"I can fight you know." Hikari says "It might not be what they teach you guys, but still." she points out "And there are probably other things they do as well."

"I know, but I'm still worried." Temari says "Those ninjas inside we can handle, but we can't exactly go after the Akatsuki if we don't know where they are."

 

[roxas]

Gaara sighed."They're the ones we should be more careful about since they're alot tougher." He mumbled, he glanced at the window then at her."Going to check for more of those nin?" He asks her.

Nina shrugs."You can fight but they could have stuff to teach you is what I was telling you." She pulls on one of the couch pillows."You could learn some things and try gardening." She tells her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"I feel like we're gonna be helping at the farms anyway." Hikari mumbles "And I guess so, there's more to life tgen fighting."

"No, they won't show up during the day, besides, we got quite a few now, so we can force some information out of those and work from there." Temari tells him "Also you did send Hikari home, so I'm staying with you."

 

[roxas]

Gaara placed his hand on his stomach."I could use some food though." He sighs a little but he smiled at his sister."You're never not going to berotdctive are you?" He questioned her.

Nina licks her lips."Well it's always nice to know how to defend yourself but I'm not the one who's going to be training, I'll give the gardening a try." She tells her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"Well it is how they get enough money, so it seems important to learn." Hikari says, she wished she had seen the valley, made it before they got attacked, but she eventually accepted it wasn't for her.

"Good thing I got food." Temari says and she puts down a plate after leaving for a few seconds "I'm actually surprised." she points out "That you went along with my idea to make someone suspicious your bodyguard."

 

[roxas]

Gaara pulls the plate towards him, thanking her before he digs in to eat."Why wouldn't I take your ideas into consideration? I thought it was a smart choice to keep her close to watch her or maybe make her feel like she could confide in us." He tells her.

Nina sits at that and she puts her hands in her lap."Let's work on that, maybe we could practice somewhere and I'm sure it would be helpful for the clan as well." She explains.

"Well she doesn't seem like someone who opens up easily." Temari says "Although...do you think she finds it weird she got the most important job right away?" she asks.

"We can't exactly practice farming here." Hikari points out and she sighs "I'm happy with my new family, but sometimes I feel like I'm missing something by never having been to the valley."

 

[roxas]

Gaara quietly eats before speaking."She already is suspicious about it." He nods at that and uses a napkin."She has opened a little but she seems a bit like me in a way." He sighed.

Nina fiddles with fhe couch pillow."You'll get to go there just got to let them get off your back then you can go." She puts the pillow in her lap."Go take your nap." She tells her.

Hikari nods slightly and she heads upstairs "If there's a problem you know where to find me." she says.

"True, then again, if her parents were killed when she was a kid then she has reasons not to trust so quickly. But something's bothering me about that." Temari says taking a file "They were attacked by hidden Sound nin and they were buried in the valley, as per tradition, but it says their daughter went missing." she tells him "So either this Roku really isn't who he says he is, or he simply forgot to report she's alive."

 

[roxas]

Gaara leans into his seat once he was done."I was already suspecting that the man is someone he's not, I wasn't sure if he even is a resident here as well." He sighed."Should still be careful of him." He tells her.

Nina waved to her as she does."Okay, just get some rest." She stands up and goes to the market.

 

[Flame Demon]

"Probably not." Temari says "Maybe Hikari will share the whole story, but maybe she won't.", Roku wasn't who he claimed he was, but maybe Hikari didn't know better, or she was someone they had to watch out for " We could test something. If you have business in the Leaf or somewhere else Hikari would have to come too, if you get attacked when she hasn't left your side and couldn't send a message then she isn't a spy."

Gaara stands from his seat."Go to the hidden leaf? Make it seem like I'm not well defended or have let my guard down." He shrugged as he goes over to the window."We could arrange that though she could also just be projecting the man." He tells her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"That's also an option, but if he did raise her then we can't really blame her." Temari points out "But yeah, I mean, if you're not well defended and she hasn't send anyone a message then we might know a bit more."

 

[roxas]

Gaara walks over to the door after that and grabs his gourd."Then let's make some arrangements and talk to the Anbu." He opens the door and waits for her to walk out before following behind her.

 

[Flame Demon]

"So a friendly visit to the Leaf?" Temari asks "And of course there will be ANBU coming too, but those will stay out of sight." she points out.

 

[roxas]

Gaara nods at that."Though this time she can't be noticing them like she has been with the ones following her." He sighed at that as he goes outside.

 

[Flame Demon]

"She probably will notice them." Temari says "But as long as they stay out of sight it should be doable, she doesn't need to sense chakra, she can see the chakra surrounding a person with her eyes."

 

[roxas]

Gaara sighed."Then why are we bringing them? She wouldn't try anything with the anbu would she?" He slows down once he got outside."We've got to let her rest a bit though before we go so gather some of the anbu." He tells her.

"Hence why we need to put them at a safe distance, my best bet is that she will sometimes use it to scan the surroundings." Temari says and she nods slightly "And alright." she adds before disappearing to gather the elite ANBU.

 

[roxas]

Gaara nods at her before he walks off him to go through the village as she gathered them, he checked around for how everyone was doing and he stops by the market, noticing the Nina girl from before over there helping someone out and he greets some of the people.

Temari returns to her brother and smiles "Got our most trusted and skilled anbu. Also should we send a message to the Leaf or are you just going to hang out with Naruto once you get there?" she asks.

Gaara held a rich ball he got from the market."There's probably Tim's to send a message though I would just hang out with Naruto, she hasn't returned so she must still be at home." He tells her.

"Well you did order her to take a nap." Temari says "Though you should give a heads up you're coming, do you want me to do your work here while you're away? God knows what Kankuro's up to lately, working on his puppets." says adds.

 

[roxas]

Gaara shrugged."I thought you would be coming with me or are you staying here." He takes a bite of the rice ball, walks with her through the village."She needed it." He tells her.

Temari chuckles "Someone has to keep an eye on things here." she says "Plus, as much as I want to go, that'd be counterproductive, we need to earn her trust."
