New, returning to roleplay.

Hey, I tend to be called Caterina or Cat by people on the internet. I've only recently gotten back into the idea of roleplaying and would like to find a good roleplay partner or two. I'm pretty easy to get along with and willing to talk over communications if need be. (Skype, TeamSpeak, etc.) I'm also willing to try just about any genre but I'm most familiar with Sci-Fi, Modern and Fantasy. I keep my content at 17+ on violence and gore and stay PG with anything else. ^^ If you'd like to know anything else, don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome to roleplay nation! I'm Akira I tend to roleplay in the fandom or fantasy areas. I hope you enjoy it here at roleplay nation

Hey! I'm new to rpnation too. I used to roleplay on instagram and kik and then lost my account due to a hacker so I only then roleplayed with a friend I had and she has decided to not roleplay anymore so I'm trying to get back into it now! I'd be interested in roleplaying one on one with you if you want!

Hey, sorry for the possibly delayed reply. I was stuck in some games of LoL. Yes! I'm very interested. I'm sorry about your circumstances, however. It's always such a bummer when your RP partner no longers has the desire to roleplay.

It's fine! I most definitely did not expect an immediate response so totally fine. Yeah it is upsetting, I still talk to her, she just no longer has the interest in carrying on the characters. I can pm you if you'd like to plan out a rp there?

I understand that. I went through the same phase. Some times life just gets in the way and such, y'know? Yes, that's fine. Do you have character sheets?

Hey, welcome to RPnation! I'm new too! ^_^ I do realistic, fantasy, and scifi myself for roleplays, though on my separate writings I typically do "tea-time horror" stories, aka soft horror. Nice to meet ya!

Horror, huh? I've never actually tried that but it'd be pretty fun to attempt, I'm sure. Also, welcome to you and nice to meet you as well!

Really? Just from how you introduced yourself, I figured it would be right up your alley- at least the "in your face" Western-styled horror. As I said, I am more of a soft horror writer- like suspense that actually ends with something other than your sad character looking out the window and into the graveyard, or something like that.

Haha, really? Well, I put 17+ on violence simply because my main multiverse character is a half-demon and depending on how the roleplay goes, she can either actively use that for something along the lines of killing or simply as a fault that interferes in other ways. I got'cha. That sounds pretty interesting. I had the opportunity to write a suspense story for a college assignment and was actually pretty pleased, if that helps at all.

They're still asking for suspense stories in college? *sigh* Personally, I think they're the easiest things to do, besides romance. Heck, I was writing teen fiction when I was six! :P

It was some sort of vocabulary exercise. It was pretty pathetic, to be honest, but I did better at forming a plot than I thought I would. Scream is a pretty good movie for inspiration on that genre. ^^; I agree 100%.

Cool, though honestly in terms of horror, I'd say The Krowe (or however you spell it) and Battle Royale to be the best for inspiration. If you haven't seen those movies, I suggest them.

I'll definitely check them out. Thank you.

Check out what happened to the main actor in the first one I mentioned. Now THAT'S some real horror!
