Sigh ... trying to come up with a good earth name for my character ... but their Chinese nature is being difficult.

Look up chinese baby names online, i find it helpful and usually they include the meaning to them.

I finally found one. I added a link to the Avatar fan site random name generator. They have named by Kingdom / tribe.

well, got my character partially posted. Gotta work up some timeline as I was going to tie his background in with Varrik and Zhu Li.

No worries. I have a partial CS up myself. Been binge watching Legend of Korra again. Almost through season 4. Man I forgot how messed up Varrik was ... lol. But he developed a conscience in the end.

1 & 2 were awesome. I got kind of lost in 3, but figured it out.
And what happened to season 4??!?! When did giant robot become a good ide?!?!

Not so sure my new Bending types are the best, but I was trying to draw from the changing views of the world. There was a time when people thought space was filled with aether.
And agreed. The technology changed way too fast. That is partly what killed the show. They were bowing to social issues. Personally I thought 3 and 4 were messed up too.
I really don't like the tech being so advanced myself. I was aiming for more of a 1950's post WWII era. (And I still don't get the whole platinum as armor thing. lol .. Platinum in LoK was about 1 million times more than in our world.)
