Chiruka arched an eyebrow. "I just don't like it." She stated.

Kushina sighed but smiled with a shake of her head. "She just doesn't want to admit she's still my adorable little girl."

Chiruka looked at Kushina with a confused expression. "I'm not adorable."

Kushina groans in disbelief. "She doesn't see herself at all Minato!" She said dramatically grabbing into his arm in dispair.

 

[Galactatech]

"I think you're pretty onee-chan." Patorikku said, giving his older sister a comforting hug.

 

[MorikoSenju]

Chiruka looks at Patorikku with a confused expression. "I don't care if I'm pretty or not. It's meaningless, much like this nonsense." She says with a sigh. "I thought we were focused on you lot, not this." She finally suggested, wanting to get back on track.

 

[Galactatech]

"your not meaningless Onee-Chan, your our precious big sister." Patorikku said.

 

[MorikoSenju]

Chiruka looked at Patorikku with a blank expression. "I don't understand..." Chiruka said with a sigh. "Patorikku. This conversation is what's meaningless. I know I'm your big sister, I don't care if I'm pretty, and this is making me annoyed and uncomfortable... Let's move on."

"are you uncomfortable around us?" Patorikku asked.

Chiruka frowned once more, annoyance filling her. Sometimes Patorikku acted younger then he was, but she supposed that was better then the alternative. "No."

Naruto laughed at the sight in front him.

Patoriku felt reassured by this and hugged his big sister.

Time passed as Naruto, Hinata and Sasuke started their training under Kakashi Hatake with Patorikku beginning his training under Minato and Kushina before he could begin training to be an ANBU ninja after the chunin exam concluded.

As weeks and eventually, months passed it was clear that the new Graduates were starting to realize that being a Ninja wasn't all about being heros or cool Jutsu. The last few traces of their childish fantasies fading as they were treated to training, village chores, and stories of wars that had come to pass.

Everyone was growing, from Naruto to Sasuke, Hinata and Chiruka were all growing up. Kushina was amazed to see her children start becoming their own person before her eyes. Patorikku was so young, he had a bit longer to go but...she would never trade seeing him grow for anything. She only wished the best for her children. Naruto was happy, but... She knew her children and knew Patorikku and Chiruka still hadn't forgotten the shadows of their past. she could only hope that they would fully embrace the light. She could see it reaching Patorikku, his family and Hanabi at his side, but... Chiruka was still lost.

And she was... Chiruka cursed as she dashed through the Forest of Death. She was finally getting her final test from one of her Summoning Contracts. She absolutely would not fail. Even if she absolutely hated hide and seek and tag.

Patoriku was currently practicing to learn sealing jutsu. He finished up the test seal his mother gave him, Patorikku grinned with pride as he ran to go show her. "Mama, look, I finished it!" Patoriku said proudly.

Kushina grinned happily as she ruffled Patorikku's hair, looking icer the seal matrix. "Good job. You're learning what the different sequences mean. Once you have a good grasp on what each section means, we'll work on interlocking them together. You can start making your own storage scrolls now. And pretty soon Explosive tags as well, Dattebane." She gushed excited and proud.

"and eventually training weight seals, right mama?" Patorikku asked. Patorikku hoped using training weight seals would make him strong like Might Take, and perhaps fast like his papa. Patorikku liked Might Gai. He knew the eccentric man because he was kakashi's self proclaimed rival. Patoriku used weighted seals his mother made for him, but of course he wasn't allowed to raise the weight unless his parents allowed him to.

Patorikku was also planning on having summoning seals placed on him so he wouldn't need to carry supplies on missions. In addition, it would allow him to be able to summon his bed, the frame of which he made with his Wood style. He could see it now. Him and his future ANBU teammates sleeping in a cozy little cabin while on a mission.

"Mama, I know I can't use the same chains as you, but you think you could teach me how to properly use my demon chains?" He asked, referring to the outer path's demonic chains. "I'd love to be able to use them to make a barrier." Patorikku said.

Kushina blinked in confusion. "Chains..." She muttered in thought. "Is that an ability you have?" She questioned. The Rinnegan was an interesting bloodline that her son was learning. And they were constantly learning about the abilities it had. All they knew about it was the Sage of Six paths had it after all.

Kushina nodded after a moment. "Hmmm, what do you mean by barrier? Oh, you mean similar to my ability? Chakra chains are able to restrict and bind, it took me a long time to figure out how to make a barrier." She admitted with a grin. " But yours might just be able to as well. My barrier isn't based on my chains, its a mixture of my Uzumaki blood and Yang Release. So we'll have to figure out a way for you to use it, Senju useually carry Yang Chakra as well." Kushina explained. "Are you ready for the hard work that would take?"

 

[Galactatech]

"absolutely mama!" Patorikku grinned. Despite his young age, Patorikku was already a dedicated student of the Ninja arts. He wanted to become the strongest Ninja in the world so that he could protect others, especially those he cared about.

 

[MorikoSenju]

Kushina nodded with a smile. "Just like your papa and your big sister." She said with a grin. "Alright then, we can start working on you gathering and learning Yang Natured Chakra." She promised with a smile as she looked over his seal test once more.

Meanwhile, Chiruka was finally on her way home a bit scratched up and torn. Rubbing the blood from the scratches on her face off. Maybe getting tattoo's similar to Tobirama would be interesting? Then she could really be his ghost? The thought was amusing, but she pushed it aside as she wandered through the village. She had completed the Tiger's test and had gained the right to summon the Boss. Now she would have to finish the Snow Leopard's Challange when she left the village again.

 

[Galactatech]

"I'm also like you and Onii-san!" Patorikku grinned with pride.

 

[MorikoSenju]

Kushina laughed. "Ah, well your brother is a knucklehead, and I'm not genius. But I'm proud your like me as well."

 

[Galactatech]

Patorikku gave an eye smile as he hugged his mother. The young boy was a happy young boy, he had few memories of ROOT. Patorikku only fragments of memories from that time. One of then was that he had knowledge of the the fact he had Sharingan abilities, but he was more interested in learning more about his Rinnegan as he could easily learn about the Sharingan from the Uchiha Clan.

That, plus he didn't feel right about using the Sharingan abilities as he was not an Uchiha. Yes he had Madara's DNA, but he was worried using his Sharingan abilities would put him at risk of falling victim to the curse of hatred, something he was secretly mortified of.. becoming like Madara.

Meanwhile, Shusei Uchiha caught sight of Chiruka. "Good Lord, what happened to you?" He asked in genuine concern for his comrade's well being.

Kushina nodded with another grin before moving on. She loved all of her children and wanted them to be as strong as possible. She would need to make sure to train with Naruto and Chiruka as well soon. Besides she would have to start dinner soon.

Chiruka blinked in confusion, tensing up in shock for a moment. Then she recognized it was an Uchiha and Shisui at that. Someone that she got along with, to an extent. She seemed to get along with Uchiha the most, Itachi and Izumi being friends of hers. "Ah.." she pauses for a moment forgetting what she has been doing. "My Boss Summons challenge trial." She explained.

 

[Galactatech]

"what, letting him to use you as a human scratching post?" The Uchiha asked.

"Mama, can I help you with dinner?" Patorikku asked.

Chiruka gained a blank expression, shifting her gaze away. "I had to track them, then hunt them, then....capture and subdue them. It was a bit complicated." She admitted, rubbing at one of the cuts on her cheek. "I did not expect it to be easy though. And I passed, so the end result is worth it. It's nothing serious anyway."

Kushina blinked before gushing happily at Patorikku. "Of course darling. I'm so happy you want to help your momma."

 

[Galactatech]

Patorikku smiled as he began helping with the dinner preparations.

"Then you'll probably be needing this." The young Uchiha said as he handed her some healing ointment.

Kushina was quick to throw a meal together that would feed her family and friends. As far as she knew Naruto's team should be joining them tonight, they had dinner with Hinata's family the previous night.

Chiruka paused looking at the ointment in confusion. She slowly took it from him looking it over. How ..strange. She wasn't offered help very often...mostly because people found her intemidating or cold. Or too skilled to need help. It was...nice...

"Ah, thank you." She said with a slight smile towards the other. "This should help. I'm not the best with Medic Ninjutsu..."

 

[Galactatech]

"That's what friends are for." He said.

Patorikku smiled as he helped mother. He did this by creating a couple of shadow clones. One to set the table, the other to keep look out for the rest of there family.

Team 7 just finished a d rank mission to capture an alligator that found its way into the village's sewer system. Needless to say, they were tired, fiflthy and hungry.

"Friends..." Chiruka repeated with a nod. "I guess that's so." She said I agreement. The friend thing was new, but she could get used to it.
