shoulders of many of the more excited students. Yet his number wasn't anywhere to be found. The roommate wasn't such a big deal as much as the fact that he wanted to start moving his belongings into the room. Folding his arms he let out a sigh of frustration, finally stopping at a few select lines at that bottom that had been blacked out by a marker. Some of his "fans" must've gotten here before him. This all could have been avoided if he had the foresight to simply inquire about his room before the first day. Still, judging by some of the familiar names he actually did manage to spot he could take comfort in the fact that he avoided a bullet like that brute Aki.

As the general chatter around him increased Emil felt a wave of discomfort taking over as more students surrounded him. Personal space was important. Couldn't they wait just a moment longer? Now he had to fight his way past all of them, a challenge which he was certainly not looking forward to.

Feeling a figure bump into him from behind, Emil calmly looked over his shoulder to see Shizuka apologies and proceed to stare at the ground. Immediately he felt something; a sense of familiarity. Not quite the rush discovering a muse offered but even so it piqued his interest. He knew her from somewhere assuming it wasn't just his imagination running wild again. Staring silently toward her for a few seconds he then shook his head, snapping back to reality.

"It's fine. Your name, miss?" Emil asked abruptly, turning to face Shizuka. Shrugging a shoulder toward the board in an attempt to explain his intention, he idly looked at the crowd behind her. Much to his relief they seemed to be dispersing somewhat. At the very least he could use the excuse of assisting her to bide for time before trying to squeeze past everyone and make his way to the main office.

@Crimson Night

Shizuka felt the male in front of her turn his head in her direction. She noticed how he hesitantly stared at her. Was he not going to forgive her? His silence made her slightly nervous, but it turned out that he did not care much about a small bumping into. But, now the problem was him questioning her for her name. Shizuka looked up ever so slightly to catch a glimpse of his face. Her head slowly raised and the two made eye contact. Her calm and confident expression faded just as she did so, "Sh-Shizuka Kih-......" she stopped herself. It wouldn't be a good idea if she were to hint to everyone the eminence of her family name, especially if they had yet to recognize her. She repeated, "Shizuka," Shizuka noticed the movement of his shoulder signaling towards something. Her blue eyes shifted to the roommate assignment board assuming that is where he was either heading or got back from. Her gaze traveled back to the stranger before her. He seemed to be rather distracted as he wasn't exactly looking at her. She wanted to escape the clasps of the crowd surrounding them. But, she already tried making it through earlier, she might as well get this boy's name. Shizuka cleared her throat, "M-May I receive your name also?" She was being rather formal, but who could blame her? If she ever talked in any other way than this, she would most likely get punished and receive a beating. Shizuka pulled a few strands from her face and left it to lie behind her ear. Just before her hands returned to her sides, she fixed a rather strange locket upon her neck while revealing a hidden marking on the side of her neck.

Katsuo saw how she took his compliment well and she seemed kind of comfortable with him in his eyes. He silently congratulated himself on the inside. His eyes slightly scanned the female as she spoke. He remained at the doorway a bit surprised by her question. She too used the two types of magic he was best at. The cat caught him off guard as she leaped in his direction, but his quick reflexes managed to grab the cat mid-jump swiftly. There was a big smile upon his face as he responded to Violet, "Yeah! I specialize in both those magics!" He was rather excited as how they had more in common by the minute. Relationships like this never lasted long with him, but he enjoyed it as much as he could. His attention was taken back by the cat in his arms. Katsuo always had a way with animals ever since he was a child. He held Jazmyne gently as his hand pet the furry animal. Not only did he have a way with all animals, but he has tamed very powerful and high class creatures before. Something like that could tend to be harder compared to only befriending something as small as a cat. Katsuo's intentions to flirt with Violet were long forgotten as he stared at Jazmyne.

Andrew continued fixing the meal, placing the pasta (with grated mozzarella cheese on top) in the oven. Wiping his hands clean, he placed the steak on a pan, closing his eyes as he heard the sizzle. "You never get tired of that sound....."He said, as he held up his hands, and recanted a summoning spell. "Darkest night falls from the skies, the unliving thrive as all the light dies, I release you from the bonds of your demise, by my black hand, the dead shall rise. " Andrew finished. Soon, a skeleton appeared, quickly standing upright in front of it's summoner. Soon, the skeletal being would be at the stove, making sure it was being cooked properly. Andrew always liked the skeleton he summoned: He performed his duties most efficiently.

Clearing off the counters, making sure there was no mess minus the stuff on the counter near the stove, Andrew proceeded to walk over to his dorm-mates room. He heard him walk in, though he assumed he was either 1. Tired, or 2. Busy. Knocking on his book shelf near his bed, before stepping in, Andrew would simply bow his head to him, as form of respect. "Hello there. I assume you'll be my dorm-mate for the foreseeable future?.....the food shall be done in 30 minutes. I hope you like steak and baked mostaccioli. "Andrew said, keeping his conversation brief. He knew that his dorm-mate probably knew his name from the board, so there was no need for that. Andrew simply walked out, and headed to check on the plants.

Andrew had grabbed a few marked water-bottle from his pack, and was pouring it into the plants. He used the water bottles mainly to give the plants the nutrient filled water they needed, since each plant needed something different (as they grew in different places in the world). Nodding at them, he returned to the kitchen, to oversee the meal.

Lucian, upon hearing the voice of his dorm mate simply nodded his head. He appreciated the meal, but doubt he'd be coming out of his side of the room before midnight. It wasn't meant to be rude, he just wasn't going to be hungry until that time and even then the boy might not eat the home cooked meal. It was sort of a custom of his, feed off the darkness of the full moon of the first day of the school year. It kept him, well, him. Thank you, I appreciate your actions. He thought, his inner voice drifting outwards to project to the other male in the other room. He then opened his eyes for a moment, and looked at his surroundings. Normal room.. Just like the years before.

After the incident with being rudely shoulder checked, Dren had planted himself against a wall. It would be troublesome to be run into again. Most troublesome. With his earbuds fit snuggly in, Dren had continued to feel the peace before the storm so to say. That is, exactly what it was as a voice pecked at his invisible forcefield. If only he had been granted with such powers it would make being uninterrupted a hell of a lot easier.

With his left hand, Dren irritably removed one of the earbuds, glancing over to see who had called him; in such a happy-go-lucky sort of way at that. Disgusting...this day was not starting off well for him. The voice seemed to belong to someone slightly familiar. Had he seen this girl around before? Yet, more importantly why was she speaking to him? Idiot....In a irritable tone he replied, "Who are you addressing so casually?? "His eyes stared into hers. He raised his arm up and flicked her forehead. " You're too close." Dren warned. However, at that closer glance his eyes widened ever so slightly with curiosity. "Oh, you are the girl that destroyed bits of the school." He blinked a few times, gazing at her long hair, wondering if he should singe it before letting out a soft sigh, he would give her a little time for now. Most men probably found her cute, yet that wasn't the way Dren's mind worked per say.

"Please tell me your stealing my time for a good reason?" @InternalAssumpter

Karelyn had been doing this for three years and it’s always the same stupid speeches the only difference is the people that speak and how they spoke. Karelyn was outside of the auditorium, leaned against a wall with her makeshift hood pulled over her head. She was waiting for the dull speech to be over and the girl speaking sounded like some drone not much emotion at all and sounded like she was miserable. “If you’re really that miserable just go jump from the city limits or something” she muttered lowly, her comment drawing attention from a couple of admins walking the halls to which she would just roll her eyes. Her body pushed away from the wall as the speech had finally ended now she just had to get through the rabble and get her roommate assignment.

So many students, all probably stupid kids who were scoped out long ago by the academy and taken in…sure ‘saved from the deadly world below’ what a load of bull. That’s just to keep the public happy…safe and sound in their giant floating city while countless people are down on earth risking their lives in the war with the supernatural. She wondered what these kids thought of the outside world and also wondered how many of them were raised in this city.

Soon a bunch of students rushed towards the door and Karelyn would just barely dodge them, her body grazing their overly excited demeanor. Slowly she makes her way towards the hub where the other students gathered. ”Damn…this is going to take forever…” she thinks to herself before planting her back on a wall near the billboard with the information. “Seriously…they haven’t thought of a better way of handling this?” she complains to herself before sighing and leaning her head back. Her eyes moved across the crowd, spotting a guy leaning against the wall and there was some girl there too. ”Guess I’m not the only one who’s done this before…” she thought as a small smile tugs at her lips. The guy looked very annoyed…like he didn’t enjoy socializing with the girl. ”Tch…what an ass…” she murmured and checked on the crowd of students.

"Who are you addressing so casually?? "

Pandora wasn't going to lie. She wanted to run when he looked at her. She was scared but her face betrayed nothing as her face continued to be in it's grinning form. She was well aware he dislikes girls. That took away a point already. She wasn't about to take another point away by being cowardly and weak. She knows how he is. She has been
stalking observing him for 3 years now.

" You're too close."

That caught her off guard. Only a few seconds later did she felt the mild pain on her forehead. She honestly didn't expect him to flick her forehead. Burn? Yes. Severely injure? Sure but not a simple flick. Either way, she was very grateful. She was about to speak when he cut her off.

"Oh, you are the girl that destroyed bits of the school."

Pandora sweat dropped at the words. She really didn't want to remember that. It was weird, shameful moment in her life which she rather not dwell in. "I'm Pandora Baron. It's a pleasure to meet a f...fine fellow as yourself, Dren Stratus." She introduced with a slight bow of her head. She restrained herself from saying 'fellow destructive buddy'. She didn't want to die just yet. Besides, it was quite rude to say that.

"Please tell me you're stealing my time for a good reason?"

"Merde..." She cursed softly, at the same time hoping he didn't understand her. Pandora went tense. In all actuality, she just went to him because there was finally an opening to do so. She started to feel cold sweat running down her forehead but she quickly remained calm. Not now. She can't act like a coward now. At least not until she gave a positive first impression to this guy. "It depends on the person really. I just came here to introduce myself. I've been meaning to for awhile. You're abilities greatly intrigues me." Pandora was amazed with herself. She was able to pull that sentence off without a stutter. Another achievement done. As she looked at him, her gaze wandered to the side and saw another, what she presumes, student. She gave a soft smile and a small nod. Not too noticeable but still polite.

Fine fellow? Intrigued?? You have got to be kidding me. Dren blinked, his eyes failed to waver from the sight of this girl. Pandora was her name? What an unusual one. Yet he surprisingly liked the sound of it. It reminded him of the myth of Pandora's box. He chuckled coolly. "Honestly?" Is she some sort of fan girl? Whatever. He could see her shaking a bit earlier, and it amused him. "Nice to meet you." His tone was sarcastic. How long was this girl going to bother him? Would she be in most of his classes as well? Ah, well he had to give her props for her own skills. As sweat began dripping down her forehead he tilted his head. "Eh...are you okay...?" His voice actually switched from harsh to curiosity, improvement? For him anyways.

Jut when he figured his day couldn't get any worse, Dren faintly heard a foreign voice not too far off. An ass....He tried not to, but it really got underneath his skin. Who was she to make such a remark? Most comments didn't phase the man, but for some reason this time was different. Perhaps it was the being shoulder checked in the hallway? Who knew really.

His hair cast over his eyes and in a few moments he was engulfed in flames. "What was that?!!" He slammed his fist back against the wall, a spark of flames releasing. "If you have something to say, try saying it to my damn face!" Dren set his right hand in front of himself and flames erupted from his palm and danced through the halls, turning the hallway into a crisp as it headed towards the girl who had murmured. Several on-lookers rolled around on the floor, cursing themselves for being anywhere near Dren. Even flames filled his pupils. I really hate women....
