A man in a white suit proceeded to step out of the screen, and not a holographic projection, for this was a real man, a man in a white suit.
"Now, report to the air-lock and be on your way for briefing," said the man before he walked off.'

The year is 2678, where space travel is possible, and all. The Universe is ruled by 3 corporations. They all rose to power for different reasons, are the "law and order" of the universe. The first one is.
Stardust= A company that rose to power after taking control of multiple mining, mineral refinery, and resource collection stations in 2322. They rose to power with advanced technology made out of the minerals and resources they were able to find within their properties. They control multiple trade routes present-day, and usually handle all supplies that go in and out of their controlled sectors.
The second.
Slipspace= A corporation that swiftly rose to power with their advances in technology directly involved with space travel through the years of 2078-2322. They rose to power alongside Stardust, and combined their technologies to create a Draconian empire.
The third.
Phaser= A company/corporation that slowly but surely made their way up in power by continually working on advances in weaponry fit for space throughout the years of 2220 to 2322. They built some of the most technologically advanced weaponry for the three corporations today, including Phaser itself.
These three form Ende, the gigantic corporation that fully rules
the Universe. The three corporations formed together in the year of 2322, where they formed their powers in weaponry, space travel, and resource collection to rule a Draconian empire of a severe nature, any one caught under their jurisdiction could have been executed for the simplest of crimes. They control the majority of the universe and it's sectors, except the Dark Zone. The Dark Zone is a small zone of space that is covered by a highly potent and dangerous nebula, being the reason as to why Ende was never able to expand into it.
And you, well you.. You are from the Dark Zone, as a part of the crew of "The Knight", where you will proceed on your quest to go on your first mission, sever an Ende supply line formed by Stardust. And you, dear player, are you a mercenary? Are you simple an adventurer waiting to find what lies beyond the nebula? Seek, and you shall see.
