I mean, there's like, a complete fucking turnaround in his journey of life, but i mean, he takes it like a champ. Definetely the one with the most fortitude, he's probably got a stronger soul than anyone else on the show.

I mean, he had his whole world ripped out from under him, then he spent the rest of his time hunting for an impossible objective, but did he stop? HELL NO. He fought and dug around untill he found the muthafuckin avatar. After that, he spent another good chunk of his life being humilated by said avatar, getting his ass whooped again and again, but he STILL got up, and he STILL never quit. Then he had his whole world ripped out from under him AGAIN, and ate shit to JOIN the very person he was hunting, and worked WITH him to fight on his side. And even then, he never stopped fighting, even after the fire lord was defeated. He had to rule a whole fucking country on his own

But i think aang needs credit too. The whole "fate rests in the hands of a 12 year old boy" thing. And he didnt have much help in the avatar part of his life. I mean the gang helped with learning how to bend and moral support but he was all alone as the avatar AND as an air bender. He couldnt seek much guidance unless he accidentally tapped into the spirit world again.


I mean Zuko, by far, had the hardest life but in some ways i think Aang did too. Mostly just the pressure of being the avatar and the only airbender left.


But ye Zuko had a lot on his plate. He easily couldve became Azula xD
