Temari bows slightly before disappearing, appearing next to Hikari "Gaara wsnts to speak with you." she says "Come in through the door.", when she's with Gaara again she gets an idea "You know..." she trails off "Given what we saw she could easily break Kankuro's puppets, but she can't break out of your sand. If you make her your 'bodyguard' she would constantly be within your sight and if she is a spy you can probably intercept the messages."

Hikari gets up and jumps down, using the door like a normal person "Nina, if you wanna talk I'm afraid you'll have to wait." she says.

Sasori leaves Suna and he heads towards a small abandoned house, it wasn't a well known place, but for Hikari to maintain her cover she would need to stay in the village, he also couldn't be seen heading to the hideout, not after Deidara ruined the plan.

 

[roxas]

Nina waved her hands."Okay I'll just stand out here and wait for you." She tells her.

Gaara sits down at his desk after taking his container full of sand down behind him, leaning against the wall."Hire her as a bodyguard? We could give that a try to check her out in a more subtle way." He nods at that, he turns to Hikari."What brings you here? To Suna." He asks her.

"I had heard there was a new Kazekage, so I figured that it might be time to come back." Hikari answers "I disappeared because the previous Kazekage was acting weird, he also seemed to have no idea who I was, so that made me suspicious, hence why I went under the radar. Which you were likely going to ask about next." she says "Anything else?" she asks, fiddling with the headband around her neck, she was slightly nervous.

 

[roxas]

Gaara just doesn't give away much with facial expressions, it was emotionless for the moment."Hm, perhaps so like offering you a Jon as a bodyguard as maybe you could use some work if you're going to be here for a bit." He tells her.

Hikari raises an eyebrow "That sounds good." she says with a nod "I would like to get settled in first if that's alright." she says with a small bow. Well this was a problem, only a slight problem though, but it meant no trips to the base or sending much messages.

Gaara nods at that."It'll be a temporary job, probably unless we decide otherwise." He explains before grabbing some paperwork of reports and messages he had to go through, though he glanced at his sister and sighed a bit.

Nina was standing outside waiting for her to meet up with her, she was leaned against the wall.

Hikari nods and heads outside "You wanted to talk?" she asks with a smile, though she is nervous about being in Suna again, especially since Deidara ruined it for her, he knew she was going, what did he think would happen?

Temari leans against the wall "Should I have an ANBU trail her?" she asks quietly, Kankuro could do it, but their ANBU were a bit more stealthy.

Nina turned to her when she came outside."Roku was it? Was saying you'd want to go to the valley and try to find your family so he thought I should take you there and that you might have more training to do." She tells him.

Gaara leans into his seat."If they could be stealthy about it then I would send a few and I want tabs on the man from before as well." He tells her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"Yeah about that... prove you're part of the clan first." Hikari says crossing her arms "It's a bit weird someone would actually mention being part of the clan, they killed my mother because of the kekkai genkai." she says.

Temari nods "Alright, but we can't follow her everywhere." she says "I've been observing her during the fight and she uses an unknown kekkai genkai.", she didn't know it, so that means the girl was either from a clan that was new, or from one that knew how to stay a secret.

 

[roxas]

Nina sighed at that."The clan or someone else?" She questioned her."Don't use it very often but whatever..." She takes a few seconds to unlock the dragon kekkai genkai before shifting back."I mostly prefer my nature transformation." She tells her.

Gaara moved through the papers."She would be suspicious if we did that and so would that man." He turned to his sister."Just be careful around her." He tells her.

"Hidden Sound nin killed my mother when they found out what clan she was from, usually people don't even talk about it." Hikari says "Hence my suspicions on if you were really part of the clan." she explains.

Temari nods "I will get a few ANBU to trail her and the man." she says and gives a slight bow before heading off.

Haruko looked about as they all split up and went different ways she herself had it off to do some training not knowing when the Hokage would call her in for a mission. Better train why can she thought

Nina puts her hands on her hips."So you believe me now? Suppose if you want to go to the valley we could go whenever you're ready." She walks by her."Have any business left here?" She asks her.

Gaara offered his sister a smile."Make sure you yourself take a break once and awhile sister." He tells her.

"I will when you're not being targeted." Temari jokes while closing the door.

"Yeah, I'm the Kazekage's bodyguard." Hikari says "Starting tomorrow, so I can't exactly leave right now, just... maybe next month?" she asks "I also need to get my house in order, so...", she couldn't leave just yet, that would be suspicious "You can help me if you want to."

Tsunade is looking over the papers Itachi had given her "You're sure?" she asks, earning a nod. So the Hokage turns to a nearby ANBU "Get me someone Danzo doesn't know in this place." she says, this was concrete proof that Danzo tried having the Uchiha killed and later got them exiled instead.

Nina was a bit surprised."He just appointed you as his bodyguard? You must've impressed him somehow." She gestured to her."I might as well come along and help you out then so lead the way to your place." She tells her.

"Something like that." Hikari mumbles as she starts walking to her parent's old house, now hers "And it might be more to keep an eye on me I think." she says. When she opens the door she sighs seeing all the dust "Well, I got my work cut out for me."

Temari emre-enters Gaara's office "I've put one on constant surveillance at her house." she says "But she is going to need a uniform. How are we going to do that?" she asks.

 

[roxas]

Nina walks after her to the place, she sighed and slouched a little."Okay maybe the door open while we dust then? You must not have been here for awhile then." She mumbled.

Gaara stands up to go over to the window."We just give her a uniform, we have to make it seem like she's actually got the job." He shrugged."We should be a le to find her one." He tells her.

"So technically, she's just taking my job for a while until we know if we can trust her or not." Temari says and she looks outside "Although... given that she was a sand nin before she disappeared I imagine she has her own." she adds, it would make sense the girl would have her own outfit, given there are records of her taking missions, but the timing was weird, first Deidara shows up, then an hour later Hikari arrives, instantly attacking the Akatsuki, so either she was tracking him or she's working together with him.

"You could say that." Hikari comments while opening a few windows and she glances outside "You don't have to help, but I could use it, since this place is dusty as hell."

Nina walks inside."If you let me lodge with you I suppose I might as well help out, not like I have a place here." She waved a hand, she goes to find a duster in a closet and holds it out.

Gaara puts his hands behind him."If she has a uniform then we don't need to worry about getting one." He turned to her."Just temporarily, once we've got enough info on her to tell whether or no she's a threat I'll let her go as the bodyguard to do whatever but this was your idea too, doesn't mean you wouldn't still have your job." He tells her.

"I'm still going to be your bodyguard, but I'll be keeping an eye on Hikari." Temari says.

Hikari nods and she heads upstairs to check on her room and she sighs, well, at least she had time to clean up today. "You can use the small bedroom if you want to, the bigged on is currently used as storage space." she says.

 

[roxas]

Nina grabs out the broom and dustpan as well, she nods at her."Might as well get started on this place, I've been around much dirtier houses before this shouldn't take too long." She tells her.

Gaara smiles a little."I know you would, even if I offered you a day off I doubt you'd take it." He walked over to her.

"Let's hope not, gotta get groceries too." Hikari says and she sighs, well at least she could think abnout thst instead of thinking about what coild possibly go wrong, though she knows where Sasori is if she needs him, though the hjouse he's using is more of a temporarily house for scouting missions.

"Of course not, do you know how many people actually still want you dead?" Temari asks looking at her brother "Although we need to be careful, since Hikari will be acting as your bnodyguard she could easily give information if she's a spy."

A leaf ANBU approaches Haruko "The hokage wishes to speak with you." he says "It's urgent." he adds before disappearing again.

Nina gets to work on the house to start sweeping and dusting fhe place."Then we should get this place done so we could do that." She shrugged."So does that Roku guy, your father is he in the village?" She asks him.

Gaara puts his hands behind him."You mean the Akatsuki?" He turned towards her."I can very much handle myself Temari as can you, but it doesn't hurt to have a little extra help and we'd just have to be careful with her." He tells her.

"No he lives outside the city." Hikari says "Only comes for groceries really." she adds while cleaning up her room, thinking about what Pein had told her the night before 'We will know where you are, so you don't have to say anything, don't do anything that makes you appear suspicious.', well its's too late for that. She opens her bag and takes out her uniform, well she has several. in case one of them needs to be fixed "So what will you be doing while I'm the Kazekage's bodyguard?"

"You know, something's been bothering me about the attack from this morning." Temari says "But it could just be me." she adds "However since when do they target unpopulated areas to draw someone out?"

 

[roxas]

Nina shrugged as she swept."Not sure, maybe I could offer to help out with stuff here or I just go for walks, check the shops for books." She sighed then put a hand on her hips."I was just here to grab food and water but then I got caught up with you." She hummed.

Gaara sighed."That I don't know or maybe they weren't trying to draw someone out, this whole situation is a bit weird which is why we're investigating and watching the girl." He goes to sit down."Just don't make yourself suspicious to her." He tells her.
