It has been ninety years since the Fourth Great Ninja War against Madara Uchiha and the Akatsuki. Following the Allied Shinobi Forces creation the hidden villages entered a peace treaty and are currently in a state of world wide peace. The Five Kage are in excellent standing with each other and a "United Nations" of sorts is in place. Ninja often travel between other villages to see far away friends and to learn from their allies, but even in such an improved world the prospect of rouge shinobi remains; and those who would steal power from others still exist. Whispers from the land of Wind talk suspicious characters and disturbances around their lands, and the Hidden Rain Village hasn't been heard from in months. In addition, the Hidden Leaf's military strength was greatly diminished after the passing of Seventh and Eight Hokage, Naruto Uzimaki and Konohamaru Sarutobi; the greatest shinobi the leaf has ever had. Making matters worse, the current Hokage is quite inexperienced and often referred to as "disagreeable".
You, a Chunin from one of the hidden villages - are apart of an exchange program with the Hidden Leaf. You will be in a small group of ninja from different villages, including the Leaf; who will be assigned to a mission to promote international unity and teamwork. This is a chance to check out the competition and improve on your own combat techniques. Although the purpose of this is to help the next generation work together, many young ninja use these programs as an opportunity to test themselves against foreign shinobi and to prove their own strength.
You find yourself in the Hidden Leaf training grounds, waiting for your future teammates; or rivals, to arrive. Slowly others begin to trickle in as you asses them and their possible abilities. Now is the time to prove to everyone else, and to yourself that you are formidable ninja with a bright future capable of achieving and going beyond even your own expectations.

This is going to be an RP with a deep plot and large amount of combat, with character relations and sub plots as well. If you haven't watched the anime you may be a little bit lost and will have difficulty understanding alot of what is going on, so I'd recommend not applying if you haven't watch some of it. I'll be allowing OC clans, jutsu, bloodline traits, and transformations in addition to the cannon versions if you fit that into the time line. However your OC components are not allowed be godly powerful, at least not anywhere near the beginning. I'll be playing the role of sensei to the squad of Chunin, although a second sensei could be added; you'd have to PM about that if you're interested. Otherwise you will be a Chunin ninja from any of the villages, except the Hidden Rain.
I am open to any suggestions you may have.
