Serenity was going to fetch some books from her locker when she noticed the two. After everything what had happened he was still doing this? She glares at Abigail and gets the books out without a word, and shuts her locker, wandering off as she rubs at her eyes. Maybe she just wasn't good enough for him.

Chase flinched as he sensed her anger. He pushed Abigail away and stormed after her. "Serenity!" He called as he rushed over, slowing down as he reached her side.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity looks over at him and sighs as she stopped walking. "Yeah, what" She says, turning away from him.

Chase raised an eyebrow. "What did I do now?" He asked as he kept up with her.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity just shook her head and sighed. "It's fine. You can talk to the girls if you really want to" She says.

 

[Snowfeather]

Chase grabbed Serenity's shoulder and spun her around, pulling her into a bear hug. "The only girl I want to talk to you. And I want to stay up all night just to listen to your voice." He whispered.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity looks up at him and smiles. "You're creepy. But you'll do" She jokes and then nuzzles his nose lightly.

Chase smiled brightly and kissed her on the lips. He wrapped an arm around her waist and walked with her.

Serenity was glad when she could leave schools. She couldn't wait to become an art teacher. She began to father some of her possessions, she couldn't wait to move either.

Chase was at home and he laid on his bed, eyes closed. He rested, but didn't sleep. Today was last day, and today were finals. He was on the lacrosse team, team captain. If they won today, he would get a spot on the national team. His dream.


He opened his eyes and looked up at the ceiling. He heard the crunching of gravel and got up. He put on his lacrosse outfit and took his stick. He threw his bag over his shoulder and then jumped out the window. "Sup mate?" He asked his friend Derek. Derek smirked. "Great, now let's beat those eagles till they can't fly." They both laughed and got into Chase's car, driving off to school.

Serenity places some of her things in a car and then began to drive off after saying goodbye to her family, she didn't get a chance to say goodbye to Chase, so she began to drive to his place, and then got out of the car and began to walk towards him quietly. She wanted him to move in with her too, but she never had the chance to ask him though, since there were always so many girls around him. She began to grow jealous as she watches Abigail, and her group of friends begin to walk over to him. She wondered how they knew where he lived. She shrugs, he must have been inviting a party of girls to his home for a while now.

Chase and Derek got out and walked towards the gym where the team would gather. He got a text from Abigail: Hey babe, where are you? We're at your place.: He growled and texted back: It's game of the year remember? And I'm not your babe!: He then shut off his phone and walked in the gym.


Abigail shrieked. "Oh my god! He said he wasn't my babe, what a douche!" She cited and the girls all secretly cheered. "Also, he's at the gym preparing for the game!" She cheered. The girls all squealed at the thought of the game and they all rushed back to Abigail's car. Abigail noticed Serenity. "What are YOU doing here? Aren't you supposed to be supporting Chase in the game?!" She snapped. "This game is important to him. It will change his future, and you don't even go. What a girlfriend." She muttered.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity growls underneath her breath and got back into the car, driving off. She was glad that the new home she would be living in was in a totally different state, that way she could get away from all of this. She drove to the airport and began to get into her plane after waiting for it. He had her number, if he wanted to know where she was then he could always call or ask her family when he was ready.


Besides, he had Abigail now.

The game was a success. In the final five seconds, Chase scored the winning goal. The team and crowd went wild and Chase was lifted up by the crowd. When he was set down he looked around for Serenity, but...


"Where is she...?" He whispered sadly. He sighed and put it together as he saw recruiters walking over. "Well son! You're on the team!" One of them said happily. Chase brightened up and grinned.


'Hell yeah..' He thought. He spent the next two days packing and then, he was off to lacrosse 'college' or whatever you would call it. His dreams came true.


The first game was a success. All over the news it read: NEWEST MEMBER, CHASE CONNORS SCORE WINNING GOAL AGAINST OGH!! He was proud, being the reason of their victory. He became the star of the team, and scored most goals the entire season.

Serenity spent the next few days in training to become a teacher. She did very well, and soon enough she was able to become a teacher. She soon stopped thinking about Chase. After everything Abigail and the girls had said to her, she was clearly a bad person and should just stay out of his life. She spent most of her time alone, and didn't seem to mind it.

Chase was happy with his carreer. But when he was all alone, whether it'd be in the changing rooms or at home, he would pull out a picture of him and Serenity, and if he was feeling depressed, he'd cry. He'd cry for leaving her and he'd cry for giving up on her. But once the lights turned on and the crowds cheered, he was a different man. He felt alive, more alive than when he was with Serenity, and it made him glad. He was Chase Connors, captain of the best lacrosse team in the United States.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity did well in her career as being a teacher, but she began to pack a few of her things, she would be visiting her family back home for a few days. When she returned home, her family was rather glad to see her, and she spent a lot of time with them, though she soon had wandered into the forests and sat by herself.

"Mom?" Chase called as he entered his old house. He guessed she would be at work so he gave up. He sat down in his Ferrari and drove off. He drova past a group of girls who cheered his name, and he winked playfully.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity was say underneath a tree and sighed to herself, everything sucked at the moment. Her job was great and all but she had fucked up again. She threw a few stones into a stream nearby.

 

[Snowfeather]

The motor roared as he sped up, nearing the edge of the forest. He pulled over and sat in his car, playing with his phone and texting with his co-captain, Mitch.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity notices a car pull up and a familiar scent roam towards her. She looks over and notices Chase, she stood up and looks to him.

 

[Snowfeather]

Chase looked out over the forest before looking down at his phone. He got out of the Ferrari and answered as his phone rang. "Yep?.... Oh yeah hey, sup?... That's harsh, what a bitch!... Well tell her I said hi if you know what I'm saying haha.. Hey, can't complain about those curves... Alright see ya at practice.... Yeah 7 pm..... Be there." He walked around the car and then sat down inside again.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity watches him and then say back down by the stream again. She didn't know whether to say hello to him, or just not say anything. Either way she just stood up and began to wander around the forest, sighing to herself.
