All right, it is about time I start trying to get a basic outline of how we are going to do the story. My first thought was basically chapter 1 being just an intro into all of the characters. Things like building their personality, starting friendships, skill focuses and maybe like some team dynamics. Kinda like show the first week with team kind of thing. That is where it is complicated. I think what I will do is throw together a quick example using my character and then you guys can make a super short version for your characters and I will rewrite it and consult with you guys to make sure it is good by your standards. This way I am not specifically writing your characters for you and you are more or less supervising your additions to the story. Several ways we could do that. First being posting it all here... It would get pretty cluttered but everything is in one location. Second option would be you guys can upload it on fanfiction, net and make it DocX format and send it to me. Probably more of a pain but not as cluttered.

Aisuku Nara, the son of Ikano Nara and Tsura Yuki. He was a very promising student and was praised as a prodigy. His father, a high chunin and respected squad leader. His mother, a Kiri refugee that is the only known survivor of her clan.

His lineage was strong, and many pegged his success to his genes. That was far from the case. While he was a Nara, he barely showed their renowned laziness. His mother had kept him from that. He did however, show much of the Nara intelligence during his time in the academy.

He was truly blessed with inheriting both of his parents kekkai genkai. He awakened his Hyoton release at the age of four. He began by simply freezing a glass of water. His mother quickly began training him to hone that skill.

A year after he began the academy, he managed to discover his ability to manipulate shadows. He had the suspicion that it was an inherent ability, much like Hyoton, but with the Nara natural laziness, it just took it's time manifesting.

At the end of his time in the academy, he graduated with top marks and honors. He was hailed as the "Rookie of the Year" and was paired with Tenten and Rock Lee. Tenten was the "Kunoichi of the Year" and Lee graduated the "Dead Last".

The three of them were placed under the watch of Maito Gai. They could not have been happier with who they were teamed up with. Through the academy, many of the kids bullied Lee because of his inability to perform nin-jutsu. Aisuku and Tenten would both step forward in his defense any time that happened.

The favor was returned when people would pick on Aisuku for his feminine appearance. He was tall in his class at 5’4”. He had a very slender build and a very feminine face. The Yuki clan had always looked quite androgynous and he certainly picked up that trait. He had piercing light blue eyes and black hair. His hair was always pulled back into a high ponytail like many Nara’s. He also kept his bangs out and they framed his face.

The mutual support against the harassment bred a very positive rivalry between Aisuku and Lee. Gai had encouraged such friendly competition, often regaling them of stories between him and his own rival, Kakashi Hatake.

Aisuku took his training seriously but would often spend the time away from training meditating. Sometimes the meditation was just to calm him after dealing with Gai and Lee. Sometimes he would mix training with it, focusing on honing his Hyoton and Shadow releases.

His meditation had gotten him in trouble with Tenten a few times. They were great friends, but she was a bit of a workaholic. The first few times she had seen him meditating, she thought he was falling into the Nara laziness and decided to smack the crap out of him.

That quit after he froze her feet to the ground when she tried to do it again. They had fun while they hung out in their off time. They would still train most of the time but at a much more laid back pace. Tenten had managed to convince Lee to try and break the shadow possession jutsu with his strength.

Normally, he could do that after a few seconds. Aisuku quickly dropped into a meditative pose and put his arms into his sleeves at the start. Lee had to struggle a lot harder to not rip his spandex suit so it took him far longer to escape that time. It gave Aisuku time to try a technique he had discussed with his mother. He formed a one handed seal inside his sleeve and ran Hyoton chakra through his shadow.

The shadow possession was a bit weaker, but it dropped the temperature of Lee's body drastically. He started to shiver and his muscles couldn't pump out the same strength as before. He conceded defeat shortly after. Tenten was quite surprised. She couldn't see the hand sign under Aisuku's long sleeves and couldn’t figure it out until they explained it.

This technique led to a rather interesting discussion with Gai. He had acknowledged the strength of it as a support focused shinobi. Gai actually admitted that his rival would be a better person to discuss nin-jutsu with and had him meet with Aisuku.

After waiting a few hours, Kakashi finally showed up and talked to Gai for a minute. They all sat and discussed what his thoughts were on the technique. Kakashi was impressed to say the least. Manipulating two different chakra natures with two sets of one handed hand signs was completely unheard of.

Kakashi asked to see the technique first had with his Sharingan and Aisuku nodded before capturing him with his shadow when he was ready. He separated his hands and kept his left hand the same, but crossed his right hands index and middle finger into a sign Kakashi had never seen.

He could feel the shadow binding him, but after a few seconds, he could tell his core temperature was dropping fast. He saw the Hyoton chakra traveling through the shadow’s chakra. How it hit him was weird though. It wasn’t surrounding him like the thought, it was actually spreading through his body.

He had called Aisuku to stop and explained his findings. He had thought that with enough practice, he could actually use the water in someone’s body and completely freeze it. It was a truly horrifying prospect but would be a very deadly technique.

Izuna was born to Koyuki Tobashi and Shoshi Hyuko. His father Shoshi had the Shoton Bloodline Limit that he got from his father. While his father’s focus was ninjutsu, his mother was a talented medic-nin. Although she wasn’t on par with Tsunade. When Izuna was three his chakra was unlocked and he was trained, not only by his mother and father, but his grandmother and great-grandmother on his father’s side.

At the age of five he was attacked by a bandit while the ninja in charge of that bandit’s gang attacked his mother. Izuna managed to fight the man to a stand-still after awakening his Sharingan. Afterwards his great-grandmother explained that her husband, who passed before Izuna’s grandmother was born, was Madara Uchiha and that Izuna was named after Madara’s brother.

It was a shock that he gained his eyes, as his father and grandmother didn’t. From that moment on he trained in nin, gen, and iryojutsu in preparation for the day he would head to Konoha. After a year he learned that he was able to use his father’s Shoton Bloodline. He trained in that as well as the elements that went along with it, fire, earth, and lightning.

On the day he turned ten he headed for Konoha, taking his great-grandfather’s surname on the day he left. It caused quite a stir when Izuna Uchiha arrived in Konoha, and after showing his Sharingan to the council he was given an apartment and allowed to join the academy with kids his age. He quickly surpassed Sasuke and took the top spot in the class.

Sasuke came to him a few days after he arrived in Konoha to talk about how they should team up to kill Itachi, since the man murdered their family. “Killing a man I have never met in order to avenge people I never knew, is pointless. As is revenge in general, hate only breeds hate. It is the reason Madara died, and the reason your clan turned their back on him.”

Sasuke snapped at that and tried to attack the boy, but Izuna incased him in a dark green gem. After dropping him off in the Hokage’s office, the boy explored the Uchiha Compound. He found two things of interest there. The first was a journal written by Izuna, and the second was a statue explaining something called the Mangekyou Sharingan. He was horrified by the price you had to pay to gain the power, killing your best friend.

He took the journal with him and left, vowing never to pay that price. When he got back to his apartment, he learned a lot. He learned that Izuna and Madara killed their best friends, which is why they never got close to a lot of others. In fact it seemed that other than his great-grandmother, the only friends that Madara ever had was Izuna and Hashirama Senju.

Although not much was mentioned about Hashirama, other than the fact that Izuna surprisingly had respect for the man. After finishing the journal the boy was actually proud to have Izuna’s name. He spent the next two years arguing with Sasuke, and making friends with some of his classmates. His closest friends were Hinata, the heiress of the Hyuga Clan, and Kiba Inuzuka, the heir to the Inuzuka Clan.

Hinata had a crush on Naruto, and although she was painfully shy, Izuna helped her overcome it to a degree. She still fainted around Naruto though, something Kiba found funny. Kiba never thought things through, but luckily Akamaru, the other boy’s ninja-hound, tried to. It was almost embarrassing to hang around a boy whose dog was smarter than he was, but Izuna found that Kiba’s carefree attitude kept him from missing his family.

With his eyes, Izuna knew that Naruto, a boy in his class, had the nine-tailed fox sealed within him. He saw how Naruto was hated because of this fact and tried to be friendly with the blonde. They didn’t really get off on the right foot though, as Naruto assumed that Izuna would be as big as an asshole as Sasuke.

When he graduated he was placed on a team with Kiba and Hinata. Their main goal would be to track down targets and disable them. They would then bring them back to Konoha for interrogation. They were given a test to see if they could work as a team. The test was to find and capture their sensei Kurenai. The moment that the test started, Izuna and Hinata broke from free from a genjutsu.

They then had to break Kiba free from it, but Akamaru broke out himself. They then tracked Kureani to a different training ground and attempted to capture her. Hinata moved in to close her chakra network, and Izuna put a genjutsu on Hinata and Kurenai. The purpose was to make Kurenai see Hinata’s attack strike an inch to the left of where they would actually strike.

Kiba and Akamaru attacked her while she was distracted and she knocked them away. Afterwards the black-haired woman broke free of the genjutsu and hopped back. She held a hand up to stop them and told them that they passed. They proved they could work together and although they didn’t capture her, they had potential.
