Need a New Tokyo Ghoul Role-Play Partner~

Hi there! My name is Vee, and this is my story. (I may or may not have played FFX way too many times the past few days)


I have been fairly into Tumblr RP, and I actually achieved some semi-success with an OC that I had created for Tokyo Ghoul. She'd gotten fairly popular through a fanfiction that I had written, the fanfiction was about my OC, and her relationship with Uta.


(I know, I know, you're all probably rolling your eyes at this point.)


Now let me preface this by saying that I put a literal ton of research into this character, way beyond likes and dislikes, and I had really made an effort to make her a natural and believable part of the Tokyo Ghoul universe.


It was kind of on a whim, but someone I had met had been a super talented Uta RPer, and they had suggested that I open my character to RPing. This person wanted to basically write out this epic storyline between these two characters, and to be honest it was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed writing with someone else WAY more than I thought I would.


However, a few months into this, literally right as we were about to really push the characters into some serious development, my partner pulled a literal full-stop and backed out. It was very sudden, I was left with a kind of like "Hey wait a minute!" feeling.


TLR - I lost my RP partner very suddenly and we also wrote a Canon x OC pairing.


I basically want to write the pairing again with someone else, I want to really develop these characters together with someone. I would love to RP with an Uta again, and have someone to bounce ideas back off of and really work to write scenarios that we would both find enjoyable and fun. I'm open to changing things and working with anyone.


I swear I'm nice! I just tend to really enjoy detail and really well-thought out plotlines.


I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in this, since I feel like it's seriously such an odd request, but I figure I'll never know until I try.

ALIAS:


Like Maiko herself, the name Hortensia also carries several double meanings. Often heard in ballet, she was given the nickname to symbolize her elegant leaps she became known for whilst fighting in her teens. However, the name also symbolized the flowers seen on her mask, which some say symbolize vanity and boastfulness, yet others believe they also symbolize heartfelt intentions and feelings.


PERSONALITY:


While Maiko is not exactly world famous yet, she certainly plans to be. She’s had two hit singles from her album, Just Desserts, although what the title song refers to, is not exactly public knowledge. She is impetuous, and thrives off of praise to hide an inwardly fragile ego and personality.


Despite her desire to be worshipped and applauded for her musical and dancing talents, she is rather aloof and very difficult to get close to. She feels that close relationships are something that are easily ruined and taken away, and as a result she feels that getting close to others results in more pain than she can handle.


However, in spite of these issues, once she is won over, she is loyal almost to the point of lunacy, which can result in her being easily manipulated by people that she loves.


In relationships, particularly romantic ones, Maiko is a whirlwind of mixed messages, greedy and giving, needy and distant, which can be very frustrating although she does not mean to be. She is still not very good at opening up to others, although for a partner, she’s a lot more willing to try, provided she feels that there is no possibility of rejection. She needs a partner who is firm and willing to push her enough so that she feels both entertained and loved.


EATING HABITS:


Due to issues in her youth, Maiko has a difficult time eating. Although she has no problems killing humans, she has a phobia of cannibalism, and at times can irrationally trick herself into believing that the human she’s feasting on is actually a ghoul, particularly if the food has not been hunted by her.


As a result she is obsessive about where her food comes from. She has found that it is often easiest to partake in food when she is senseless with hunger, which allows her not to overthink her meals and just eat.


Combining these factors with the meager meals given to her by her manager however, results in a lot of accidental deaths and suspicions surrounding her as an idol.
