Yes, I completely understand. As for the instant messengers.. do you happen to have kik? If not, which ones do you have?Dember said:@Kestrel
Haha, they're not mine! We do keep in touch with their owners though. Only my Raiya girl belongs to me. Rye-pie is best dog. : D
@Avity
It's nice to meet you, Grace - and absolutely, I would love to! Do you happen to have any instant messengers? I can message you my contact info if so - that's where I would start up a conversation and begin getting to know you, and potentially plan out a future role play.
Please don't be intimidated - I've been role playing for years but most of that time, I was godawful, I will shamelessly confess, haha. It's only been the past few years I've really worked on improving the quality of my writing skills, and even now I'd still really only consider myself "above average" at best - decent enough, but nowhere near as good as I'd like to be.
It's a passion of mine and I do take it seriously, but at the same time it is a hobby I engage in for fun and entertainment, so I do kind of dread it when it becomes a chore from overly demanding partners that expect a published novel for every reply.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, I have standards and I won't role play with people who put forth only minimal effort - but I'm not downright anal like some, nor an elitist by any means either. = )
Tbh, it would be a lie if I said "No, I don't have Skype," but it's probably not wise for me to use it due to various reasons.Dember said:@Avity
Unfortunately I don't - but even if I did, I don't think I could really endure putting up with strictly cell phone texting to communicate...the whole purpose of IMs is convenience after all, haha.
Do you have AIM, Skype or Trillian, by chance? They're all free as far as programs and apps go, and you can use them right from the websites themselves as well. : D

I suppose you wouldn't change your mind about strictly cell phone texting? Well, I wouldn't blame you. I agree that IM's are made for convenience, but unfortunately, they just aren't quite as convenient in my case.

False! This is the best dog:Dember said:lol, I can't blame you there - they're some pretty awesome dogs. I wouldn't trade my girl for the most valuable show-winner in the world though, she really is the best dog.
For some reason, it wouldn't let me reply to your latest post, so yeah... that's why my reply is on this thread instead, lol.Dember said:@Kestrel

Goodness gracious, I completely misunderstood you. My bad! So yes, I believe Skype would be perfect for the job. Would you rather give me your info via PM (I'll have it by the end of today), or...?
Where did you get him? We got ours from a breeder in South Dakota. She's 8 or 9.Dember said:Oh, I have one of those too! Looks almost identical actually, haha. He just turned 9 years old. : D He's my best bud. Far from the best dog - he was an absolute hellion and still actively gets into all sorts of mischief. But he's my boy.

Oh, ok. I was wondering if they could be related, or from the same breeder, since they look so similar, and are close in age.Dember said:
Your girl is gorgeous!
We got my boy in Placerville in northern California, way back in 2007 - back when he weighed all of 19.2 pounds (compared to 91 now) and looked like this! : D

Ok, then. Inali is the perfect blend of her parents. Her mom was white with blue eyes, and her dad was marked like her, but darker. He had brown eyes.Dember said:
Haha, nope - we keep in touch with all of the pups from my boy's litter - and actually, none of them look much like him. His parents were only bred the one time.
They're Siberian Huskies, of course they look alike! : D

Pretty!! I don't have pics of her parents.Dember said:
Nova's mom wasn't a purebred husky by any means, but I think he took after his dad who was. c:
