I'm looking at obscure clans because people only pick certain ones and also why not. Canon clans are so few, most are anime only... I do have some interesting finds though.

Now that i think about it, I actually ran a character with this chakra mode on RPN before. He had away more stuff doe, since he was meant to be an elite shinobi. I can actually PM it to you if you feel like checking what the character is roughly going to be like, Larry .

I've been thinking kyūjutsu (bow), poisons and long range weapons? Not sure.

Interesting my friend, I can't say I've seen too many characters using a bow in Naruto bar that guy that fought Neji and given that it's so distinctive, it sounds very likely that it's a clan specialty.

Good idea, and the poisons that they tip the arrows with could be a similar recipe to that Special Hyuga Clan Ointment that Hinata gave Naruto after his one-on-one fight in the Chunin Exams.

I mean, the wound got healed from the Kyuubi chakra, I don't think it was a super OP healing cream lol.

Would the genin ONLY know the clone jutsu? I'm wanting my girl to come from a medical background, so might to be realistic for her to know a few basic skills, such as cleansing wounds with chakra, knowing how to properly bandage/dress wounds, blood coagulation, etc? These are things I don't assume either of the jonin can teach her; things she learns from home or scrolls, and gradually learns more powerful healing jutsu/skills as she ages.

Yup, that's perfectly fine since she comes from a medic-nin background so your character would naturally be taught various techniques dealing with medical ninjutsu so write away buddy!
