"My siblings and I would use to pretend that we would slay dragons and go out on adventures. This one time when I was 7, maybe 8, we went hiking in the woods. I was the leader, I had never got to be the leader before, on a mission." Her eyes sparkled with the excitement of that day coming back to her. "It was winter time, the snow was freshly fallen, ankle deep and only had elk tracks in it. I was leading them to thE treasure that was hide in the bottom of the tree, that the evil elk was protecting. As we drew closer to the tree, we saw standing there a 4 foot elk, it had Magnificat antlers upon his head, snow covered his brown back. He was the most gergous thing I had ever seen at that point in my life." Ellie looked overwhelmed by joy. She loved talking about animals she has seen especially when they where so precious and perfect at that time. "We tried to scary the elk off like children do with loud noise, throwing things and moving towards it, but none of our tactics worked. I sent my older brother to be the distraction while me and my sister got out the treasure from inside the tree." She let go of his hand and touched a necklace that was made of simple yarn and a acorn that you could pick up off of the ground just any where. "This was the treasure inside. Three acorn necklaces. One for each of the adventures that day. One fro each of the brave souls that risked thier lives."
