Hi, I'm JC and I like rping. I'm new to forum rping, but I have seen this place mentioned a lot, so I figured I could perhaps give it a try.
I dunno what to even put into an introduction, so I'm going to ramble on a bit more to make it look like there's substance to this forum post when in fact there really isn't. It just makes you wonder, what constitutes substance in a post? Is it word count? Word count seems important, but is it really? Does every single word actually contribute something meaningful to the conversation, the activity at hand, the task to be resolved, or the action to transpire? Naw, not really, it's just fluff.
Flavor text is the finest tool if mastered. If unmastered and used haphazardly, flavor text is just useless arbitrary text that expands the post to ever greater lengths without adding anything significant to the goal in mind, task to be progressed, or the world at large. Makes you wonder then, why someone would just sit down and write so many, many words out when they're clearly calling to attention that just adding more words is a contrived and irresponsible activity when done for the sake of propagation.
That's a hard question to answer, so I'll ask you a different one: how you doin? As of the end of this long winded talk about nothing, it's ten at night and it's comfy af where I am. If you read through all this, congratulations, my friend. If you couldn't, I don't blame you, I could barely get through it myself and I was the one writing it all.
