Hello bum bear, I need to know before I reserve a spot a few things. One will you be making a original character? Two can you write at least 2 paragraphs per response with decent consistency. Three have you read through the rules and regulations of this rp? Lastly if you join would you be in it for the long haul. I don't want to have people joining who can't do those things, I am looking for quality rpers that want to stay through this rp for as long as possible without just abandoning their character, and everyone they rp with. @Bum Bear

Answer time! Yes, I will be making an original character since character creation is my favorite part of rping. I do tend to write about 3-4 paragraphs consistently or more if I have enough to work which I doubt that be a problem here. As for quality, I can send you one of my old responses to an rp if you'd like. Moving on to question 3, I did read the rules but was unsure of where to put my character's favorite color since the child is still in the making (Poor baby). As of now, I am quite the free person so I do believe I can be on for as long as the journey continues. Anymore questions for this Bum. (Don't let the Bum fool ya, I'm only a bum when it comes to physical labor.)

I'm a bum too, so no need to worry. And I would love to see an old post of yours. You can post it here. Honestly after the last person (Whom's CS and my response to it I deleted) I have to be very careful. So precautions are necessary.

@Morgrim

I understand, no worries. Here are couple of them. Hope they meet your *expectations.

She loved the forest. The sweet scent of wild flowers, the wet mud that clumped together underneath her elongated feet, the leaves dancing to the whistling of the wind. Everything about this place was wonderful. Nothing could ever compare to the serenity she felt beneath the brown of thick tree branches covered in a variety of sharpened pine needles. The wind blew softly, thin leaves raining down on her as if to greet the young beast human. Akua was pleased. It had been quite awhile since she journeyed into such a magnificent place having only ventured down man-made paths since the last village she visited. She had grown tired of rock filled roads, and so decided to take a little detour through the neck of the woods.

She giggled, nostalgia beginning to take over the tiny blue body of hers. It wasn't the same forest she had been born in, but it was a forest nonetheless. Unconsciously, she started to hop, her feet dancing across the moist earth. With her dancing feet came a small tune which soon evolved into a melody, the soft breath of the wind becoming her chorus. Loud then soft. Rapid hums devolved into melodic croaks, a sudden accompaniment by the chirping of the birds made the tune all the more enjoyable. It continued for a few moments, Akua body shifting from a high jump to a mid-air back flip to a then mid-air spin. This was so much fun, but as always he had to find someway to ruin it. During her second leap, a high-pitched squeal caused her to lose balance, falling face first onto the ground.

"AKUA! Can't you see I'm trying to get my beauty sleep here?" the voice hollered, the frog girl groaning at the sound. Lifting up her face, she slowly turned her head at the disturbance that sat on her cloaked shoulder in the form of a rock doll. It had no face except for the bright yellow eyes that furrowed in anger. For something that didn't have eyebrows or a mouth, it sure had plenty of facial expressions.

"Oh, sorry Cephas. I keep forgetting that you're there." she apologized, shaking the dirt off her face, the red bows holding her hair slamming against her cheeks.

"Forgot! How could you ever forget me? Am I not only the -" he rambled, Akua tuning him out to avoid the headache she was sure to get if she continued listening to him. Why did her Astral had to be so naggy? She understood that he was upset about not having his 'beautiful form' , as he called it, but that didn't mean he had to yell at her all the time. Akua was beginning to think that it would be better to leave him on some mountain. At least if he was there no one would be able to tell him apart from the others. Besides, why did he even need beauty sleep? He was a rock wasn't he? If he wanted to become prettier then she was sure he'd have to go on for another few millenniums under a volcano or something to become a diamond or sapphire. A ruby fit him the best. A sigh escaped her lips as she pushed herself upwards, the rock doll still rambling on about the importance of sleep and its health benefits to the skin. Ha, skin. He didn't have any of that, so he subtly agreed that he himself didn't need it. Oh well, Cephas was Cephas.

"Hey are you even listening to me!" he screamed once again, Akua somewhat prepared for it.

"Ahuh. Yea. Face, sleep, stuff right?" she mumbled, magenta eyes focused on the invisible road ahead.

"Hmph! If I was in my true form you wouldn't dare speak to me in such manner. You'd be groveling at my feet begging me for attention. Oh how I miss my body. Did I ever tell you the time this mutt came up to me asking for a date . . . " here he goes again. Maybe she should've listened to him. She didn't know if he was simply a braggart or just going through a bad case of depression. Either way, it was still bad for her. As he droned on about his . . . whatever he was saying, Akua felt her stomach growl, the leaves hidden underneath her father's cloak shaking at the sound. Food. Was there any food here? Maybe an abundance of mosquitoes, but the effort she'd have to put in to get them would just make her hungrier. Thinking to herself, she could swear she heard the sound of joyous laughter and . . . singing? Or some variation of it. The noises were corrupting her thoughts, her mind unable to block both Cephas complaining and the music at the same time. She almost croaked, until she began putting the pieces together.

"Hey Cephas do you hear that?" she questioned, interrupting the small doll in the middle of his story.

"No I do not hear "that"! Anyway . . . is that laughing and music?" he muttered. The golem extended his head out a bit to listen as if he had ears to hear with.

"Yeah! When you hear singing that means there's people. When there's people that means there's a village. A-"

"Or a band of blubbering thieves. Oh wait, how about a group of mercenaries after a big hunt. Wait, I got it! How about rogues killing a man for god knows what. Does that sound about right?" he interrupted, a vein popping onto her head. Okay, maybe she messed up a little bit in the past, but he didn't have to hold it against her.

"Okay. Anyway, a village means food. So lets go get some!" she slobbered, drool hanging from her chin as her tongue threatened to fall along with it.

"No, we're not going! It might be something entirely different like it usually is!" he refuted.

"They might have alcohol."

"A-Al-Alcohol?" he stuttered, the thought of ale making his stones shiver.

"Yep." she stated. Akua knew she had him now.

"Hmph. Let's go then. But a quick bite and we're out, got it?" Oh she got him good.

Nodding her head, she smiled cheerfully as she skipped towards the village (maybe). Please don't let it be bandits again.

Not good. Leona's head was pounding like crazy, her hand rushing to her mouth as she felt the bile rise in her throat. Disgusting. The sour taste of beer caused her to gag, tonight's dinner threatening to spill all over the station stairs. Just a little bit more. If she could get to the bottom she was sure she could make it before the last train left, brown eyes smiling at the sight of a bright light. She had made it. The train was just pulling in, now all she had to do was get there, or so she thought. Tan hands held onto the railing for dear life, legs shaking with each forward step down. Just a little more, and ... there! A wrong step had caused her to lose her grip, her body falling into the pool of light she thought to be the headlight of the train, the white stinging her eyes. Oh God, why? A mixture of green and brown fell from her mouth, the light engulfing her body. Damn, she threw it up.

Expecting to feel chunks of undigested chicken and fries on her shirt, she was surprised of how 'un-meaty' it was. In fact, her shirt wasn't even wet, but unexpectedly dry. Did she somehow miss her shirt? Maybe it fell onto her pants? No, her pants were dry too, but they felt more like skin then it did rough cotton. Was it weird that she could feel her nails scratch against her leg, the barrier of her pants being non-existent? And speaking of weird, why did it get so loud all of the sudden? The wind blew coldly against her skin ... wind? There was no wind underground. Rubbing the black rings out of her eyes, she opened them slowly, flinching at the sight of the sun. Had it been daytime already? She was sure that she had just left the pub a few minutes ago while the moon was still at it's peak. Was she that drunk? Rubbing her head, she waited for her eyes to adjust before opening them fully, utterly surprised at the sight before her. Yep, she was drunk. How else could she explain the weird fantasy like structures around her, people (what she assumed were people) walking around with appendages that she was pretty sure belonged to an animal more than it did a human.

Now that she got a better look, this place looked more like something out of an RPG rather than an actual city. A booming voice caused her ears to perk, tail standing at attention to the little person making an announcement on top of a higher building. How cute. What was the kid going to say?

. . .

What? Could she repeat that one more time for her? Leona wasn't sure she heard that correctly. If she had heard her correctly, which she sure she didn't, apparently something on the supernatural boarding onto the god-like line was happening. Rephrasing the little girl's words she came up with this:
We are the committee people of this world, and we are not sure as to why or how you got here in the form that you are currently in. Pause. Form that she is currently in? What was she talking about? It was obvious that this was all a dream of an American woman who drunk herself silly to cope with the loss of her boyfriend. What did she mean by form she's in? She was the same tan skinned 5'8" black wo- a tail. There was a tail. A tail. Just sitting there, wiggling itself in front of her face. Literally, there was a tail, a fox's tail to be exact, right in front of her attached to nothing. Form ... she couldn't have meant.

Leona forced herself upward, jumping a little bit higher than she had set out to. In fact she found her body a few feet above ground, arms flailing in a futile attempt to balance herself. What in the world! A mere seconds away from the floor, and her arms spread instinctively outwards, the wind softening her fall. Amazingly, she found herself standing upright, eyes darting towards the sky in confusion. Returning her gaze to the front, the tail was no longer there. Placing a hand beneath her chin, she still rationalize this whole thing as a dream. Really, that's the only thing that made "EEEEPPPP!" Something furry ran across her legs. Was it a dog?! Turning her head back, she saw it, the tail. However, the tail no longer worried her, it was what it was what it was connected to that scared her. Was that? No. It couldn't be. Was that her bottom?

A small hand reached for her butt, grabbing it a few times before jumping at the strength of her pinches. It was hers alright. Well, hers in the sense of being on her, but not hers in the sense that it wasn't actually hers. The whole thing didn't make any sense, and she was afraid it wouldn't anytime soon as a sudden light flickered before her. Her small hand automatically reached out for it without her thinking of doing so. She didn't know why, but her body seemed to know what to do even if she herself didn't. As the light dissipated into nothing, she could feel something incredibly thick in her hands. A book resting in childlike hands. Small hands. Small hands. These were her hands!? Where was the feint white line of that cut she had gotten last week? The dark skin with tiny dots on it? Whose hands were these?! Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice that seemed to speak directly into her head. It told her not to do the one thing she had been doing, panicking. Although a normal reaction to this situation, she agreed with the logic behind the voice's words and calmed herself, the book opening as the words were both being spoken and written within the fold of the old book. It continued to talk, explaining this world to be a game, and blatantly stating that she should be okay with this seeing as everyone love's games.

What insane kind of rationalization was that?! It's a video game so she should enjoy it? She was chosen 'like some hero' so she should be ecstatic about being transported to this mythical realm? Normally calm and collected, this is where she would have to call bull shit. Leona could no longer refute that this wasn't a dream, the evidence slammed clearly in front of her. Complaining about it was something she felt like doing, but what was the sense in that when no one understood why they were here. The entire chosen one things being utter nonsense. Scratching her head, she could feel to elongated pieces of flesh standing symmetrical to one another. If she had a tail then ears wouldn't be too farfetched. Besides, it was becoming increasingly clear that her body had changed drastically, everyone around her becoming abnormally larger than herself when she was considered average height for an American. Reading the book further, she ran her index finger across the word class. Luckily she had some prior gaming experience before this Alice and Wonderland fever dream happened so she was somewhat familiar with the mechanics of RPG's.

A ranger huh? Hunters whose main weapon is a bow, preferring stealth tactics opposed to the normal frontal assault. The class type trades power for intellect and agility. Similar to thieves or rogues, but fundamentally different in skills, the word her finger pressed onto next. This was very much like a video game. Tracing the descriptions of her skills, it seemed she had four main ones. Soft Step, which was fundamentally a cloaking skill that hid her presence. Mimicry, fooling one's opponent by changing their form. Although this one seemed to be more of an illusion then actual shape shifting. Quite useful, but also a gamble. Next had been Sharpshooter, something typical for this class typing. It gave the user the ability to shoot multiple arrows without trouble increasing her output. Last had been Hawk Eye, the ability that allowed one to increase their accuracy. Standard skills. Looking in front of her she saw a bow stabbed into the ground, the body of a fox carved onto the center of the bow. Okay, she got it. She was a fox, did they have to run it down her throat?! Slinging the bow across her back, she also found a crimson red bag lying next to it. For her she assumed, so she slung it across her back as well.

Glancing at the book once more, she found her race to be quite unique. She hadn't been an expert at gaming to begin with, but she had never heard of there ever being an Elkin race. There was no description for what it was so she really had no clue who or what they were, and she doubted they all looked like her current self. A final look, and she slammed the book shut, the ending being incredibly hard to sit through. Shoving the talking travesty into her satchel she thought it be a good enough time as any to find a party. Parties increased a user chance of survival, but if she was going to join one she would have to find capable people. If this place held true to being a game then she wasn't going to play with annoying people like her co-workers. Stretching, she set off to find a suitable group for herself.

She knew it was going to be hard, but she didn't think it'd be this difficult. Every group she walked up to rejected her, the reasoning being that the ranger being the weakest class in the game. In all the games she played, it seemed that the swordsman was the most popular while Rangers were at the bottom of the class list overall. Gritting her teeth, she moved from group to group, feet burning against the heated gravel. Did they really have to take her shoes? Reorganizing herself, she refused to allow anger to make her decision. Rash and rushed choices was the last thing she needed to be making, and after assuring that her composure was back, she began her search again. Leona had already been to ten groups with no luck. At this rate she would find herself going solo, and that was not a risk she had been willing to take. Losing confidence, she stumbled upon a group of three men, or two men and child. Scratch that, they all looked like kids in her eyes, but with her current form being so far from the truth it was possible that all three were grown men or children given the body of one. Growing uneasy at the lack of takers, she approached them nonchalantly, the need for formality unnecessary in this already confusing place.

"
Hey, you guys over there." she called in a way that could have been a little better.

Excuse me, let me try that again. Hey you fellows over there. Are you guys in need and willing to accept a Ranger into your group?” she asked as she stood next to the shorter one of the three. It had been more comfortable standing next to him seeing as they were both the same height except for the extra few inches given to her by her ears.

"
I could be a great asset to your team. The names Leona Cross." she greeted, trying to sell them a few good points in order for them to accept her. She could not get rejected from another group. In fact she refused to.

Well I have to say it bro, you seem wonderful I would be happy to have you a part of the rp. I would love to know what you are looking forward to most, and if you have all ready read the current in character content

@Morgrim

I don't know if this is cliche, but I am lover of character development and world building so that would be what I am most looking forward to. I've never really been able to see a character fully fleshed out to their full potential in many of the other rp's I've join, so I'm hoping that won't be the case here. And to answer your second question, I am in the midst of reading it currently but I have yet to finish.

I'm glad you are reading through it, we have not gotten far in the rp at all. The last thread took like fifteen pages and two months to get through 2 days in rp. I am hoping to address that in this rebooted version.

Funny enough it was one of the least worst things, we chuckled about it all the time. It was people dropping in for 2 posts and then leaving forever that pissed me off

Totally understand the pain. I especially hate it when it's an RP where you're really interested in the plot, but are unable to proceed because people aren't posting.
