Character Details

Personality: Rather bookworm-like, Vozir enjoys the scholarly things. He spends far too many hours indulging in books, texts scrolls, anything he may find. He reads so often, even while walking or going out, that he may forget even to be of assistance or of advice to anyone. He takes himself to be an immortal student, always learning, always teaching what he has learned. Yet, on occasion he will mock the ideas he finds ridiculous, absurd, or archaic. Those that propose ideas that are idiotic will surely be ridiculed as well, be it slaughtering the good men of a capitol, or putting to death the kindest and honest of religious folk for no reason, though such are hard to come by.

Vozir is no leader in any context, but he will always have some word of wisdom to say, or will chastise an idiotic idea. It would surely be improper to chastise him, of course, as he is rather aged. He does hope that that offers him some form of protection. A rather viceful thought indeed, that he tries to suppress. Though, he largest vice is his self-proclaimed herald of knowledge. He is not unintelligent at all, but he takes pride on being consulted on academic or philosophical matters. He seems to have much to say or do about many matters. Yet, acting is a different story, as his combat skill is not very good. He chooses to fight with words and silence than with action and fists.

Strengths: He is very scholarly; familiar with many authors of philosophy, logic and alchemy; his abilities can be quite potent at times; and serves as a good advisor

Weaknesses: He is old and tires easily; his abilities are not optimal due to years of not practicing rigorously; he is sometimes rather prideful of himself and his abilities; he is not the kindest of people to talk with

Likes: scholarly discourse with like-minded individuals, a nice sunset, leisurely strolls, books, cleanliness

Dislikes: ignorance and idiocy, religious zealots who embody hypocrisy, chaos and disorder

History: There is far too much to say on Vozir's life so I shall abbreviate it as best as I can. His birth town, as exists on the oldest of maps, is said to be in the vicinity of Ellanor, near the outer fringes of her area of influence. However, most can trace Vozir to his early youth, where, an orphan, he was taken in by clerics to become a new priest. They educated him well, and imbued in him a sense of passion for learning. He read book after book, commentary after commentary, until there was nothing left to read. Yet, as he matured, and the clerics started to separate him from his books, he was rather resistant of it. He found the priestly teachings they had to be distasteful, loathsome, dry, repetitive, and worst of all, idiotic. So he quit and departed, heading out to find some sort of purpose.

The trail of tales follows him to the small settlement of Swarth's Pass, somewhat north from the clerical building he was raised at (which has long since been discarded of). Given his stance on philosophy and thought, he had sought to become a student under a rather famed wizard by the name of Steteris the Wise. The next proceeding years was when Vozir became an apt student of philosophy, but also was given instruction of arcane and light magick. Vozir stayed as a student under him on two conditions: first, that he would be the manager of the gardens (work with which Vozir was not familiar with to being with). The second condition was that, not including any acts of disobedience, Steteris would decide when Vozir was to depart. Up until then, however, Steteris would be his teacher, his counselor, his guide.

The decision to let Vozir to leave was never reached, as the growing presence of the Silver Legion quickly overwhelmed Swarth's Pass after taxation payments were missed. Vozir and Steteris were captured and, deciding that Riglov could have use for a scholar, decided to kill Steteris and keep the younger and very talented Vozir in his employ. Though, it was a prison-like scenario, of course, Riglov was never reluctant to fund or seek the advice of Rozir, be it for torture contraptions, or the employ of faeries as a captain's guard. Alas, the curious part is that Vozir never openly resisted King Riglov, or tried to escape. He saw it as pointless, as he would have made no such impact. The powers of the Silver Legion far outweighed those of his own, and Riglov would always act childishly cruel to anyone that step in his path. That, and Riglov had attained a massive library of knowledge that he had all to himself to peruse, to explore, so long as he was guarded at all times. The conditions of this prisonship were far too good, despite the wickedness of the Silver Legion.

Perhaps it was disinterest in the events Riglov endured. Perhaps it was because he had long awaited a fellowship foretold in ancient legends.

Relationships: He has a very keen interest on a certain Guide by the name of Morgrim Hemwick. Also, he has a complicated employment arrangement with King Riglov, whereas he is forced to do bidding for the king under threat of excruciating torture, he does so nonetheless.

Goals: to protect the realm from whatever darknesses threaten to ruin it, and to be of aid to whatever group supports his cause

Fears: to fail in protecting the realm from harm, to be buried alive, to be forced to consume acid

-War song: Singing war songs while in battle enhances her allies abilities and discourages her enemies from attacking her. (basically gives the party advantage and when an enemy tries attacking her specifically, they have disadvantage and would rather attack someone else).
-Illusion: The ability to create a realistic illusion perceived by a single person. She can only maintain it for a few seconds but she is able to do it frequently in a single day.

-Her right leg, from ankle to mid calf has a burn that healed a long time ago, but still marks her skin.

Weight: 125 lbs

Character Details

Personality: She dotes on her friend and mentor, Vozir, and learns everything he teaches her. She reads every book/tome/scroll she can find, and she wishes that she were able to more freely roam and read whatever books she wanted, but her duties keep her busy and away from the library. Mira has alway thought she was highly intelligent, but not in scholarly ways. She has the intelligents to get out of tight situations with her charm and wit and a large amount of street smarts. When it comes to words, she would rather not debate about it for hours on end and just do the thing they were talking about, especially if it sounds potentially dangerous but fun. She loves adventure and meeting new people.

Mira is very strong minded, and opinionated, however she knows that it is wiser to listen to other’s thoughts before disclosing her own ideas. Because of how long she been in this keep, she has found herself feeling more and more like a frightened child in fear of discovery by the king or his men. Worried that it’s discovered that she doesn’t belong, she won’t be able to protect herself or hide her pointed ears.

Strengths: Charm, she’s very fair and can distract people fairly easily, she has a silver tongue that can talk her way out of almost anything, she also has great endurance and agility.

Weaknesses: She is not physically strong and relies on the group and her other strengths to get out of difficult situations. She is also impulsive and will snoop in on things that she probably shouldn’t.

Likes: Talking with like-minded individuals, dancing/singing, walking/talking with Vozir, books, cute fuzzy animals.

Dislikes: idiocy, hypocrites, pointless killing, The King, rats.

History: Miroslava Kriliči was born from a naturally gifted bard woman and a random elf male that was traveling through the land. After having Mira, her mother left the town she had previously worked in and joined a traveling troupe of players as their new singer and storyteller. Mira was raised in this and learned to sing the stories and songs from her mother, one of the other bard women in the troupe saw Mira dancing to her mother’s songs and took her under her wing to train her in dance and to use the natural magic she clearly had to make her show even better. Her mother died in an accidental fire that caused the scar on her leg and Mira took over her mother’s role and continued with the troupe until the silver legion attacked them. From what she could understand, the only reason they came after the troupe was because the king has a strong prejudice against creatures, and killed them or imprisoned them and tortured them pointlessly.

Mira escaped the attack by charming one of the soldier and got her out, angry and having just lost her home and what was left of her family, she followed the guards back to the keep. Mira wasn’t sure what exactly she would do once she was inside, but she knew that she wanted to make hell for the people that took all that he had left away from her. A bookkeeper she overheard was discussing a shipment of books that was to arrive at the castle, she hunted down the shipment and hid herself in the the books letting the curriers carry her into the belly of the beast. That’s where she met Vozir. The servants didn’t put the crate down until she was inside the castle and, coincidentally, his study. When she climbed out of the box, he talked with her and diswaded her from doing anything that would ultimately get her killed and have little effect against the Silver Legion. He hid her before she was discovered and caught by the guards, helped her gain work at the castle as a laundry girl to keep her out of the way of the king, but it allowed her to stay. He taught her to better control her power and how to use it more fully. He taught her illusion magic that she quickly picked up on and practiced in every spare moment she had. Mira grew to care for the older man in the six months that she had been here, feeling as if he was the father she never had.

Relationships: She has a close relationship with her friend and mentor, Vozir. She has a strong hatred for King Riglov, and his soldiers. There is a special place in hell for the head laundress.

Goals: To help people and make the world a happier place, and to get revenge for her family and home.

Fears: To fail, to be discovered by the king, to lose Vozir, to be locked up and never see the sky again, to lose her voice.
