Sepokku
A Menace
In order to assist in the apprehending of criminals, the NCPD, and most police forces around the world use a category system to classify parahumans. This power classification system generally denotes a type of power and how dangerous it is to the general public. The ratings of all PCs will range from 1-10, and PCs can have more than one classification if their power is flexible, or if they have several. A 1 denotes a power that places you just above the average human, and a 10 denotes that a specialized operation will probably be needed to take that Super down. For more information on how classifications work, please see the wiki. The power categories are as follows:
Mover - Enhanced movement
Shaker - Ability with an area of effect
Brute - Enhanced strength/durability
Breaker - Able to shift into another state (Breaker form)
Tinker - Creates futuristic /advanced technology
Blaster - Long-ranged offensive ability
Thinker - Ability focused on information gathering/manipulation
Striker - Melee / touch-oriented ability
Changer - Able to change form or appearance
Trump - Able to manipulate other powers
Master - Capable of controlling others or creating minions
Stranger - Stealth or infiltration-focused
Many Supers choose to register with an agency, though not all. Generally speaking, the funding, protection, and connections that various groups provide outweigh the drawbacks they may bring with them. The MegaCorporations in particular find Supers of valuable use, augmenting them with whatever cyber ware they can before sending them out as enforcers.
