Greyson frowned and held onto her "Was he Nico's Daddy as well?" He asked her, washing his hands when he was done and went to the car with her, holding onto her "Mommy is Charlie and Abby gonna be there?" He asked her hopefully while she drove and he watched out the window "Are they gonna do hot dogs? Can I have a bedtime story tonight?" He asked, just talking off the top of his head.

She smiled, taking the meat into the kitchen and kept it covered to keep it warm, going to get Pedro another drink and let José answer the door when people started arriving.

Max smiled happily and gave a nod "Yes baby he was." She murmured before she started driving again. She answered his questions everytime before they got there and he ran inside to play. She walked into the kitchen smiling wide seeing Carmen and Pedro "Hey you two! I brought some drinks and chips." She said happily

Pedro smiled happily at her and thanked her for bringing his drink "Lets get inside." He said happily while turning off the grill. He smiled happily seeing Max come in and waved and her sipping his drink before he went to get the cold sides out of the fridge

Carmen smiled, thanking her and went to put everything out ready "Hey, Javiera's running a little late and Oscar is bringing the boys cause Elvira's working but we're gonna get food ready to be served in a little bit. I got the kid's snacks out on the patio." She told her, "How's everything been?m Feeling free with Greyson at school full time now?" She smiled.

Charlie had wandered away from the kids and found one of his rags plus a pacifier in his room and he toddled over to his Dad, reaching to be picked up, just wanting cuddles "Daddy!" He fussed when Pedro hadn't seen him yet.

Max smiled happily and went to sit with her giving a small nod "Alright that sounds good." She murmured before she gave another nod "I do, but I still miss him. I'm just glad this studio is very flexible with my hours." She explained smiling more "How are things here? You and Pedro doing good?"

Pedro looked at Charlie and gave a small smile chuckling some as he picked up his youngest son "Oh hello buddy! How are you doing?" He asked taking him to sit down in the living room sitting on the couch for cuddles

Charkie smiled and held onto his Dad tightly, "Daddy I like Eggy," He told him, talking about Edgar but unable to pronounce his name properly at all "He silly." He told him, "Where's Mommy?" He asked him, looking around. He loved his Dad but out of the four of them he was the momma's boy.

Carmen smiled some, getting her a drink and watching the kids play outside and the older two sit with the nintendo switch playing together "Things aren't bad. Charlie's doing a little better at the minute which is a relief. I swear every grey hair on my head is from him." She mumbled, shaking her head some, "Pedge is home pretty much all summer then he's going off to film some movie in the fall. You been talking to anyone or seeing anyone?" She asked her.

Max smiled as she watched the kids shrugging some "Oh thats good to hear. I'm glad Charlie is doing good." She murmured before sipping her drink "I haven't been actively looking, but there Greyson has a friend and his father is very attractive." She said laughimg a bit "I'll find someone sometime, but I really don't want to go on like dating sites."

Pedro chuckled softly and smiled happily "Oh yeah? Well Edgar loves you too buddy." He murmured kissing his cheek gently "She is in the kitchen talking with Auntie Max." He said happily to him.

Carmen nodded some, going to get the door when she heard it go and let Oscar with his boys in and then Javiera when she arrived, going to get the food sorted and enjoy Talia's welcome home party, ending up with Charlie in her arms most of the afternoon and evening seeing as he was feeling clingy and she let him be for now, too tired to argue it or force him to get down.

Max smiled happily and chatted with everyone for the night. She always liked having these times with them, it made her feel like she had that family again. She took a very sleepy Greyson home after it started to wind down and said goodbye to everyone.

Greyson had been running around like crazy all morning, super excited when he had woken up to discover it was his 5th birthday and they were having a party with everyone over to a pizza party at their house later, “Mommy when is Alfie gonna get here?” She asked him.

Carmen was exhausted. She’d been up all through the night with a poorly Charlie and now she could barely keep her eyes open as Pedro was bringing her breakfast in bed. “Mmm.... morning, I think... I don’t know anymore.” She mumbled, reaching for him. She had loved having him home all summerwith the kids and things seemed to be on the up for them as a family but Charlie had been sick again for the past week solid and she was worried again. “It’s greysons party today. Talia has pony camp though and José is at Connors so it’s just us and the terrible tinies.” She mumbled

Max smiled softly at him and finished putting up more of his decorations "In a few hours baby, everyone is coming later." She said happily before giving him a hug "You're ready for everyone to come huh?"

Pedro brought up some breakfast to Carmen and gave her a small smile kissing her cheek gently sighing seeing Charlie asleep next to her. He was getting worried about his youngest son recently with how sick he had been. He sat next to Carmen giving a sigh "Well if he isn't feeling good and if you aren't I want you to stay home okay? If you're not feeling up for it I'll take them both, I don't mind." He murmured

She rest her head on his shoulder and took his hand tightly. “Mmm I think he should stay home. Why don’t you stay with him and I’ll take Abby for a little bit. Just to see max and say hi.” She mumbled, looking up at him with big dark circles under her eyes from lack of sleep. “I’ll caffeinated myself. I’ll be fine.” She mumbled.

he nodded excitedly and kissed her cheek. “I love you mommy. Is Nico gonna be there?” He asked hopefully. He knew Nico as a cousin and he still adored him. “Mommy can I have toaster waffles for breakfast?” He asked her hopefully.

Pedro frowned softly at her and raise an eyebrow "You sure? I don't mind taking her." He said before giving a small sigh "Alright, don't stay too long okay? I want you to rest." He murmured before kissing her forehead gently

Max smiled happily at him "I love you too baby." She murmured before biting her lip when he asked about Nico. Her relationship with Teresa had only gotten worse since Clay died and seeing Nico was like pulling teeth most days "He was invited baby, I hope he will come." She said softly before giving him a nod and grabbing some waffles to make them from some breakfast

She smiled and just leaned into him a little more, "You smell nice, you've already showered, got my favorite cologne on." She mumbled, moving the breakfast tray to the side once she was done eating and cuddled in close to Pedro again, "Did you talk to the kids last night?" She asked him quietly. A week ago he had proposed to her and as much as she wanted to marry him, she had been adamant that he get permission from the twins first.

Greyson nodded and followed her to the kitchen, getting his favorite cup out and sat at the table with her for breakfast. 'Mommy... Am I ever gonna have another Daddy?" He asked her curiously, rubbing the last of the sleep from his face.

Pedro smiled widely at her and cuddled up close to her nodding some "Yeah my hair was disgusting this morning." He murmured before sighing softly and shaking his head "No I wanted to wait until they were both here. I'll ask them tonight I promise." He murmured smiling softly at her

Max nearly choked on her juice at his question and took a deep breath. He hadn't asked it yet and it had taken her by surprise "Well baby I'm not sure, I might meet someone but I hope some day you will." She said softly running a hand through his hair gently before smiling softly at him.

She smiled tiredly, "Mmm, you okay to watch him while I shower?" She asked, pecking his cheek when he agreed, getting out of bed carefully and made her way to get ready for the day.

Charlie woke up a few minutes later, grumbling a little and looked around for his mom, only hearing the shower going and not knowing where she was, starting to cry and try to get into the bathroom, "Mommy!" He sobbed, banging on the door until he felt his Dad pick him up "I want Mommy." He whimpered, trying to push away from Pedro.

Greyson got her a napkin then sat down again to finish his breakfast and nodded "Most of my friends have a mommy and a daddy... I think i'd like a new one.... Can I pick which one?" He asked her, reaching for cuddles and just wanting attention as always. He would get a shock to the system once he was no longer the only other person in the house and he had to fight for attention.

Pedro had keft rhe room to make Charlie some juice for when he woke up. He went wide eyed though when he heard Charlie yelling and quickly went up picking him up and taking him downstairs "Hey bud its okay. I know you want mommy but she has to shower so she doesn't get stinky." He explained before handing him his juice cup

Max smiled softly and gave a small laugh "Well baby it doesn't really work like that." She said before kissing the top of his head and held him close sighing softly "Why don't you go get dressed and we can go pick up your cake."

Charlie kept whining and trying to get down until he got his juice and just sipped at it "Daddy I feel bad." He told him, sniffling a little and held onto him, "I want cuddles." He whimpered, shivering a little as his temperature was climbing again and he was starting to feel more feverish.

Greyson nodded quickly and rushed up to his room, putting on his spiderman costume, running downstairs again and went to fins his shoes, eventually managing to locate the second shoe and left the house with her

Pedro gave a heavy sigh and nodded some getting him some medicine "Here bud take this and then we can have some cuddles." He murmured knowing he was due for some. He sat down with him after some bribing of a new toy next time they went out cuddling his son close "We'll get you better bud."

Max laughed lightly at how adorable he was and quickly took him out to get the last few things before the party. When it came around lunch time she looked around the house smiling seeing mostly everyone there aside from Carmen who had texted her to say she was running just a little late. She held a drink in hand and smiled softly waving at Ubbe who was walkimg her way "Hey there, thank you so much for coming. Greyson is so excited to introduce Alfie to everyone."

Charlie was enjoying one-on-one time with his Dad for the day while he was curled up to him, watching Disney movies on TV< "Daddy, can I have more juicey?" He asked him tiredly, rubbing his little face and looking up at him, looking the spitting image of Carmen with that expression.

Carmen eventually made it and sent Abby in first with the present while she got her phone out the car and eventually made her way inside as well, "Hey, hey, sorry I'm late, I had to take the twins to their camps and Charlie's been sick all night again but Abby was desperate to come do- Oooh, who is that fine tall glass of water?" She asked her as she had finally spotted Ubbe crouched over by Greyson and Alfie

Max smiled happily as Carmen came in and shook her head "No don't worry about it at all, we were about to do pizza." She said happily before looking over at Ubbe and blushing lightly "That is Ubbe, he is the father of Greyson's best friend from school." She explained smiling more "They're new here and we've been helping show them around."

Pedro smiled softly at Charlie and gave a nod "Of course bud." He murmured kissing the top of his head before making him some more juice. He sat back down with him and gave a small sigh starting to really get concerned about him "How are you feeling buddy?"

Carmen nodded and smiled. “And if he’s single you’re gonna go snatch him up before anyone else does. You don’t want Claudia getting her hands on him.” She muttered meaning the PTA mom at Abby and greysons school.

He just grumbled quietly, still feeling real crummy and snuggled close to his dad. “When’s mommy and Abby coming home?” He asked her quietly.

Max gave a small laugh and bit her lip as she watched him a bit "I dunno Carmen...I like him, I wouldn't mind possibly having a date but I don't think he has those same feelings." She said before sipping at her drink "And I'd really like to not make a fool of myself and have things be awkward when our son's are so close."

Pedro gave a small nod yawned some "Yeah they'll be home soon." He whispered to him "You want to watch another movie?" He asked seeing as the one they were watching had now finished

Carmen smiled as he walked over to them. “Hi, max said you’re new to the area.... I’m carmen.... you know.... this woman can show you every really decent little coffee shop in the neighbourhood.... I think you should take her to show you round some more.” She smiled at him.

Charlie frowned some and held onto Pedro. “Daddy my tummmy sore.” He mumbled before being sick all over the couch and himself.

Max went wide eyed at Carmen and gave a small laugh "Hi Ubbe, don't listen to this one. She is a crazy woman." She said before giving him a smile "How is Alfie getting along with everyone?"

Pedro went wide eyed and quickly took him to the bathroom "Shit, come on bud bath time." He murmured gettimg him stripped and into the tub before he called Carmen wanting to let her know about what happened and that he wanted to take him to the doctor.

Carmen had got Abby some pizza and was sat on a chair with her when her phone rang, “Hey, how’s our little poorly one?” She asked him, wiping the edge of abbys mouth and smiled.

Ubbe smiled some. “Coffee sounds really good actually. I like Starbucks but..... anywhere you recommend?” He asked her sheepishly, following her into the kitchen to give her a hand with some
