New Printing of the Dragon Blooded book

According to the White Wolf RSS News Feed they are proofing for a new print run on the Dragon Blooded book.

I quote: "Uploading Manual of Exalted Power: Dragon-Blooded for reprint and proofing that"

Was there a lot of errors in that book (I haven't got it yet) that needed fixing, cause they don't usually make a point about proofing reprints?

I heard that MoEP: DB was riddled with errors since the book was being developed simultaneously with the 2E core.

MoEP: Dragon-Blooded have a lot of mistakes because it was developed at the same time as the charm and combat rules.

If they need to proof it, then my guess is that a reprint, not a rewrite, in this case means correcting keywords, cost... for charms, maybe adjusting a charm here and there, and not starting from the beginning to write a 2E Dragon-Blooded charmset.

From my understanding, they had to get a huge print run of the core book (from China) to get the cost down to where it was worth importing, where as the DB book (printed in Canada, like most White Wolf books) was a more normal sized print run, and thus ran out faster.

I think this is why there are so many promotions for the core. They are trying to run out the print run so they can either 1) get a corrected print run with some errata done or 2) do the next print in Canada where the binding might be better. Or maybe even the US where some of our citizens could use the jobs.

Do we get a copy of the reprint if we throw our old copy to the face of that bastard who stole our bucks when we bought it ?

Sadly, no. Does make me glad that my Exalted 2e Collection is kinda small still, as I can wait on some of this stuff.

This reprint is good news for a friend of mine. She's been hunting for a copy of the 2e book and hasn't been able to find one anywhere, except for a very overpriced copy on e-bay. NOw she'll be able to add it to her collection at a reasonalbe price.
