New and shy, whats up?

When I first entered this site, I was lurking around for quite a while. I've been interested in RPing again despite it being so long since I've attempted to do so, and with that being said, I feel quite rusty. I'm somewhat intimidated by the idea of talking to random people, but I hope to find at least a few friends and partners to have some fun with! I enjoy comics a ton, love art, and will hopefully be starting college this fall.

I love building characters and worlds, and my word count for a post could range from a few sentences to a few paragraphs. I like being flexible, and would love to plan out a plot with a partner. I am definitely interested in starting some 1x1s with some of you folks! I am drawn towards a large range of plots, but mostly ones that are more on the fantasy/supernatural/sci-fi/dark side of things, with a handful of fandoms I would also love to explore.

It's good that you've been working on it, at least! I still have a lot to work on myself, that's for sure. But it's always nice to be able to get out of your shell once in a while.

welcome! I've been doing for about 6 years now in total though only coming up on a year in this site. I haven't come across an unfriendly person yet. everyone is super nice and never hesitate to ask for help you've already made a great start in getting involved by introducing yourself!

Yeah, I can totally understand with that. Personally, it makes me less nervous to have an introduction post compared to randomly commenting in threads. Not really sure why that is, but I guess I just want to give a good 'first impression'.
