I really like these, and would prefer them over the standard ones. Particularly if we were allowed to shuffle a few dots around to accommodate them, and/or were given the option of raising the bg with xp.

If I can use Bestowal of Accursed Fortune to raise my own or others', that'd be perfect

You can, spelled out in VEE. No favor, normal xp costs, can go into xp debt.

Except of course that, BoAF specifically states: "The Backgrounds that may be improved by this Charm are as follows: Abyssal Command, Allies, Acquaintances, Backing, Command, Connections, Contacts, Cult, Followers, Henchmen, Influence, Mentor, Resources, Reputation, Retainers, Salary, Sifu and Spies."


Unwoven Coadjutor is not on that list.

Lance is going to prioritize getting Cy'Diran away from his kidnapper, and he won't use force that looks like it'll hurt the kid. If need be he'll use his Amazing Dawn Caste knowledge of hand locks to disable the kidnapper's grip to get Cy'Diran away.
