Seeing the smoke rise and envelope the vastly more experienced red head, Kiyoshi readily knew that there was not much more he could do in terms of adhering to Ryuji's request, after all he had no real techniques designed towards hindering the vision of his enemies. That being said, he still had other ways of aiding in the assault and if Eiichi's goal was to rob Kasane of her sight, then Kiyoshi's would be to rob her of her ability to hear. For one trained in the arts of 'Sound Style' ninjutsu, Kiyoshi was undoubtedly far more aware of just how important the ability to hear was and knew just how detrimental it would be to have that sense betray you.
How would Kasane react with her vision obscured and her hearing no longer reliable? Would she falter long enough for Ryuji's plan to take affect?. Its often been said that once one sense has been hindered, the other's seem to act on overdrive, what would then happen if another sense was taken?.
Forming the required handsigns, Kiyoshi raised both hands now in the 'Tori [bird]' form and began to purse his lips. - Sound Release: Parrot's Charade - The faint whistling of air being pushed aside as if a kunai was flying through could now be heard escaping Kiyoshi's mouth, the sound shot towards the growing plumage of smoke at various angles aiming at nowhere in particular. The aim was to take advantage of the assumption that Kasane would default to relying on her ability to hear to overcome the inability to see in the smoke.
How would she react to hearing the sound of dozens upon dozens of Kunai flying all around her? To make matters worse, Kiyoshi would begin to intermix tongue clicks, this new sound replicating the sound of a Kunai hitting another Kunai or hitting a wall; to further make it believable that Kunai were indeed being thrown indiscriminately.
Would Eiichi's smokescreen and Kiyoshi's sound trickery be enough to stall Kasane enough for Ryuji's genjutsu to land? Only time would tell.
