The world just isn't fun without a little chaos.
"There are two opponents in every battle two opponents who share the same life, if one is too strong, find the weaker link"
1.For each human, a unique tulpa in accordance with their wishes.
2. If the human host dies, its tulpa shall die to, and vice versa.
3. A tulpas life span is short, but can be extended by absorbing their fellow tulpa in a duel.
4. During a duel the tulpa and the human share the same life, and the former will lose their immortality.
5. Duels cannot be reject, but in exchange the receiving end will unconsciously choose the space limits of the duel.
6. This competition will end when only one and their conscious tulpa remains, who will then be rewarded with humanity and it's wish.
Those were the six things that were scripted onto the Monolith, no one knows how or when it appeared as most people would give different answers on when they have noticed it. What is known is that ever since its appearance the Kingdom Of Vuira has went into a complete crisis, as many people began to disappear along with ever animal in the Nation. Ever since the Monoliths appearance leaving the nation has became impossible and any one who attempted would typically have their body found at the border or on the coast. So why not get rid of the monolith itself? well attempts have been made but they all ended in failure, as any tools used against it don't even make a dent in it, and it seems that it's not even possible to use magic once you are near it, even going under or over it has proved futile as there is seemingly has no end to it. At this point has become clear now that life has changed and although many humans have disappeared, in their place tulpas have begun to appear. What is a tulpa one might wonder? well long ago tulpas were a thing of legend something that only the best mages in history could ever even think about bringing forth, a new and independent being made from the subconscious mind of a person, a body with its own free will one that looks just like a regular person and are basically indistinguishable from humans expect for one thing, their immortality. Shoot them they'll bleed like any but will eventually rise up after while, poison? that will simply knock them out for a while but they will eventually wake up as if they were having a simple nap, cut them to pieces and they will just re-appear right around the corner and their previous body will just dissolve into thin air. So how does one get rid of a Tulpa then? well there are three ways one you kill their human host, two you wait for their time to run out which will cause both them and their human host to die, or three you could challenge them to a duel in which case the Tulpas immortality will be forfeit until the duel is completed, during these duels both the tulpa and their human host will share the same life, now what do I mean by share the same life you may ask well what I mean is that any damage delt to a Tulpa will be split between both them and their host and vice versa killing one of them will kill both of them. With all this being said surely the Vuira government must be doing something to keep order right? well quite a number of government officials have disappeared and the ones that are left aren't really trusted, after all most people by now have Tulpas and their Tulpas need to absorb other Tulpas in order to extend their life, with that in mind many people wouldn't be very trusting of one another since most people want to survive after all and as the monolith for their rule number 6. This competition will end when only one and their conscious tulpa remains, who will then be rewarded with humanity and it's wish.
Magic
In this world magic is quite common, both Humans and Tulpas are capable of magic, Magic is just like a extension of your body just like how you are able to move your arms and control your breath with just a thought, magic is the ability to consciously manipulate your own aura which can be projected into objects around you, or even yourself resulting in all kinds of effects or it can be even be used to create new matter. However utilizing magic takes energy almost in the same way exercise would take up energy though it would typically be more exhausting and although anyone can use any kind of magic if they work hard enough though they would typically need to have at least a innate understanding of whatever they are creating weather that be energy, items or matter.
Duels
As stated by the rules on the Monolith and the intro duels cannot be turned down in exchange the person who was challenged gets to set the boundaries for the duel, during a duel a tulpa will lose it's immortality and they will share a life with their host making all damage that each other them receives split between one another. There are many ways and different types of strategies for approaching duels but most tend to simply go for the human host as the Tulpas are usually physically superior compared to their human counter parts.
