I wrote these a long time ago so they may be badly written.

Designer Babies:

Beauty is one thing that more and more people become obsessed with over the years. It started debatably in the early 20th century when the commercial revolution took off and advertisements featured physically perfect people. This carried on to things such as movies, TV shows, and basically everywhere where something needed to be advertised. The idea behind it was if these immaculate human beings are promoting my product or service, more people might be drawn to it. Well what happens when the world has become so obsessed with beauty that they take it upon themselves to change their offspring's genetic DNA information so that they are born as beautiful as possible? Even the most subtle of flaws can point out that someone was not a designer baby. And unfortunately, in this society being ugly is a social embarrassment.

Being a designer baby has it's advantages far beyond physical appearance. Any flaws in your DNA, such as illness, cancer and disease are erased. You are destined to live a perfectly healthy life. Not that there isn't exceptions, but it is a general rule.

Of course not everyone can afford to make their child a designer baby. It's expensive! But when people are divided into categories such as natural babies and designer babies, the world becomes much more lonely. Especially to those who are stuck up, who refuse to cooperate and communicate with someone who isn't as attractive as them or with someone who thinks they are better than everyone just because they were designed perfect. Racism and sexism is no longer an issue. But that doesn't mean that the people aren't more divided than ever.

Basically the idea behind this is that some characters are going to be designer babies and some are going to be natural babies. They will be rivals, maybe fall in love, etc. Someone who is literate is preferred for this plot because I'm really excited about it since I think it could be a lot of fun!
Fabletown:

This plot is based off of the comic book series published by DC Comics called โ€œFables.โ€ I believe it has tons of potential.

Fairy tales are real. Beauty and the Beast, the Princess and the Frog, The Little Mermaid, The Three Little Pigs, Red Riding Hood, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, all of them. However, thanks to Disney and other media outlets, over time their stories have been greatly diluted and made to be more child friendly. These characters come from a dark and gritty past. For example, the Woodsman who saved Red Riding isn't actually a good guy. He's a hero in his story, but he was planning on robbing Red's grandma for weeks. When he finally built up the courage to break in he saw that the Wolf had eaten her and her granddaughter. He chopped open the Wolf hoping he would get some kind of reward.

These Fables have been kicked out of their homelands by the Adversary, a very powerful group that was able to take the homeland before the Fables could realize they were a real threat. They were forced to migrate to the Bronx and unfortunately most of them had to leave behind their fortunes and the luxurious life they once had. Now being in the city they would have to find a way to make end's meet. Desperate for work, some of our beloved princes and princesses become prostitutes, drug dealers, and criminals.

Fables have their own government and must stay hidden from the mundies (AKA regular human beings like you and I.) Their government tries to help them the best they can, but there's only so much that they can handle at the same time. This government is small as sometimes two or three people are trying to find a way to keep order amongst dozens of other Fables. As you can imagine, itโ€™s a wreck. This is why some have to turn to illegal means so that they can survive in New York without going homeless and hungry.

Fables are not as fragile as human beings. They live thousands of years and can take far more abuse including being shot, being hit bluntly in the head, and sometimes the severing of limbs. This is why, like in Red Riding Hood, characters like the Big Bad Wolf were able to survive in their stories. Of course there are Fables who have a human form. The Three Little Pigs, the Seven Dwarves, Beast, and the toads from Diamonds and Toads. These fables must have a glamour, a spell made by a witch that disguises them as human. If they don't have a glamour they will be sent to The Farm which is a place on the outskirts of the city where they are not allowed to leave. However, these glamours can be expensive which gives even more incentive to acquire them illegally. Most trained witches work for the government of Fabletown, but some make cheap glamours to sell on the black market.

Creative Ideas:

  • Couples who lived โ€œhappily ever afterโ€ are now split up because one cheated or because they fell out of love after hundreds of years of marriage.
  • Couples who lived โ€œhappily ever afterโ€ have fallen out of love but have not broken up. This may lead to affairs with other characters.
  • Couples who lived โ€œhappily ever afterโ€ are broken up because one of the Fables in the relationship have passed away.
  • Your beloved princesses turn to prostitution to make ends meet.
  • An ex villain has turned good and tries to redeem themselves in the new world of Fabletown.
  • A Fable has become a political activist that hates the government of Fabletown and wants to see it burn.
  • A Fable (or Fable couple) longs for the luxurious life they once had so they turn to illegal activity to fund their expensive tastes.
  • A Fable is a serial killer who preys on other Fables, enjoying the hunt since Fables are so difficult to murder.
  • A Fable works for the government of Fabletown and is either corrupt or genuinely believes in protecting the other Fables.
  • A Fable is a serial arsonist and enjoys watching buildings burn
  • A Fable takes advantage of the mundies and lives off of seducing human women (or men).
  • A Fable struggles to pay for their expensive glamours.
  • A Fable is a witch who brews glamours illegally to sell on the black market.
  • Two Fables who are polar opposites fall in love.
  • Two Fables have a rivalry for any reason what-so-ever.
  • A Fable is secretly having an LGBT romance with another character.
  • Iโ€™m running out of ideas, there are endless possibilities though! Old characters, new twist!

I will be making a list of ties/relationships between characters right before we start. This will keep people from getting confused about who knows who, who hates who, etc. I want every character to have one tie to at least one of everyone elseโ€™s characters. But if thatโ€™s not possible we can make the ties/relationships as the RP continues on. If someone wants to have some kind of tie/relationship (for example if someone wants to be Beauty but there is no Beast) then I will be glad to take up a third character!

Here is an archive to all the characters that appear in the comic books in case you are having trouble with coming up with something:

Life is Beautiful:

Pretty much everywhere in the world street art is considered illegal. You can be fined hundreds of thousands of dollars for vandalism and can even go to prison for many years. If there is so much risk to just paint a few walls and slap a few stickers where they aren't supposed to be, why do people do it? Why is there constantly people going out of there way to perform illegal activity, especially since all their hard work is likely to be erased the very next day?

Art can mean so much to so many people. It can be valueless, it can be valuable, and it can even be priceless. It all depends on who the eye of the beholder is as every piece can have a different interpretation. The motivation behind the art for some is to get famous and for some it is express their creativity. But what really matters is that the art will live on. Many pieces that are crafted on the streets, painted and glued onto walls the artists don't own, get erased. Some artists can only hope for a special someone who could document it all so that it isn't lost forever. Unlike Warhol and Van Gogh, this art isn't being preserved in museums and being sprayed with special agents to prevent decay. It's being painted over, stickers being scrubbed from the walls, and their artistic integrity being insulted by police.

One night Muse A is tagging. They are an infamous artist and some enjoy their pieces, some thinking it's just stupid vandalism. Muse B is a little camera happy. They film everything, being them shopping at a grocery store or enjoying a family party. They NEVER leave home without a camera. When they discover Muse A doing their work they are ecstatic and begin filming them as they have been an avid fan. Muse A hates this and asks not to be filmed rather rudely. Muse B convinces Muse A that they need someone like them to document their work. Muse A gives in and they spend many long nights together tagging and recording the art. Finally a question arises as Muse A wonders why Muse B even records things all the time. Honestly, Muse B has no straight forward answer. Finally Muse B decides to make a documentary on street art. With their months of footage and their eagerness to add more to their library, Muse B embarks on a journey around the world filming as many street artists as possible to capture the meaning behind it all. While this is happening the popularity of Muse A increases tremendously as they put on art shows where they can legally display their work.

Optional:

- Muse A and Muse B fall in love

- There can be multiple taggers or multiple people behind the film crew (More characters more complicated plot)

- Muse B can become an artist as well and Muse A (along with other artists) have a problem with it because their art is just an emulation and not stylistically original.

- Muse B creates an artistic piece and Muse A steals the credit for it.

- Muse B never finishes the documentary.

- Muse B finishes the documentary and Muse A hates it.

It is kind of like the series 'Once Upon a Time' :3

It will work as a 1x1 if we play 3+ characters!

Once Upon A Time is actually a rip off of Fables! The creator of Fables was trying to get it made into a TV show but ABC told them it wouldn't do well. So instead they made that show and gave no credit lol
