If it was, your character wouldn't be doing the Chuunin exam most likely. They aren't like experts either (could be on the novice side just being 'good' enough to be considered ready to take the exams)

My team is full of 15 year olds who have been Ninja for a little while without being in a team. So it would make sense that its close to the Chunin Exams and that the team is just being made.

Aye, while not seen in the Naruto series, its very possible teams can be formed before the Chuunin exams taking the ones who are seen as ready for them. That and this is its own series anyways and we can't be certain waht the rain would do.

Derp enrish for my post. I remember talking about it being at that point with Ginny. As far as how close it is (or hell maybe even starting just arriving for it) not sure I just know its taking place about that time. ^^;;

As far as timeframe, I'd delegated @CaughtInTheRiddle to announce it, but I think something came up RL with her.


For a timeline, most teams have been around for a year. If your whole team wants a different time, feel free, but the average is a year.


The 9 tails attack in the Leaf was about 6 months ago, right after the last chunnin exams. Many of the teams in the Leaf would have been restructured, so it's a case of been a genin, somewhat new team.


First arc is infact the chunnin exams
