Need New Artist: End of Chapter One

It is with great sadness I say that the lovely Kate Ashwin is stepping down from Scroll of Ivy due to just plain not having enough time. This isn't too surprising, considering she has her own comic, Widdershins, that updates three times a week. It's been great working with her.

But this does mean I need to find a new artist to continue my story. (I'm not rebooting it like I did for Agents of Yu-Shan. I'm quite happy with how the story is going.) If anyone knows someone or websites, that would be fantastic. We have 5 more updates to the end of the chapter, and then I'll need to get the new artist on board. They will be paid about $55 per page.


Speaking of which, end of chapter 1 in 5 updates! (3 Regular, 2 "interludes") Huzzah!
 
Hi there, well I can't help but try and see if I could be of any help.


Currently I don't have a webcomic of my own, but I do have a bit of artwork I have done in the past, some of it it's recent, while some it's a bit old.


I am a huge Exalted fan, which I think might be a big plus, and if you like, I could do a test page in case you need to see more of my artwork and see if my style fits what you're looking for.

Hey, just checking in to do an update on the delay.


I've done about 3 practice pages, so I think I'm as close to emulating the current art best I can. I'm now doing a full re-draw of page 'Ch1 Pg31'


By tonight I shall present the re-draw as well as an un-emulated page. This is so you may see the difference between my copy skill and actual skill.


Is there a better way to contact you or shall this forum be good?
 
it was done days ago, but due to email issues and the like it was looong overdue.


I can not express my shame enough :(
