Hello! Not the main thread, per se. New Oasis has several concurrent, running roleplays (Academy, Thirteen Peaks, Cosmic Crusaders, and Moonshot). This is the first one, but it's not a prerequisite to participate in any of the others (i.e., Moonshot)

With that said, you're welcome to join both!

Hmmmm... I'm not sure... I'm torn between Scarlet Phoenixes or Sable Serpents, but I'm leaning to Scarlet Phoenix.

A bit, yeah! They maintain a sort of peace over their District, but that doesn't make them necessarily any less criminal than the other 3
