Im gonna go under the assumption that, if she uses the CDD when others use it, the signals hers transmits would null the effect of the others rendering her to keep her ears and tail hidden.
Also, you said under magic that manipulation isn't allowed. Is that ANYTHING that can be manipulated (elements, etc) or...? To me it wasn't all that clear >.<

Hmm... then I might have to improvise... say her ability is enhanced cloaking that would be able to withstand the devices for a set amount of time.
Or I can fuck it and just have her be extremely careful.
