Hikari sweatdrops "Apparently it's suspicious I know how to fight someone of the Akatsuki or arrive not that long after the guy." she says.

 

[roxas]

Nina shrugged."Suppose that could be suspicious of you but that Leaf ninja came here too the one with the cart and I came like earlier but you're the suspicious one." She mumbled.

 

[Flame Demon]

"I don't really know either, could be the fact I know how he fights." Hikari mumbles and she sighs "I'll live with it." she adds.

 

[roxas]

Nina grabs her bowl to put it in the sink."That could be why, that could be what makes you suspicious to them." She nods."I would try to behave for the meantime til they leave you alone them." She tells her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"But if they do their homework they can easily know that too, so it's a bit stupid." Hikari says, though she did instantly attack Deidara, that might be why, though she's not sure how no one had heard the explosions.

 

[roxas]

Nina goes to put the rest of the stuff away after that."They should probably figure that stuff out but just lay low low the time being then they'd probably let you go." She tells her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"Hard to lay low when they basically assigned me the one job where someone constantly keeps an eye on me, and I'm not talking about Gaara." Hikari says and she looks outside "I'm gonna scout the city for a bit. Don't wait up." she says "And I'll wash the dishes when I get back."

 

[roxas]

Nina turns towards her."Is his sister going to be watching you or his brother?" She walks by the table."If you say so, I might go for a walk myself then." She tells her.

 

[Flame Demon]

Hikari nods and she heads off, well, she was gonna be watched either way, however, that ANBU on the roof wasn't moving, so she guesses there are more. She knew the city, she did before she left anyway, which is why she is scouting right now, to get herself familiar with the layout and away from the memories of her parents.

 

[roxas]

Nina walked outside and goes the other way, she folds her arms as she goes on by herself and she would've preferred there to be more trees and such, she sighs quietly.

 

[Flame Demon]

Hikari watches Nina head off before moving from rooftop to rooftop, eventually perching herself on top of the Kazekage's tower, no intruder would be coming in now, not with her there and she knows for a fact that Gaara's still inside.

Temari enters Gaara's office with tea and dinner "Have you taken a break?" she asks putting everything down at a free space on the desk "And if you plan to work through the night I don't think you have much to worry about. Hikari's on the roof, overlooking the city." she adds. Yes she didn't trust Hikari yet, but there had been plenty of chance for the Uchiha to kill her brother already.

 

[roxas]

Gaara sighed with his stomach rumbling."There's just alot of paperwork and I've held some meetings with the ninja then checked on the younglings in the village training." He does thank her for the food and he gets to it."She's outside? Didn't think she'd be already taking up the job tonight." He nods at her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"I think she might be feeling restless at her house, she did live there with her parents and on and off when your father was alive." Temari says "And she could be scouting, if she hasn't visited in a while." she adds while organizing the desk.

 

[roxas]

Gaara does eat a bit slowly and takes a sip of tea."If she hasn't been here for awhile i would say thats why she would want to be scouting..." He goes quiet at the mention of their father though.

 

[Flame Demon]

Temari walks over and hugs her brother "You've got me and Kankuro, you have Naruto. Maybe you can add Hikari to your friend circle once we've determined if she can be trusted." she says "Don't work too late, kay?"

 

[roxas]

Gaara wraps his arms around her."You two are my family and Naruto is a good friend, we'll figure out what to do or think of Hikari later on." He says quietly."I'll try not to, but I'm a little bit behind on work." He tells her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"Well you do have a bodyguard who's probably bored out of her mind. Ask if she can help." Temari saus with a smile "But sleep is important."

 

[roxas]

Gaara pulled away."You'd want me to trust her to help out? I suppose it could show a bit of trust and have her relax around us if she's suspicious at all by now." He nods at her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"I'd say she is suspicious, since she basically got the most important job right away." Temari points out "But yeah, it wouldn't hurt to show her some trust."

 

[roxas]

Gaara stands up and goes towards the window."Why don't you come inside, there's some tea and maybe some work for you." He called outvfor her before going to his sister and puts his hands behind him.

 

[Flame Demon]

"Maybe some work?" Hikari asks, hanging upside down in front of the window and she drops in "I'm guessing you're stuck doing paperwork?" she asks seeing the amount of papers on the desk.

Temari smiles "Well goodnight you two and good luck." she says and heads off, maybe she could give Hikari a test, but it could be too soon. She'd do it another time when they know if they can trust her, a bit.

 

[roxas]

Gaara sighed."It's been a busy few days and the work has piled up a bit, I know how irresponsible." He waved a hand at his sister."Try to get some sleep sister." He turned to Hikari."There might be a few jobs in there for you with the towns people." He tells her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"And you think that the people living here will trust me if Temari doesn't even trust me?" Hikari asks "And whether or not it's irrisponsible depends on the reason you're falling behind. Though I'm curious. I heard the explosion Deidara was making when I entered the city, why hadn't your ANBU responded by the time I actually got to the bastard?" she asks.

 

[roxas]

Gaara grabs his chair."Because I was out on business with Naruto and the Hokage, I had just come back when he was here and my brother should've been on alert because Temari was insisting on coming with me." He explains to her."If you do such things for them, they'll come around and treat you not as an outsider...I've been treated differently before, for being what I am." He brushes a hand on the mark on his forehead and sits down.

 

[Flame Demon]

Hikari frowns "Yeah I know," she says "But, at least, you changed their minds. Some older people who live here might remember me as the little kid running down the street, but yeah, I haven't stayed much after..." she trails off. She looks outside before changing the topic to something less depressing "Well at least it's a good reason for falling behind on your work. I can help read through it and put aside what's not that urgent if you want."
