New Home, New Family

Rubbing Jensen's shoulder soothingly, Jared cooed in the shorter's ear, "Don't worry, buddy. We're almost done."

And soon enough, Misha was done rinsing the shampoo from their baby's hair. Taking Jensen out of the tub, and drying him with a fluffy towel, and three began to get dressed.

Jensen whined and squirmed as Jared was trying to get his pj's on him, making it difficult. He was still upset from the bath.

Jared rubbed Jensen's tummy and shushed his whines, "I know you didn't like us washing your hair, buddy."

Almost sprinting to the living room, Jared placed Jensen down on his blanket, getting the feeling their little one didn't want to be held.

Misha stood in the doorway and frowned. It seemed like their baby's first bath time didn't end too well.

However, when Jensen was laid down, he reached up at his Daddies, whimpering softly. He couldn't help the urge to be held. He was a baby, and babies were supposed to be held.

Picking Jensen right back up, Jared frowned, "Sorry, baby. You just didn't seemed like you wanted to be held."

Walking to the pair, Misha rubbed Jensen's back, "Ready for bedtime?"

"How about a bedtime story?" Misha offered, bedtime was right around the corner, and neither caretaker wanted a cranky baby.

Exchanging an albeit somber look, both men brought Jensen to his nursery, where they placed him in his crib. Giving him some stuffed animals to cuddle with, and a blanket to keep him warm.

Each giving Jensen's forehead a kiss, and turning on the night light, Misha and Jared left the nursery, ready for tomorrow.

Jensen sleeps through the night without waking up, and wakes up the next morning, whining and fussing from a wet diaper.

Hearing Jensen's whines and fusses, Jared entered the nursery and shushed the shorter softly as he changed Jensen's diaper.

Frowning a bit at Jensen's grumpiness, Jared nonetheless managed the change him. Picking Jensen up and placing him on his hip, they left for the kitchen.

Turning around from his cooking, Misha smiled at the pair, before quirking a brow and asking, "How's our little guy?"

"Still grumpy, I think," Jared replied.

Jensen grumbled as he was being put in his highchair. This was unusual behavior for him, because he was usually so happy and giggly.

Both caretakers exchanged a worried look at their baby's grumpiness. Hopefully it would go away soon...they just had to be patient.

Starting to feed Jensen, Jared kept a smile on his face and cooed to the shorter.

Feeling a bit dejected, Jared frowned and looked at the floor, picking up the spoon. Meanwhile, Misha gave a sad look before he stood beside Jensen in his highchair, "Baby, you shouldn't have done that to Daddy. What's got you all upset?"

Jensen looked up at Misha and pouted sadly. He reached up at him and made grabby hands at him, wanting to be held.
