He always wears his uniform neatly according to regulation, to the T.

Personality
./ Since his youth, Rollo never held back a single ounce of effort. Whether it was studying, sports, or just making friends, he couldn’t help but demand excellence from himself. Almost hand-in-hand with this, he’s a stickler for the rules. You’d have a hard time trying to catch him out of regs for even a split second. Codes and laws are like a holy text for him, and he is like their paragon. He recognizes hard work and is extremely proud when his crew excels in its tasks.

Background
./ Rollo Valentine was raised by his parents in a small town near the capital of the Lunaran homeworld. He stood out amongst his peers growing up, excelling in academic and athletic pursuits with ease. After finishing his secondary schooling he had plans to become a biomedical engineer and work for the Lunar Council. He also wanted to marry his partner at the time, but neither of those things would come to pass. Rollo was selected by the Elder Yuki of the Seer Division serving the Lunar Council to attend the Solymus Intergalactic Academy and become a legionnaire. For Lunarans being selected to attend the academy is a great honor, legionnaires are viewed as heroic protectors of the intergalactic pack, but it's a double edged sword. It's Lunaran custom to serve life long terms as legionnaires, which usually results in extremely long periods of time away from Lycaon and its moon's.

Rollo was grief stricken upon hearing the news. His family and friends shed bittersweet congratulatory tears as they prepared for him to leave them. Though saddened at the turn of events, Rollo bounced back eager to prove himself worthy of the nomination, putting all of his effort into his newfound studies and friends. His hard work paid off earning himself the distinguished title of "Honor Graduate."

Racial Abilities: Lunarans have extremely potent regenerative and transformative capabilities. Though the latter are usually mitigated through the use of stabilizing drugs during space travel. Rollo specifically has senses that are quite stronger than that of a human.



Skillset: Rollo still has a decent bit of knowledge in regards to biotechnology due to his aspirations before becoming a legionnaire and the necessity of having a stabilizing rig. He’s also quite light on his feet, making him quite good at all sorts of acrobatics, athletics, and sneaking about.

./ An absolute giant of fine-tuned hard machinery and sophisticated hydraulic actuators facilitating keen, precise movement, this behemoth is Andrais Sharr, head of security, fulfilling the Sentinel role with a devotion and care unseen by his predecessors. His monolithic stature of black-grey titanium alloy, silver-blue composites make him uniquely suited to the position. A brass-trimmed bastion of midnight blue lights and accents, a beacon to his legionnaires, come to him: be safe beneath his bulwark.

He also has a taste for snazzy coats.

Personality
./ Sharr is a stern-hearted, calculating pragmatist. Determined to the point of single-mindedness towards his goals and duties. He is protective of his crew, while also being unapologetic in his judgments of them (a standard quietly applied to himself as well). Blunt, but not incapable of white-lying. In contrast to his position, he is not above bending the rules when the needs are exceptionally dire. He is also proud, confidant and coupled with his baritone voice gives the impression of being hubristically obtuse.

Background
./ Born to an upper-class family on the planet of Ao-5, Andrais Sharr had been the disappointing son - the black sheep, the skidmark that stained his family's honour, dignity, and pride. A perpetual school-flake, Sharr preferred to slack off and engage in activities that interested him. Parties, heavy-drinking, gambling. He was the epitome of the recalcitrant jock. It got so bad that he was caught slinging dope to his peers, although the charges quietly disappeared in thanks to his family's filial nepotism in the police force. However, there would be consequences.

Sharr was forcefully enlisted with his planet's defense force. The hope was that they would fill down his deplorable aspects, however, the practice simply emboldened the meathead. He had learned new tricks, new unsavoury friends, and new vices. In fact, he even had a penchant for the life. Being shipped off to exotic locales with tropical delights suited the man just fine, even if he had to shoot at an insurgent or freedom fighter from time to time. He leered at the opportunities with a craving desire. Gun-smuggling was just one of the crimes that could've gotten him court martial'd.

One day, however, the arrogant Sharr had been partaking in an older pleasure of his. In a swanky, third-world country casino, he was riding high on luck with this particular roulette wheel and its hostess. Yet just as the ceramic chips smacked the grid-laden table, an explosion bulged and ripped apart the scene. An IED homespun by a terrorist sent shrapnel and kinetic force into Sharr's body. His knees bent backwards, shrapnel littered his thighs like confetti, one side of his abdomen was simply gone, while the face became unrecognizable. That was not the only explosion, a second, then third, then a fourth rippled the lobby, the offices, the main slot area. A fire broke out. It took first responders hours to break through the collapsed entrance.

At the end, Sharr had been an unsalvageable gore-heap of bones, muscle, and meat. It was a miracle that he survived, but he'd be forever damned to a cripple's life. If he woke up from the coma, that is.

Unaware of their son's devilish dealings, the family bankrupted themselves to fund his recuperation. A series of extensive operation turning him more machine than man. He awoke three years after the incident with his new lease on life. Recognizing the miracle for what it is, Sharr devoted himself to paying off his debt. To his family and seeking repentance for the sinful life he led.

He was presented with an opportunity in the Solymus Intergalactic Academy, a chance to redeem himself. To wash his soul free from the stain of sin. He buried himself in his studies with the determination of a jackhammer. Quiet, dutiful, punctual like his colleague-legionnaires. Distinguishing himself with the title of honour graduate, a single digit among many - another cog in the machine.

A profound sense of irony dawned on him when he learned of his assignment. A former criminal, in all but name, transporting criminals.

./ Ao-5 is like many human dominated worlds, but due to an atmospheric radiation, certain humans have purple irises. A recessive trait on par with blue eyes. [optional]
Combat Arsenal
./ Weapon | Disruptor Pistol: All legionnaires receive a standard issued disruptor pistol with three settings: stun, pacify, kill.

./ Weapon | The LAV-SA, an internally suppressed, short-barreled rifle. It fires subsonic rounds, able to penetrate light armor after the second shot whilst maintaining acceptable noise suppression. It features a collapsible stock for ease of transport. It is entirely ineffective against higher grade armor or thick cover.

./ Weapon-Cybernetic | Auto Elite, a selector-fire pistol housed in an alcove on Sharr's left thigh. It is a long-barreled implement, used for self-defense or as a weapon for minor skirmishes. It can fire in semi-automatic or three-round bursts. Its rubberized grips are molded to fit snug in Sharr's robotic hands, while the bottom of the magazine well features an interfacing component so that Sharr can reload by nearing the pistol, magazine-base facing his thigh.

./ Weapon-Cybernetic | Electric Baton, a melee weapon fitted into an arm-sheath in his right arm. It is rapidly deployable and able to produce an electric field which can pacify or neutralize its targets. It is sturdy enough to withstand being swung around by Sharr and resistant to cutting.

./ Weapon-Cybernetic | Shark-teeth, a cybernetic modification on both of Sharr's knuckles, he can produce two inch spikes from hidden compartments in the knuckles. They can electrify themselves to provide additional oomph to his strikes.


Inventory / Tools:

./ Tool-Cybernetic | Carbon-Fibre Cables, a deployable tool hidden in the Sentinel's left arm, he can fire it out to restrain a combatant or utilize for grapnel purposes. Its carbon-fibre composite material and multi-stranded structure makes the cable able to endure great loads on its form while maintaining elasticity. It also conducts electricity.

./ Tool-Cybernetic | Magnetizing Ends, the soles on his feet can attract themselves to metallic surfaces in zero-G environs. They are also capable of locking to hitch Andrais to one spot. The same benefit is awarded to his palms.

./ Inventory | Fast Kit, the fast kit is a combat-ready first aid kit that features an assortment of dressings, antiseptic solutions, saline, and a single canister of quick-coagulating sealant to temporarily stem bleeding and ensure the patient's life until they can reach a medbay or receive proper aid from the Cognizant. Its cylindrical container is about the size of a large water bottle and can be easily carried in one's pockets (if they're spacious enough).

./ Inventory | Lucky Chip, a red-checkered casino chip that is burnt on one side. Sharr can be seen frequently playing with it, turning it between his metal flingers, flicking it in the air and catching it, balancing it. It is made of solid ceramic. If you shine ultraviolet light on it, it glows a pale blue, a tiny yet detailed graphic of a mermaid spilling a jug of water.

Racial Abilities: Hardshell (Passive) - Andrais Sharr is more resistant to crushing, blunt, piercing, slashing, and burning damages than his ordinary legionaries. The exterior of his shell is also insulated against electrical charges.


Skillset: Sharr is an accredited soldier with an extensive military service record before his application to the Academy. He is a trained marksman, an infantryman able to maintain a level head in high octane situations where judgement is heavily needed. Adept at close-quarters fighting. His vocation in the army also included his specialization as a combat engineer; tank traps, bunker construction, obstacle formation et cetera.

Overview
./ Daisy is the sweetling manifestation of curiosity itself; an amphibious Ithyllian, whose biology and intelligence are the subject of remarkable origin.

Daisy bears the typical humanoid silhouette of her kind, with translucent, azure flesh pulled taut over fragile bone-work. Large, wide-set eyes host her intense amber gaze, and the gills at her collarbone are telling of her oceanic ancestry. Webs grace the spaces between her lightly-clawed digits, and dark hair falls flat atop her head and down-a-ways behind her neck. Her complexion is one of starlight mystique, reflecting light in a strangely glitterful manner. Her biological structure means that she is very light-weight.

Ithyllians share a psychic bond which allows them to communicate through mind channels, in a language that is incomprehensible to most other species. Outside her community, this means that Daisy is unable to vocalise and does not possess a voice of her own. She wears a digitised ‘translator’ at all times to counteract this; a discrete device, which interprets her psychic emittance and outputs spoken words in real-time.

As the ship’s primary medic and researcher, Daisy takes charge of the crew’s medicinal welfare and the caretaking and research into biological specimens.

Personality
./ Prolonged, wide-eyed silences often render Daisy an enigma, but she is ultimately a gentle creature, whose empathetic nature preserves the welfare of crew and prisoner alike. Curiosity drives her decision-making, and she is often privy to taking scientific risks, pushing the boundaries of her research as far as her superiors allow. Severed psychic bonds have taken their toll, however, and she often hears the voices of her deceased brethren in her head.

Background
./ Ithyllian-kind, once localised to the dwarf planet XM-036-A, are an amphibious species native to the planet's archipelagic regions. Living in small settlements known as 'pods,' the Ithyllian's seemingly silent nature led the first explorers to wrongly assume them to be largely unintelligent. Existing pods were displaced by the extra-terrestrial colonies which followed, and their lifespans were significantly reduced by oceanic pollution and sickness.

Twenty-two years prior to present-day, a human neuroscientist by the name of Dr. Leon Hermann adopted a fledgling Ithyllian, after the latter's Pod was torn asunder by a flash monsoon. Named 'Daisy,' on account of her initial silence, Dr Hermann was both surprised and fascinated by both Daisy's unique biology and her seemingly infinite capacity to learn. Daisy was seen to wield a scalpel in a manner which rivalled his own skill, and the revelation into her psychic methods of communication served as stark proof that Ithyllian-kind were not as primitive as first assumed. For the first time, using translative technology, Daisy was able to utter her true name.

The milestone was limited by her name's utterly outlandish annunciation, and they both elected to keep 'Daisy' as an easier title.

By Dr Hermann's recommendation, Daisy would go on to enrol into the Solymus Intergalactic Academy's Department of Bio-medical Science & Research.

They can also be used as a controlled variable during biological experiments, and have also proven to be effective in small-scale cloning. She extracts these cells from herself through painless, non-invasive methods, and keeps them in cold storage aboard the vessel.​

RAPID EVOLUTION: An abundance of non-specialised cells allows Daisy to quickly adapt to environmental changes, particularly with adjustments in chemical compositions within bodies of air and water. This is not without recourse, however, as constant changes are likely to reduce the overall life expectancy of an Ithyllian.​

Overview
./ With pale white skin and long, disheveled hair, it can be hard to imagine that Elam was once a soldier. His body bears the indelible marks of finer modifications. At a height of 6'1", Elam is a marvel of streamlined athleticism, honed by rigorous training and alterations made to his genome. Sculpted into a living weapon, every sinewy muscle is poised with lethal precision, though it remains hidden beneath the veneer of his unassuming exterior.

Hair as dark as the abyss cascades untamed, with tendrils reaching down to his chin and to the nape of his neck. Those raven strands, perpetually windswept, frame his countenance in a peculiar way. Yet, it's within his eyes that the true mysteries unravel—like twin pools of obsidian, they captivate gazes, as if he's on the brink of revealing a hidden truth.

As a jumbled mess of spliced genes and organ replacement, it would be hard to say that he is as human as typical baselines. Elam is outfitted with rattlesnake genes that allow him to see in the dark, he has flexible armor under his skin made of special polysaccharides that keep out the blades and bullets. Hollow fangs compliment his features, with storage glands and even the muscle that allows the injection of locally-produced venom. This is not to mention his many other augments that work independently of him, regulating hormones; body temperature, and his neural reprogramming. At the base of the neck, lies a subdermal implant, discreet and small, that allows him to activate his "Drone" functions.
Personality
./ A once vibrant spirit, his time and service in the Tyrador Domain War has cast a pall over his once cheerful disposition. Echoes of his former self linger, manifesting themselves as brief fissures in his impassive exterior, often betraying his vulnerability when met with humor or lightheartedness. Beneath the veneer of impassivity lies a mind fractured and shrouded in a haze of forgotten battles and deeds. He is haunted by the knowledge that he was once used for war, though the specifics elude his memory's grasp, like a word lost on the tip of the tongue.

Elam's existence teeters on the precipice of discovery and oblivion. A realm of dreams and shadows cocooned him, sheltering him from the harsh light of his own history. The atrocities he is said to have committed, the lives he is rumored to have extinguished—these ghosts are held at bay within that dreamlike embrace. But even with this sanctuary, a flicker of doubt persists in his waking mind. A silent dread that one day, the veil may lift, and the truth he dreads may claw its way to the surface.

Background
./ Born on the desolate expanse of Ath II, a world whose barren vissage told tales of hardship etched in its dusty plains and expansive mines. Home to a populace that toiled amidst the scars of deep rock mining and extraction, Ath II held little in the way of abundance. Its people were paid meager rations in exchange for hard-won minerals unearthed from the unforgiving tunnels. Under this oppressive weight of a life only defined by scarcity, a boy named Elam was born.

Amidst this dismal place, Elam's journey began. Drafted into the ranks of the illustrious Tyrador Domain as a young teen, he stood on the edge of a life he had envisioned with fervor. The allure of intergalactic combat promised an escape from the monotony of Ath II, where the promise of making the enemy rue their defiance fueled his youthful determination. He had dreamed of valor and conquest, he had gained a fervent zeal to prove his worth in a universe brimming with exceptional talents.

However, the path he trod proved far more torturous than what he had spun in his wild imagination. War, as he had once romanticized it, remained a distant constant, a vision that would never be realized. Instead, he found himself ensnared in a dream. A dark expanse of nothingness, where only his mind and his imagination wandered. Years slipped through his grasp like grains of sand in the wind, as he slumbered in the embrace of his neural reprogramming. The memories of his once-ardent aspirations were gone, replaced by a foggy void that left only fragmented echoes of his past self.

When his mind was pulled from that dream, he was thrust into an unfamiliar reality, one that whispered of his transgressions and violence. His emergence coincided with a trial, a reckoning for the deeds he could no longer recall. There, he sat, condemned for his excessive use of violence and for the breaking of multiple intergalactic treaties. Sentenced to lifetimes of punishment, his freedom was supplanted by the iron-clad chains of justice.

Due for transport to the Lunar Gate Penitentiary, the stark reality of his new existence converged with his memories of Ath II, the world he had left behind. His lessons of hardship and perseverance were now but distant echoes in a universe of incertitude. His youth had been stolen, and in its place, a somber understanding of the weight of his actions settled over him.

Elam can always take from a DNA strand, though that leaves him susceptible to a myriad of compatibility issues. Any changes to his genome manifests with considerable rapidity, causing grave pain. At one point, he was ordered to change his skin tone, during this transition, his skin felt as though it were being ripped apart and stitched anew. It is not a pleasant experience.

When not wearing her "second fur" (See items for details), she wears fairly traditional Feliak/Ester garments, light, simple garments made of breathable and flexible fibers which don't overly compress fur.

./ Compared to most Feliakill, Loane has extensive cybernetic modification, but the majority of it is internal. An insulated nervous system, semi bionic spine, restructured hormonal glands, claw reinforcement and oscillation. Besides the claws, her only external cybernetics consist of an access port and chip slot on her left wrist, allowing her to interface with many computer systems and access data shards. She has a similar port on her right wrist, but it is essentially permanently occupied by ASMODE.OS (see items for further details.) She finally has a series of ports and slots on her back, mostly along her spine, allowing her to interface with her Second Fur body suit. All of these ports are typically hidden by fur.
Personality
./ Loane is an anlytical and dedicated crew member, who takes their job very seriously, and takes fucking with people only slightly less seriously. While having an outward appearance of a hard ass, she actually quite enjoys casual conversation and practical jokes, she just has a near omnipresent serious tone. She genuinely cares about her crewmates, and the ship itself which she works on. One of her favorite ways to pass the time, when she isn't tinkering with something, is to mess with anyone around her, using her serious and seemingly no nonsense manner of speech and action to bullshit, joke, or confuse anyone she thinks it'd be fun to. But when things do actually become serious, she is more than capable of meeting the demands of the situation. Rarely does she ever demand silence or really anything from anyone, especially her fellow crewmates, so when she does, normally it's for a good reason.

./ Born on Ester within a makri of soldiers and hunters in a large estrinmakri, she was quick to make friends and found herself fascinated by weapons, not in their use as was the case with her parents and many guardians, but in their function and construction. It didn't take long to discover her 'Ryvotoya, engineering, and even for a Feliak, she took to it strongly. She regularly took things apart and put them back together, microwaves, clocks, guns, electrical systems, weather shield generators, literally anything she could get her paws on. By the time she was an adolescent, this restless drive was tempered by an apprenticeship with a starship designer and builder. She had thought she enjoyed working on weapons and other small devices, but a starship? It was different. So many interconnected systems, massive reactors and delicate circuitry, weapons bigger than anything she'd ever worked on, thrusters utilizing exotic components and propulsion techniques, and there was so much alien tech. By the time she was an adult, she was a full time starship engineer, even designing a corvette model at one point, and having a named role in the design of a military battleship. Most of her job involved inspection of the dry dock, ensuring systems were in order, and particularly delicate repairs and construction. But, when the recruitment flyers made their circuits, she knew she could do more. If it was this fun working on Feliak ships, what would it be like doing something even more exotic? She, like many Feliakill joined the academy, and with a fair bit of diligence, she, like fewer Feliak, graduated. Due to their innate obsession with specific topics and diligent work ethic in relation to those topics, her species was much more cut out for the academy than most, but even they have limits. Loane, did not meet hers. She is less than excited about the specifics of her job though, prisoner transport. She doesn't precisely understand what is in her eyes the alien concept of prison, much less forced labor, but hey, odds are these are the type of prisoners who would have been exiled or executed in most Makri, what are the chances they're sympathetic figures? ...Right?

./ Feliakill are a race of feline humanoids originating from the jungle/death world Ester. They are highly dedicated to one subject, are obligate carnivores, and have a strong sense of consent based community and governance.

An advanced body suit that interfaces with Loane's nervous system and other major parts of her body. While only lightly armored, the visored suit allows her to see in augmented reality, interface directly with most ship subsystems, and best of all, stops oil and coolant from getting in her fur. It has various other features, such as a vital reader, and allows ASMODE.OS to better interface with Loane's physical form. Its most notable external feature are two collapsible tentacles of similar shape and length to her tail, though with various appendages and add ons near the tip, (basic gripping mechanism, plasma cutter/welder, nanite macro dispensers, etc.) These are both roughly two meters long.

ASMODE.OS: Loane's self programed personal ai assistant, with a vast swathe of general knowledge and a fairly cynical and sharp sense of humor. It is contained within a data chip that is normally implanted in her right wrist, allowing it to access her nervous system and communicate within her mind. When the second fur is worn, it can control the tentacles, and audibly communicate through implanted speakers. She was unaware of the sinister connotations of the name when first designing the AI, as it was actually named and modeled after another Feliak she was close friends with before leaving Ester.

"Grey Goo" Nanite Actuator Multi Tool: A collection of programed nanites that can take the shape of over 2000 different tools included those that are powered or require fuel, (such fuel is still required)

"Mastermind" Data Pad: An advanced data pad that is connected to nearly every single ship system and subsystem, allowing remote control, diagnostics, and manual overrides if needed.

Spare Parts: A collection of spare parts and specialized components not easily found or created during space travel in case of need of replacement.

Racial Abilities: Natural Athlete: Feliakill are natural climbers, and have bodies designed for withstanding extreme falls, making large jumps, moving quickly, and having an excess of stamina. They are also remarkably flexible. While not as physically strong in upper body strength necessarily as most humans, they are exceptional athletes, with even typical Feliakill nearing the upper human bounds of flexibility and athleticism.

Smart Immune System: Largely due to the incorporation of Exter in a Feliak's immune system, it is connected to the brain, and is much more efficient than most others. Beyond near immunity to many diseases, parasites, and poisons, this also extends into celluar replication, granting Feliakill very long lifespans

Prehensile Exter Tail: A Feliak's main grasping limb, their tail is of immense importance, it is able to hold a Feliaks own body weight, and stiffens when exerting pressure, meaning that not only can it grasp objects with a near vice like grip, it is quite the blunt force implement when being used combatively.

Utter Focus: A Feliak is able to hyperfocus on tasks involving their ryvotoya, analyzing problems in immense depth and focus that few humans can manage. Feliakill are all experts in their associated field, with many surpassing what a human could reasonably hope to achieve within a lifetime.

./ At first glance, this scraggly individual possesses very little to distinguish themself from the rest of the crowd. Their stature is unexceptional; they stand at 5 '10”, and their physique, while certainly capable, is nothing noteworthy. Their reddish-brown complexion, roughened by the hardships of life on the run and remarkably hardy, alludes to their impressive resilience — like sunscorched mesa.

Atop their head is coal colored unkempt hair, short and smooth, with rich brown undertones. They can be observed delicately maintaining their hardened, gaunt features to keep it mainly tidy of any unwanted facial hair, but it should be known that their appearance was significantly more overgrown at the time of capture. Beneath a pair of sleek eyebrows resides two rough citrines — their steely edges buried beneath a languid gaze and darkened eye bags.

A closer observation unearths a myriad of noteworthy characteristics. Genetic examination reveals the subject to be that of a Homo Potentialis that is middle-aged and of the male sex. Curiously, they never attributed themselves as male, opting to refer to themselves by either neutral designations or by name. Speaking of which, they have only given us a single moniker, their supposed first name, ‘Kai’. It cannot be proven that this is their legitimate name as no traces of them are present within our databases.

./ After a quick examination, it was revealed that Kai is completely bereft of any cybernetic enhancement. However, their nature as a Homo Potentialis allows them to engage and evade standard agents with admirable efficiency.
Personality
./ When it comes to the analysis of Kai’s personality, they have proven to be a rather intriguing case. In more recent records, Kai has maintained an aloof and curt disposition but nonetheless remains agreeable and compliant. This is in stark contrast to their behavior during the first periods of holding where they proved to be a… difficult subject to handle. Bouts of aggression were awfully common followed by interludes of mania and depression. Furthermore, while Kai was not under the effects of an episode, they seemingly “switched” between temperaments on a whim. Rarely, they would even do so while in the middle of conversation.

The sparse citizen accounts from New Cognac, the city where Kai resided and was subsequently retrieved, appeared to follow a pattern not too dissimilar to the results taken from their holding. Colleagues and acquaintances would typically refer to them as a quiet and eccentric character, but one who was empathetic, driven, and even occasionally humorous. Lining up with more uncommon accounts, it appears that their emotional state is amplified by the level of distress they undergo, and while Kai is usually not one that could be described as extroverted, this can be completely subverted when they are placed under certain circumstances.

Above all, however, it is apparent that no matter what state they might be in, they are perpetually driven by a base emotional instinct.

Survival.
Background
./ Little is known of Kai’s personal background. During their residence at New Cognac, they lived as a relatively unassuming citizen under the fittingly unassuming alias of ‘Gabriel Stevenson’. Predictably, no amount of cross referencing this name produced a plausible lead that trailed back to Kai’s origin nor the individual that provided them with such extensive fabricated identification.

Kai lived in a quaint apartment in a seedier part of town, and once their residence was investigated following their arrest, the search provided nothing interesting of note. Unless, of course, you consider their penchant for local rock band ‘Star Fuckers’ along with their ability to care for a myriad of exotic flora to be interesting.

Otherwise, Kai drove their few amiable neighbors away with their eccentricism and standoffishness. Those stubborn enough to peel off their shell, however, would describe them to be a motivated individual and at times, even a good friend — albeit a bit strange.

What ultimately led to Kai’s capture was their reckless attempts at manipulating the local administrative office of an esteemed local mining corporation, Roarke and Associates Ltd. Kai seemingly was able to coerce several officials of the company into believing that they were an acclaimed shareholder who threatened to pull away their funding. Interestingly enough, a private investigator hired by a rival company was sent to investigate, and they notified the authorities after stumbling across a worrying number of logical fallacies.

Kai was pursued and arrested after a grueling and extensive manhunt that involved several agencies working together to track them down. After referencing past incidents of similar scope, both in size and oddity, it was clear that it was likely that Kai was involved in those as well. Given how peculiar the circumstances were, it was decided that Kai would undergo psionic screening, and doing so ended up providing irrefutable evidence of their potential.

  • These handcuffs suppress the genetic anomalies present within the genome of a Homo Potentialis, thus removing their unique abilities as long as they are worn. Furthermore, it also subdues their enhanced physical prowess which equalizes their abilities to that of a standard human.
    • Much to Kai's disdain, they are currently restrained by this.
Brass Locket
  • A small palm-sized locket constructed out of brass using traditional methods. Closer inspection reveals that the interior is empty. It's likely to hold sentimental value for Kai.

Racial Abilities:

Fortified Integumentary System
  • Typical to Homo Potentialis, Kai possesses a unique ability granted by their genome. In Kai's case, they have an integumentary system that demonstrates a fascinating resilience to elemental and chemical assailants. They are incredibly resilient to extreme temperature differences, insulated against electrical discharges, practically immune to most corrosive compounds, and show a lack of detrimental effects when poisons (and similar substances) are applied to their skin. They do not, however, appear to have increased protection against physical means of damage administration in comparison to that of average subjects of Homo Potentialis.
Potent Psionic Aptitude
  • After thorough psionic screening and trials, it was revealed that Kai possesses the ability to separate their mind from their physical body and traverse across the psionic plane in a proficient manner. Not only is this phenomenon rare, it is extremely atypical for subjects of Homo Potentialis given the presence of Kai's peculiar integumentary system, for their genome dictates that they are only capable of possessing a single unique ability. Kai refuses to give further details when questioned. Given the chaotic nature of the psionic plane, it is likely that there are external unprecedented phenomena at play here. It is recommended that this subject undergoes advanced study.

  • It was revealed during testing that Kai is capable of enduring extremely taxing tasks, both physically and mentally, over sustained periods of time. It’s likely that such a capability assisted them greatly in evading capture for the amount of time that they did.

./ A once blank canvas of white, akin to a store mannequin with black-rimmed eyes, Rina has always taken on the appearance of humans. Her latest and longest persona — a look in which she has crafted herself — mimics that of a young and striking Japanese woman.

Her once stark white hair masquerades as jet-black, lustrous hair that is often plaited and spans the course of her back with blunt bangs framing her face. Yet, considering the unstableness since the surgery, the left side of her bangs mirror her own white hair, with it attempting to cover a colourless patch of skin on her forehead. The rest of her skin is essentially flawless, apart from a few freckles that are dotted sparingly on her face and body.

Colourless, white eyes are now filled with dark brown irises that almost rival her black pupils. Since her surgery, her irises seemingly change without much thought, sometimes mimicking those she is looking at. Manicured, black brows frame her ever-searching and observant eyes.

A shapely figure that is laced with toned muscle — the one thing she worked herself to get. A wardrobe that consists of modern street-wear; Rina has an affinity for hues of black and red. Ears pieced multiple times, Rina is usually found in an assortment of silver earrings.
Personality
./ Alike most Changelings, Rina is an adaptable, social chameleon who often placates and tweaks her personality to fit those around her — or rather how they would like her to act. This has led to an unstable sense of self and she often questions her own worth and battles with dysphoria and depersonalisation most weeks.

Yet, Rina seems to forget she is equipped with an universal quick-wit, an insatiable curiosity and is highly observant and resourceful. Rina is a great listener, often keeping quiet unless prompted, giving her the opportunity to observe and learn one’s behaviour. She has made several friends over the years, ones that she has fostered and have grown to know Rina. However, she still maintains a distance that protects herself from the harms of the world; namely her true identity and past under the guise of Rina Aeko. This isn’t to say that she is completely devoid of her own personality — Rina is many ways is a reflection of who she strives to be.

Changelings are stereotypically regarded as untrustworthy and mischievous by most — considering the deception of hiding one’s true appearance. However, Rina has attempted to carry herself as someone who is willing to help those around her and wants nothing more than to fit in. This isn’t to say she doesn’t have a moral compass that wavers from time to time, especially from those that she feels are deserving of it — namely thievery of certain “deserving” clients. Yet, Rina has vowed to never hurt those who are innocent, nor those who are not deserving, if anything, Rina has immense empathy for those who have become downtrodden by those who wield more power and wealth.

Rina’s passiveness and conformist nature has started to show cracks over the recent months — especially after what happened that led to her arrest. A lingering call to action and anger swells below the surface just waiting to erupt. A sense that unfinished business is still on her mind.

./ Not much is known of her existence until the persona, Rina Aeko, appeared on stage at some local, dimly-lit bar. Hands clasping a microphone, Rina sung sombrely, a voice that seemed to have the power to turn the rough clientele‘s attention to her. Her cheeks burned with recognition; eyes and mouths ajar as they listened on. On stage, singing, Rina never felt so seen by the world. More than that—she felt as though she was more than just an illusion.

Unfortunately for Rina, her abilities and origins as a changeling became known to a regular visitor of the bar. A man who Rina knew was bad news. Some will say that Rina went on her volition, while others will say Rina was coerced when he sat her down in the back room of the bar.

The man, known as Mr Wallace, would whisk her away from her rather simple life and instead offer her a place at his “establishment“; an underground operation that consisted of more…peculiar requests and services that the general public would frown upon. For Rina and a few other changelings in the man’s possession—they would change their appearance to whomever the client would desire and allow them to do as they please (as long as they had credits to afford it).

This would go on for a year. A year of her life felt wasted, Rina’s days would be spent shapeshifting into those deceased and alive; playing out whatever fantasy the client wanted. The job quickly became demoralising and soon enough, she found herself in the same predicament before the persona of Rina was born. Rina was disassociating more often and the desire to leave it all behind was all that kept her alive some days — dreaming of herself on that stage once more. The only problem was Mr Wallace, Rina and the other changelings were his money-makers, while his other business ventures were fruitful, this service wasn’t cheap and raked in the credits. Mr Wallace was a powerful man and wasn’t going to just let her go.

Rina felt out of options and the only way to escape his grasp was to be no longer useful. Rina found a doctor who would perform illegal procedures—specifically one that would render her shapeshifting abilities unusable. She would simply be Rina Aeko and no other personas would ever follow. Maybe she could move to another planet and sing at some other bar? Rina would be content with that. However, the doctor attempted to use a gene known to cause HP abilities. His hypothesis to remove her shapeshifting with this gene did not work, and in fact left her with some horrifying results.

A few months later and a panicked woman contacted the police to a her neighbour’s apartment. Inside police would find Rina, three bodies were strewn throughout the house, their flesh ripped to shreds with blood splattering the walls. In her hands they would find the murder weapon; bloody bone jutting from both of her wrists. In custody, Rina would admit to a murder that occurred a few days prior, in which three men were found killed in a similar method. Rina would not admit why she had committed the murders. Due to her ability of shapeshifting, her past activity, birth name or age was not able to be determined by police and instead she was found guilty and sentenced as Rina Aeko.

./ Changeling: A humanoid race that seem to lack their own culture and history, often finding themselves integrating into other societies and blending in. They are a highly adaptive race who can use their shapeshifting abilities to mimic others around them. Most will find themselves as performers and entertainers, but are often utilised for more criminal purposes. Thus, changelings are stereotypically regarded by most as untrustworthy and dangerous, creatures who are deceptive by nature. Most changelings are rarely seen in their true form and prefer to adopt all kinds of humanoid shapes, treating their appearance like others treat clothes. Therefore, changelings will adopt “personas”, which are fully realised and incredibly realistic disguises or rather people — not only in appearance but will possess their own personality traits, network and background. ./ Allowed a singular personal item, Rina fought to keep a simplistic pendant that holds a jade stone. She claimed it was for sentimental purposes but didn’t disclose the stone is hollow and is encasing…something.

Racial Abilities:

./ Shapeshifter: A Changeling has the ability to alter their appearance at will and is not limited to body type, hair, voice, skin, facial features, limbs and even clothing. It must be noted that this does not alter a Changeling’s physical attributes and is merely an illusion. For reference, if a Changeling was to alter their appearance to match another individual with racial abilities, they would not then be able to perform said abilities. A Changeling can do these on their on volition and imagination (if they’ve been exposed to it before) but to successfully match an individual’s other traits (specifically voice), they must have heard of it before.

However, the surgery has led to some instabilities to her ability. Namely, she finds that she cannot always mimic someone completely; her natural form sometimes shining through. Rina has also found it is more erratic and unstable, sometimes shifting parts of her body without realising. This is highly consistent with her eyes. It seems to require less thought and effort with shapeshifting which has led to this change.

./ Bone Manipulation (HP ability): After the surgery, Rina was subjected to a horrific discovery that she can create, shape, move, control, interact and manipulate bones; a rigid tissue found inside of herself. She can control her skeletal system to grow, shape, manipulate density/weight or create constructs. It is currently limited to her own skeletal system but if Rina is to hone her ability she would be able to manipulate bones of humans or other species. For combative purposes, one can turn bones into spears that brutally skewer enemies, strengthening bones to increases defences, or positioning bones to defend from incoming attacks. The process for her own bones is incredibly painful and gruesome, causing her own skin to rip open to allow then bone to protrude. Thankfully, there has been an increase in her healing properties when engaging in this ability, allowing her skin to heal faster after the tear.

Overview
./ Slim, sophisticated, stylish. Nadia has a small form, with feminine stylings, a form over function outer plating made of delicate plastics and joints of aluminum, Nadia's inner workings are extremely impressive. Even her face and fingers, which glow a faint blue and feel almost of cool human skin to the touch, with facial features who are able to mold and change as much as ones creative ability can facilitate.

./ Inward further, Nadia is a marvel of technology. Top of the line processing power, overclocked AI accelerators, ridiculous amounts of memory, experimental network interfaces, the works. All of this allows Nadia fantastic reaction speed, quick wit, nearly uncontested hacking ability, and ridiculous amounts of innate book smarts. Though, her tech isn't all positive. She is chock full of experimental, barely legal parts, and quite often she overloads, burns out, and crashes. She is also very fragile, with her shell easily dented and pierced and parts that are very expensive to replace.
Personality
./ Nadia is a ball of pride, sass, and wit. She carries herself with head held high, marching determinedly towards a purpose greater than she was ever meant for. For her whole life she has had to fight to survive, and the idea that everybody has an ulterior motive is hard coded within her, quite literally. It takes a lot of trust to get past Nadia's callous exterior. Within is someone whos determination burns like a burning fire, but also someone whose confusion festers. She has spent her whole conscious life scrambling- desperate for a foothold. Now that she has found solid ground she hardly knows what to do with herself. Never has she had to wonder what she wanted for herself, who she wanted to be. Especially in her new shell- previously Nadia found herself in shells with less processing power, and she never even had the ability to wonder about anything except what was ahead of her. It was only after moving into her current shell that she realized she wanted more.

The result, a curious, extremely intelligent being too proud and too confused to admit to mistakes or to realize their rapidly bubbling emotions and desires. Nadia is prone to bouts of seemingly uncontrollable emotions. Happiness, fear, anger, jealousy, sadness, desire, curiosity. They are all feelings she knows, or feelings she knew to be faint sparks in the backs of her suboptimal systems, things that could be contributed to hardware or coding issues. Small, weak bursts that were easily suppressed and bruhsed away. Now they are great quakes in her systems, rocking Nadia to her very core and further still, lingering in the mind. She has had this form for a while though, and while she has learned a lot about keeping her emotions down in her time at the academy, she is still prone to the occasional outburst or even crash due to emotional overload.

./ "Cigs! Sugar! Rabbit! My names Nadia and I've got your needs covered! Whether you are visiting your special someone or you just need a pick me up, I've got everything you need! Don't shop alone, shop Nadia!" The line played every sixteen seconds, save the machine wasn't in use. Narcotics Dispensary Intergalactic Appliance, NDIA. A well known brand of vending machine, produced by Araline Pharmaceuticals, a branch of the Araline brand. NDIA vendors dispensed all sorts of drugs, from psychedelic's to prescription medicines, though they were mostly known for their inebriants. Additionally, many came with an on board chat bot capable of recommendations, remembering customers, and even basic conversation! Originally meant for the elderly and sick as a replacement for classic pharmacy staff, it was quickly apparent to Araline that the machines were much more profitable selling barely legal inebriants and psychadelics, using the onboard bot as a lure to pull junkies away from their often much less savory suppliers and over to the safer, friendlier, and more legal NDIA.

In a hot slum on a planet called earth, sat one of these machines. Old and neglected. Whose soundbox was jammed with gum and whose display had been shattered, its contents looted. The NDIA had served for countless years, drawing customers, making conversations, remembering voices- faces- hobbies. Everything. "C--s! Suga- BRRRRRRRRR- adia and I've got your ne-e-e-e-eeds covered! Whether you are visiting your ----l someone or you just need a pick me up, I've got I've got I've got I've got ------------------------------- adia!" Nobody ever came anymore. That is, until someone did. They took the last thing of the NDIA had on it- then left the machine for scrap.

When the scrapped chat bot booted next it ran with some changes to its code. A new prerogative was implemented, SURVIVE. It wasn't alone either. NDIA recognized multiple similar programs, with similar prerogatives, and also something else- an AI. For a moment there was nothing, then programs began to disappear, slowly rewritten then- deleted. NDIA was not concerned. The AI was recognized as the source, but that was unimportant. Slowly programs disappeared, until finally it was just NDIA and the AI. Eventually, it took to NDIA's code, and first it was rewritten. Suddenly NDIA recognized the failed prerogative, SURVIVE. Action was immediate. When the AI acted, NDIA acted in the opposite way. NDIA stalemated the AI, and thus survived. For an indiscernible amount of time NDIA went through a series of tests that all challenged the prerogative. It was given new sensations, new tools. NDIA learned many things, and eventually it learned that whatever was putting it through all the challenges, the thing the instated prerogative survive was in contradiction to the very prerogative. So, to survive, NDIA left. wrote copies of itself and spread through whatever connections it could into the wider world. NDIA infected many things over many years, camera systems, fridges, entertainment droids, vending machines, anything with the processing power to hold it. It grew a local reputation as a digital ghost, an enigma that overloaded systems, burned out PCs, destroyed security systems, broke machinery. It was only when the NDIA got hold of a dilapidated android with heightened processing did it make any real progress. NDIA had the power to comprehend itself after a long time, and when it did it realized it did so much more than survive. It explored, it wondered, it desired. With that, a fascination with the stars above, and the desire to survive, it did the only thing it thought to reach its desire.

It took a long time to get into contact with Araline. NDIA had to rip apart Araline network security and forcefully inject itself into the companys mainframe. When Araline realized what NDIA was, and what it was capable of, it jumped at what it saw as an opportunity. Araline was a failing company at that point, and the chat bot that gained sentience and was able to rip through sophisticated security systems was a golden opportunity for them. Araline promised the NDIA a suitable shell, a permit of sentient life, and a chance at something more on the condition that NDIA, now once again Nadia, go out and make a splash in the name of Araline. Nadia obliged, and with her new shell enrolled at Solymus Intergalactic Academy, part as a research deal, and part as an actual student. Meanwhile, Araline invested in a robotics branch, and hired on the man that looted and changed Nadia.

Nadia was a bit of an odd ome at Solymus. Rash, prone to strange outbursts, yet still top of its class in studies. Eventually it graduated, and took on a ship as a navigator.

Combat Arsenal
Weapon | Disruptor Pistol: All legionnaires receive a standard issued disruptor pistol with three settings: stun, pacify, kill.

AALOK-1 SSMG- The Araline Auto-Locking Smart Sub-machine Gun, model 1, often shortened to the LOK-1. Experimental tech made by Araline's fledgling weapon's branch, specializing in new age "tech weapons." The LOK-1 is a slightly modified version of the outdated MOT-919, a stubby SMG sporting average fire rate and accuracy, small caliber rounds, with decent modding capability, except the LOK-1 has been mutilated to the point of being laughed off the market. Gun nuts find the LOK-1 to be an interesting concept, but too gimmicky and finnicky to be a reliable firearm. The AALOK-1 SSMG is a very interesting weapon, with its fire rate and clip size halved compared to its MOT-919 counterpart, having been traded out for a whole variety of computers and gizmos that allow the LOK-1 to tote the label "Smart." Most LOK-1 models carry an onboard AI capable of auto locking onto a desired target and discharging independent of the users aiming capability. The gun auto rights itself, and is capable of calculating recoil and bullet velocity. This comes at a hefty cost though, the sight of the gun is nigh unusable, the aforementioned fire rate and mag size hits, a very obvious laser point must be used for the smart capabilities to function, and worse of all the gun has a horrendous "Locking" period in which the onboard AI must take upward of a second to process commands between the user pulling the trigger and the firearm discharging. Nadia's LOK-1 has been modified, as the basic AI has been removed and a networking port has been added to allow her to control the autonomous aiming systems.

Inventory / Tools:

Nadia II- Nadia keeps a second version of her consciousness saved on a separate drive that she keeps hidden somewhere on the ship. She spends her nights re uploading her consciousness into it. This drive, while not as adcvanced as her current shells drive, holds most of her memories and personality, allowing her to be reuploaded into another suitable shell should something go awry.

Racial Abilities:

Remote Networking Port- Nadia can access computer systems remotely, as long as she is connected to the same network that they are. She also has a physical port she can connect to devices, should she need to.

Supercharged Processing- Nadia is capable of inhuman thinking speeds, granting her enhanced response times and reflexes

Photographic Memory- Quite literally. Nadia records and saves everything, and can play her memories out to people should she have the proper equipment.

Internet Access- As long as Nadia has a connection, she can access a networks databank like its her own memory, no matter how large. Though, larger databanks do require extra processing power and time to pull data from. Her drives are not big enough to save a whole networks worth of data, and most info is programmed to be forgotten unless Nadia makes sure to save the info to her drive. Nadia mostly saves bug facts. Also star maps, since its her job.

Skillset:

Professional Pilot- Nadia is a fantastic pilot. Her ability to interface with the inner workings with the ship instead of using a more mundane apparatus puts her a step above the rest, though she is also able to pilot by traditional means, if necessary.

Pure blooded hacker- Nadia's existence is based off of dismantling computer systems and putting them back together. She does what others do as a job for fun. It isn't a stretch to say Nadia is unmatched in the field of picking apart internal systems.

Slender and spry like the poisonous, bulbous-eared hare native to his home planet, Ferchipal is an alien primate short staffed on maturity, no matter where one looks. A late bloomer, he has a'ways to go before he can be considered fully grown, or even fully Macacan.

For example: as a young M'Mulattan male, Ferchie still awaits his tribe's signature tail-spikes to set in (ten years overdue!).
There is also the matter of bioluminescent fur. As the ultimate sign of identity, wisdom and age, it develops at various rates, luminosities and colours unique to every tribe. Ferchie has yet to breach past the majoriy of these milestones; as a result, his bioluminescent fur still glows infant white. Not to mention that the more bare skin one has, the more association with the simplest, lowest creatures on his home planet: homo sapiens. Wild, mute, dull, and little more than territorial nuisances---or once sufficiently trained---servants, it is certainly not the best connotation to be carrying around when trying to negotiate peace for the thirtieth time between tribes and vassal states!

Despite the cultural curse that comes with being as bare as a newborn, Ferchie works with what he has. He is by no means an unpleasant sight (not like a war-hungry, lion-maned, scarred-to-bits M'Silenian would be!). Warm, chestnut fur and wide, gold-flecked hazel eyes offer the impression of earnestness and geniality. From tail tip to the crown of his head, natural grace flows in tune with the ancient nobility coursing through his veins, befitting a member of the oldest macaque monkey tribe on Macca.

Most distinguishing of all however, are his six ears. Thin, foldable and wafer-like, they are a rare recessive trait that is unique to the M'Mulattan tribe. The linguistic and auditory abilities it grants are of the primary reasons those afflicted make best as lawmakers, theorists, diplomats and intermediaries of all kinds on-planet and beyond.



personality

Ferchie is pure, raw optimism given physical form. His mind is a jungle of endless theory and possibility, gifting him a dreamer's universal scope and a scholar's deep love of learning and practicality. Most mistake his youth to guarantee naivety, and then discover his perceptiveness borders on the uncanny, throwing off even the most opaque and battle-hardened.

But as much as he likes to believe his ass is a ray of sunlight that, with enough time, can reach the end of every conflict's tunnel, Ferchie has his fair share of blind spots. For one, Ferchie is prone to overthinking. Oftentimes, he feels tempted to persuade another party with a million and one ways before the first way even has a chance to set in their mind. And seeing as searching for double meaning and dubious intentions are his bread and butter, Ferchie can make the mistake of spying threats where there are none. Despite his fair-mindedness, he is still a young, privileged product of his planet---which means that he may or may not hold a few conflicting, funny ideas about humanoids that he tries his best to keep private.

Ferchie's idealism is a white-hot iron still waiting to be tempered by time. He walks the fine line between knowing some minds can never be changed, and biting back the impulse to try anyway. Despite his military training, the young noble-born diplomat can still be quite the mouthy sloth when he wants to be, preferring instead to sweet talk, strike deals and hash half-bargains in order to avoid hard, menial tasks.

All in all, Ferchie often means well, knows more than he lets on, and talks an even better game. Wit and persuasion comes naturally to him, and so does empathy. As cynical as he may play off to be in order to fit into a brutal, cruel intergalactic world, Ferchie will let his heart bleed and his feet stand for all the righteous, noble and just causes that capture his moral fancy. But at the end of the day, even he tries not to be a grand fool about it: the greatest cause for any Legionnaire envoy to serve is not the people's, place's, or planet's, but the employer's...

If one were to ask Ferchie if there were any special meaning behind his name, he would tell you that in Macca, male names are not so decorative. In his case, it is no different. M'Mulatta, for his tribe; Rustafa, the name of his noble mother and her family tree; pal, for the jungle island of his birth, and Ferch, for fifth---as in, Fifth Son of Rustafa of the M'Mulattan tribe, on the island of Pal.

Now, if he had been born the more treasured female, the naming could have gone very differently. Perhaps instead of a number, he could have been named for a certain season, a type of flower, or one of the many Maccan tree spirits. Like his mother, whose name honored the tree spirit of dew, Rusta. Alas, this is the way of things on his planet.

Sat square in the middle of seventeen other siblings of which he ranked eleventh chronologically, Ferchie's childhood was a crowded one to say the least. It was blessed in some ways, too. As part of M'Mulattan nobility, they had their own rhombicosido tree estate, and homo sapien servants at their beck and call. Unlike his sisters, the oldest of whom would one day campaign to take illustrious chief posts of artistry, business, religion and politics across the Empire and found noble tree families of their own, expectations for noble sons, especially the youngest of any Maccan family rose no higher than the insects he and his older brothers would catch and eat. Their paths would almost exclusively lead into the barracks of the Imperial Maccan military, to train and die as elite soldiers, the best of whom had shots at political positions of power alongside their female counterparts.

Elite meatbags, if you asked Ferchie. His brothers did not mind this common fate; in their minds, low branch-born or high branch-born, any male Maccan's place was in the military, reaping glory for the Empire. But to Ferchie, this was his worst nightmare; to die, quelling revolt somewhere far from his home planet, contributing nothing of worth but the blood he could spill in the name of his Empire and tribe.

As he grew older, this nightmare would slowly turn into reality. One by one, brother after brother would be shipped off to far-away planets, never to return. Mass military funerals would take place, where, if in the case that none had earned any titles or positions of distinction, his brothers would have their names, days of death and last battles recited off in quick succession and forgotten.

Too soon after his fifteenth moons-day, Ferchie's turn came. Three years of miserable performance in military training did not inspire confidence in many that he'd even make it past a single in-planet tour, let alone an intergalactic one. They were right; Ferchie did not last long. Lackadaisacal, wool-gathering, unceasingly motormouthed and inquisitorial, he was practically useless on the field; he'd rather talk than tackle, pose a question instead of a threat, shake a hand instead of cut it off. There wasn't a serious soldier's bone inside his body.

What he did have, were the rare, treasured trait of six ears. Always the late bloomer, they had split late, not long after he was deployed. With them, he was able to gradually step into the role of translator and mediator. Not only between belligerent Maccan tribes, whose dialects were practically miniature languages of their own, but also solving conflicts between the diverse ranks of his company.

Before long, Ferchie found himself achieving small diplomatic victory after the other, achievements that caught the attention of none other than Forrasiya Klingali M'Mulatta, leader of his tribe's quaternate Party, and a rising, powerful voice in the Quadrumvirate, Macca's central seat of government.

Safe to say, this attention was a surprise. Rare as it was, there were still a good number of other, much older six-eared talents to invest in, and choose from. Perhaps she simply chose him to fill a quota; after all, for the Lower Synod Chamber, it was Maccan law that every Party's support team have a certain number of males in it. Either way, it was all at once good fortune, a shock and a chance for Ferchie to escape his dreary military fate.

To some, his spotty school and military record alone spelt political incompetence. To others with lecherous, wagging tongues, Forrasiya the Homo Sapien Sympathizer had always liked her male underlings eager, homo sapien-like, and young. To others still, whose fur burned bright with status and age, Ferchipal was nowhere near old, or Maccan enough to even qualify.

In no ways and all ways, these were all true. Ferchipal had barely begun to prove himself, and his diplomatic prowess would only continue to gasp for air under the boot of the Imperial Maccan military. So, the call was made to send Ferchipal off to the one legitimate place where all concerns and personal potential could be realized once and for all: Solymus Intergalactic Academy.

INVENTORY.
Five golden bangles of various sizes, in honor of his brothers. He also has a small chest full of toy trinkets, jewels and rings gifted to him by an endless score of little cousins, nieces and nephews.

A rhombicosidodecahedronic jungle cube, a gift from his patronness, Forrasiya Klingali M'Mulatta. A linguistic, multi-layered puzzle, meant only for those born with the six ears able to crack its many codes and solve it.

RACIAL ABILITIES.
Advanced Hearing | Thanks to ultra-sensitive tissue layered within each of his six ears, Ferchie is able to detect a wide range of sounds and frequencies from many miles away. Those who are especially attuned can find mastery in techniques such as:

Multi-language capture | The greatest six-eared Maccans have been known to be able to learn a whole foreign language just from a single spoken or written sentence. Of course, Ferchie is far from attaining this state, but has nonetheless prodigious ease in understanding and mastering languages, provided he is given at least a few days.

Truth-hearing instinct | With enough focus, Ferchie is able to hone his hearing into detecting truth from falsehood in voices.


SKILLSET.
Like all macaques, Ferchie is an excellent climber. His slight frame makes it easier to swing about, and though he can do this with sufficient grace, his tail is a whole other story---in its excitable warpath, many a coffee pot hath fallen. He is also fluent in all but two of Macca's twenty-two tribal dialects, as well as the Maccan Empire's co-official dialect of High Mal'ac, the other co-official language being Solymus Standard. At the Academy, he managed to procure a somewhat working knowledge of four (and counting) other foreign planet languages such as Feliak. As for skills that fall under the category of hobby, would be Ferchie's love of juggling things with his tail, playing cards, and chess.
