I'm a fan of third person, myself. It's a habit I developed when I started RPing back in middle school and played as nothing but a set of twins. I don't do twins anymore, but I do tend to run two characters at once. I find third person is easier than having to announce which character I'm using so they know which "I" I'm writing as.
